Nice to see that TC showed the trophy ceremony with Stefanos Tsitsipas speech after receiving runner up trophy. ESPN just cut it off as usual.

    Currently no, but let's not forget what Serena and Venus did for Tennis.  Serena remains box office, but their stars are dwindling as they approach 40.  Tennis needs something big and soon!

    Bad luck for Serena to face Kvitova in the second round in Cincy. Serena looked more solid than she has all year this week, so maybe this provides something to build on in NYC (and she’ll be fresher with this early loss).

    Yeah, but if I have to watch Queen get beaten by anyone, it may as well be Kvitova!  I just love her power and the FH is out of this world!  Queen needs more match play, plain and simple.

    Yeah, Kvitova had no chill last night, lol.

     

    I'd rather watch a match with some actual big swings and power hitting where players can produce actual 'kill shots' than a match with endlessly defensive hitting where the ball is in play for damn near 50 shots, where neither player seems capable of finishing a point (I'm looking at you, Simona).

    It was refreshing to see some "Big Babe Tennis" as Mary Carillo used to call it.
