Seriously? Ugh. That's why I always like to hear from the actual constituents of politicians. That's the kind of story you only learn from someone with boots on the ground so to speak. One of the things I love about this thread is getting "local" perspective from posters here.

and Richard Ramirez ended up leaving SF and going upstate where the murders continued, because police no longer had any evidence to go on. 

Now I'm breathing a sigh of relief. I still kept thinking they'd find a way to push this through.

Portman was on the committee that helped write that bill and now he's claiming he had nothing to do with it. He's such a craven little [!@#$%^&*] and we are going to make his life hell during the recess.

Frankly, I hope constituents from across the country makes the GOP's lives hell during this recess.  (Oklahomans won't bother, since we're as red as they come.)

There are Indivisible Groups all over Oklahoma. And there have been protests happening in red states. Check out Indivisibleguide.com and see the number of groups there. It's impressive. I have to believe Tulsa, Oklahoma City both have active groups and protests happening or will be happening over the recess.

Haven't been paying much attention today to the gathering sh*tstorm that Trump's tweets have been causing (I have other things to do) but I've just noticed that there are some calls for Trump to 'tone it down' or 'stop this'.  One tweet even refusing to dignify his rants on Twitter. 

 

Here's one (gently put) example.
