Members Chris B Posted June 16, 2007 Members Share Posted June 16, 2007 From what I read on the Gold Derby Emmy forum, Van didn't submit his strongest tapes so I didn't expect him to win. Bryton had a great year with his mother returning, Davetta's Lily and going deaf. Plus he submitting two great tapes that showed range. He's an amazing actor who has been rocking it since being on Family Matters. He deserves better than Y&R gives him. I think the two perfect tapes for him would have been Luke pushing Lily down the stairs and that episode where Luke and Lucinda coffee klatch-ed it up at Lucinda's house. I'm getting worried that she may really be absorbing too much of the character into her daily life, as she mentioned in an interview.
