Obviously this is where you and I differ but you should probably get ready. The Georgia runoffs are the whole ballgame. It's going to become Team AOC vs Team Abrams and only one side has delivered real results. Georgia is about to get blasted with ads featuring AOC. We need to denounce and reject her on every level just out of strategy because at the end of the day she's a liability we don't need.

LOL, if this becomes some sort of contest between Abrams and AOC it's no contest for me at all. Abrams is the future of the party machine in a lot of ways. She's done unbelievable work and anyone who tries to make her a target inside the left is a fool.

AOC is following the lead of her idol Bernie Sanders. A lot of hot air and nothing. She's smart no question but if she was really smart she's be listening to Ted Kennedy who's office she worked for versus a guy who has zero legislative action and success.  Sanders still hasn't credited M4All to John Conyers who had been pushing this legislation for 25 years.

Which is why I have no time for, or give zero [!@#$%^&*] about, Princess Sparkle Pony or her antics.  We've just battled the devil himself for the soul of this country, and even though we won (and by a lot), we still have tremendous work to do just the correct the messes that the Trump administration will leave behind on their way out.  The last damn thing we need now are progressives reverting back to "Burn It Down!" mode (even if they've proven that that's all they know how to do) before the new team has even officially moved into 1600 Penn.  Give It. A [!@#$%^&*]. Rest.

I do love it, @OzFrog.  Thank you.

(And Russo is right: not a single lie was told in that clip.)

I guess they are talking about Trump's plan to attempt to get the GOP electors to vote for him instead of Biden if he can't get his way in the courts. Which of course, would throw this country into total chaos. Which side to do you believe will be told to stand down and quell things.

Agree.  But it's like what Cliff Huxtable (yes, that Cliff Huxtable) once said: it's all in the presentation.  FDR's New Deal was pretty damn socialistic, but just try and suggest taking away Social Security and Medicare to the same folks who hate Socialism and don't want it in these United States.

It's so true. I am exhausted from these last 4 years. It has felt like the world was on the verge of collapse at every turn. And it still feels like that, but I have some hope now. Just being able to string a coherent sentence together already has Biden being a more accomplished president than Trump.

Melania renegotiated her prenup, in her favour, in the time period between Trump being elected and when she finally moved into the White House, and she's part of the chorus that is telling Trump to accept that he has lost. She never wanted to be First Lady in the first place. That marriage is absolutely over, even if she never seeks a divorce.

However, if she's stuck till he dies...

Don is out and proud on his Instagram and he openly posts pictures of himself with his partner. Don's rise has been a bright spot of this otherwise horrendous administration. I like him a lot and I am sad for the pain he has had to endure simply for being who he is. He is a good person.

Truly. Much of what has been done is unforgivable.

And a thank you to Mary Trump. She, along with so many others, made dents in the Trump armour that undoubtedly impacted some people who might not otherwise have done the right thing when they went into the voting booth. Her book and the recordings of Trump's sister were important pieces of evidence that made the case for his moral obscenity.

Credit to Bush, he is keeping this moving and keeping the smart Republicans focused on the TRUTH. I look forward to seeing him sitting next to Hillary Clinton at the next inauguration. This time, he won't have to say "That was some weird sh-t" after Biden's speech, as he did after Trump's.

I love that ending for her.

    • All the time they spent trying to make viewers feel sorry for Chad only for him to not even last that long. I wonder if they knew Richard Burgi was going so quickly. You're right about Josie replacing Cheryl. On paper, this should have made sense, given all the ties Josie had to the canvas, but I did prefer Cheryl. There was something very synthetic about Alexandra Wilson.
    • So true...Hackney might have had a story on FC with Richard being an old lover of his, but reveals herself to be a Cartel member and blackmails Richard with something into doing her dirty work  LOL. But of course Richard had his hands full with the double trouble sisters Ms. Jones and Ms. Braxton that season.

    • Cat herself will be a stumbling block all her own as she vowed to Chad to stay away from him, thus redeeming her of her crime morally. Classic DAYS would have them gazing longingly at each other at Doug's Place or Blondie's, while Liz is serenading the room with a song aptly chosen to represent their feelings of emotional turmoil.
    • From what I just recently watched, they were setting her up to go into future stories. She was Emmy nomination worthy in the material I saw. If some viewers did not like her, the character could have been rehabilitated after that sick storyline. It feels like they destroyed a character for fun and then tossed her to the curb. Spencer had chemistry with everyone. I'm just retroactively angry on Spencer's behalf.  You're right about how Cheryl was often forgotten and pushed aside and I would take Cheryl over Josie. I think soaps need characters like Cheryl. Characters like Josie are way too common. Josie always got on my nerves.
    • CBS was back in third place in 1994/95. That was the season CBS lost NFL broadcasting rights which also cost them several established affiliates in major media markets. 1995 CBS was sold to Westinghouse and Les Moonves arrived. 1995/96 CBS was trying to be young and cool to compete with NBC and Fox, but it was an epic failure and CBS was once again in third place.
    • I tend to think that Chad will actually listen to Jen (this time). And that will be the next stumbling block in their relationship, which will open the possibilities for Cat to seek another member of their love triangle... To iterate my earlier thought, I am also not a fan of the person Melissa Reeves, but the character of Jennifer looks so chic this week, especially in comparison to Hope (and Gabi).  That blunt haircut is a winner.
    • I think Cheryl was essentially replaced by Josie, and it seems likely that Lemay wanted to bring the Frames back into the picture and for a variety of reasons that it would be McKinnons who would make way for them. Cheryl didn't really get many layers -- she was pretty and kind and sweet and faded into the background so that Scott could participate in the AIDS storyline with Dawn. Looking at the AWHP, other than (not very) shockingly being in love with her mother's adopted son Scott, Cheryl apparently went out with Sam and flirted with much-too-old-for-her John Hudson and MJ's ex-boyfriend/pimp Chad. I know MJ told Mary that she had been a prostitute, but did she tell Cheryl and did she tell anyone about Chad's pimping?
    • I feel the same way about Melissa Reeves' Jennifer. She just makes the show feel like home by her presence alone. I am perfectly okay with them coming in every once and awhile, which probably fits Reeves' schedule better anyway. Their connections to Salem are still there: JJ, the grandkids, Jack still owning half of The Spectator ... they're perfect recurring characters. All this talk of Jennifer being in the wrong regarding Cat is absurd. Jennifer is not being villainized in any way, shape, or form, she's just being allowed to actually be human, which adds odds to the obstacle of Chad and Cat eventually getting together. All inner conflict. Keep it coming!
    • Hahaha. Jean Hackney, Angelica Nero, and the Falcon Crest henchwomen were all straight out of a James Bond movie.
    • My hunch is what you've described. JFP is likely back working on transitioning the show to a new studio and embracing new technology for its production model.
