This would have surprised me a little, but once I heard about all the rules in place to protect predators in congress, I knew there would be a lot of them. It's really sick what a person has to go through even to file a complaint.  Some of these guys are really off the rails like the guy asking for "surrogates".

We have to hope war doesn't break out again. Gaza isn't so much an open air prison as a play pen. So many children and no where to hide when the bombing starts.

This is inspirational but also sickening. Why are we having to beg elected representatives to stop attacking us?

I saw someone say on Facebook recently that this seems like Carrie Fisher watching over this and helping all these allegations come out as only she could. Food for thought lol!

I wasn't going to watch the Roseanne revival anyway, but her recent comments about Al Franken led me to see just what she now supports. I wonder how many people who will be watching the new Roseanne are aware of this?

Clearly something is wrong with her in the literal sense.  You don't change positions like that overnight unless there is some kind of imbalance going on, imo. "Off your meds" has sadly become a put down, but it does sound like she has untreated mental illness.

Yeah, despite the fact that I think it's cool when a show can bring back so much of its original cast and I even mused about it in the show's thread, I don't intend to watch.

I don't keep up with her at all.  Just that story made her sound kind of unhinged, but sure, it could all be fake.

Okay, we know that Moore can be a rank opportunist but it is valid to bring up this issue, which is especially timely.

I remember this was brought up again in 2007 or 2008 but didn't seem to go anywhere. I could see it happening in Virginia if they win a few more seats.

Illinois has a Democratic legislatute(not a super majority) and all democratic nominees for Governor here have vowed to sign it. This resurfaced here at the beginning of this year and there has been an active push by a number of groups to revisit it, led by the League of Women Voters. Our current idiot Governor who needs suburban white women in Chicago has never said he won’t but never has said he will either.
