I read that some woman on CBS went on about being so in awe of his emotions she had to look away. It's amazing how many in the Beltway eat these [!@#$%^&*] sandwiches with pride. Talking points talking points talking points. They got their scripts and they are sticking to them.

 

Meanwhile he gets a break to, presumably, go get a tranquilizer dart to be more of the loveable, cuddly soccer dad and less of the raging alcoholic dad you hide in your room from as much as you can.

Agreed. I just keep hoping we can stave off as much damage as humanly possible that he plans on doing before January 2021.

I was shocked and horrified by Kavanaugh's tantrum. But I'm a liberal.

Conservatives, on the other hand, have been fed a steady diet of outrage and anger for years. It's the lens through which they view politics. They're going to eat it up and declare his testimony a home run.

The guy refuses to ask for an independent investigation. He's showing he's extremely partisan and has no judicial temperament

 

I can imagine how Dr. Ford would have been torn to shreds with this type of behavior but she's a woman. The hypocrisy in the justification of white male rage is on clear display to 300 million people. I was horrified by Anita Hill but I also don't remember Thomas aggressively going after female senators on the panel. A black man would have never gotten approved for doing that - oh wait again there were no women at the time on the panel.

 

I can say I absolutely abhore Gorsuch's positions but his temperament and fitness never an issue.
