B&B: This Lady is a Tramp

I’ve just entered a new week in the lives of (psychologically) troubled inhabitants of LA and since there is not thread yet, here we go. Tada! ;)

So we again enter into the psychic of someone we thought we knew - the introvert Mr. Nick Payne. Taylor’s a real busy buddy these days - ain’t she?

But I like the fact that those deranged people finally start seeking for help - one by one. If the trend continues Taylor’s car (she has a DRIVER!?) will soon become a stretch limo... LOL!

The best part of the current digging into Nick’s and Jackie’s past plot is probably the side effect: the Forresters strongly united. Really love it - only Kristen is missing to make this picture-perfect. And Fefe still gets the best lines, Brad Bell really loves Lesli Kay one can tell.

Still waiting for the big Jackie reveal but I haven’t reached past Monday.

Do you guy have any comments B&B?

Did you watch today's episode? So far, I have to say that B&B is giving us the best Christmas episodes of the CBS soaps, and it'll continue into tomorrow. They even had a Darla voiceover, which was neat.

Yeah, yesterday's episode was beyond incredible and I'm definitely taping today's episode! The whole Forrester family together is always a treat to see, I swear. And I ask again, why is Drew Tyler Bell NOT on contract? Ridge and Thorne ain't gonna be here forever!

So yesterday was a great show?

I’m already over the moon now that I’ve seen Wednesday’s show. It was a prime example what soap opera can be: Bill Bell must have been smiling from above the whole 30 minutes.

There wasn’t much movement storyline-wise but so much character interaction. It was exciting although nothing pivotal happened (well except for Ann heading to LA): Ridge reading to Hope & RJ, Thorne & Taylor decorating the Xmas tree, Eric & Stephanie talking about their children, Felicia gleaming on the prospect of Dante’s return from Italy...

Patrick Mulcahey simply wrote a divine script and all the actors ran with it. B&B is definitely on the way to one of it’s finest Xmas ever! And this is an accomplishment considering that every Christmas since 2003 has been outstanding in its own way...

Yeah, I think these are going to be three great holiday-rific days. It's a nice little holiday arc of Forrester Family Love. Now, if Sally could have been there, that would have been the cheery on top. But, I won't quibble.

I was surprised to hear them mentioning Sally AND CJ... We'll have to wait for DC to get better before Sally will be seen again. I wonder how it will take...

Yeah, I loved the Sally and CJ mention. It's nice that the acknowledge things like that because if they hadn't, I would have been depressed thinking that they had Sally alone somewhere celebrating the holiday all by herself.

D'oh! I forgot about Darlene Conley for a second. It was great that they mentioned them. We wouldn't want Sally celebrating alone.

I too have been enjoying B&B this week, but I'm fully prepared to drop the show at the end of the year. I don't expect this stuff to last, Brad Bell will fall back into his lazy, repetative traps. It's such a shame they didn't cast Ann with a daytime vet (Beverlee McKinsey?) who'd be willing to stay in the role for a more open ended period. It's great having the Douglas family represented, but with the fabulous Bette White they'll probably just kill her off to give closure.

WOW, the Darla voice-over was heart-breaking, indeed. I had no idea, really shocking moment to hear Schae Harrison’s voice. Absolutely love how B&B connects it’s normal storylines with the spirit of Xmas...

Can’t wait to see the real Xmas episode later on! :)

Ridge is such an ass! Sad Betty White breaks my heart :(

I've just caught up to Thursday's show.

First and foremost, Darla's voiceover was really very touching and I was surprised to hear it though it perhaps got a tad creepy towards the end. There was something Sheila-esque about SH's delivery as it went on "Mommy loves you...mommy will always love you". Brad Bell had a tendency in the 1990s to just forget people who had left or were dead but for some reason sentimentality's gotten the better of him and the show's all the richer for it. That said, how crass was Stephanie shoving in pictures of Thorne and Taylor? You've got Darla smiling on one page and then Thorne cosying up to her killer on the next...classy. I can't wait for a teenaged Allie to explain the album to all her friends.

Allie: That's my mom. That's dad and Taylor.

Friend: Wow uh...they look close. Didn't she uh...kill your mom?

Allie: Yeah but y'know, they waited three months. It was all very respectful.

Also (though I know the outcome will be moving) there's something hilariously callous about Eric's insistence on shoving Ann in Stephanie's face on Christmas Day. Obviously Bell's used dramatic license with the Christmas miracle thing but there really is a time and a place.

Other thoughts...I both love it and hate it that Patrick Mulcahey's episodes stand out so much. The dialogue is so incredibly realistic, witty and adult but it shows up some of the other SWs (Tracy Ann Kelly for example) as being bland. Jim Houghton's proven himself so they should make more use of him too.

Such a great episode today! I was hoping for more interaction with the family, but everything else was just incredible. I literally cried at the end when Stephanie forgave Ann! John McCook's singing was a little over the top, but it was all just so great. I'm glad I taped it!

Ridge is a nasty little !@#$%^&*]!!!!!!

OMG! Rejected Betty White looking back as the Forresters sang Christmas Carols. Devastating...

Alexandria reaching out to her. Beautiful!

Stephanie and Ann hugging it out at the end. FABULOUS!!!!!

Amazing episode!!!!

B&B clearly had the best Holiday Episode this year. Way above the rest. Such a wonderful moment after such family conflict.
