When is Roger Howarth's contract up on ATWT? I want him gone! Either recast Paul or write the character off. We have had way too much Roger Howarth on ATWT. I'm sick of the same damn people on screen everyday. When will Jean P. and Chris G. get the message??????????????????????

Although, as long as JP is HW, I doubt we'll be seeing any less of Paul or RH, since he seems to be Passanante's favorite character to write for.

I love Roger Howarth and I love his version of Paul. He's a good actor and brings some good sarcastic relief to the show. I'd much rather see Craig and Dusty go then Paul.

Well, he first appeared in 2003, so my bet is he just signed another three year contract.

Y'know...I don't especially like him, but he's much better "angry" than "romantic". They need to keep him away from women, period.

I think Paul is a lot better when he's involved w/ his family members. He really isn't that good w/ women: the only woman I liked him with was Meg in beginning. They need to make Paul gay and then pair him w/ Dusty or someone. Or maybe make him celibate.

I still love Paul, but I am tired of him, Dusty, Will, Gwen, Meg, Emily, Craig, & Lucy who seem like they are on every single day. And Carly & Simon are getting there. I can't stand them two together at all.

I don't think any of them have had a break in so long. Either their original story just keeps going or they go from one story right into another.

I love all the actors (except Spencer Grammer), but I don't want to see them everyday.

ITA, even though I like most of those characters, I am beyond tired of seeing them every single day. And it might not be so bad if they were actually given good stories, but they're not. They're all currently in boring, repetitive storylines that do nothing but make them irritating to viewers.

I'd love to have him back on OLTL. Trevor is okay, but Roger IS Todd.

Um, that's kind of what I implied, but whatever.

Paul gets the same bad writing everyone is getting on this show. Why I would like a recast is that RH's facial expressions are so off sometimes. I'm not sure why the directors don't change this, but they don't have time to redo scenes over and over. From his first scenes with James in 2003 until now, he has made so many wrong choices in his reactions and facial expressions. I no longer take Paul seriously. They wanted him to go darker, but IMO Paul Ryan has only gotten more wimpy over time.

And this Paul's romances have lead to the female counterparts either being killed off or turned psycho. I hope Meg is done with him for good before it's too late.

I think the bulk of the problem w/ Paul is that he's on all the damn time. Not to mention the writers can't seem to give the character an effing break. I like the whole concept of him becoming an anti-hero on the show b/c I think that when he was "nice" he was washed-out. But seriously...99% of the crap he does is ridiculous. If someone has that horrible of a life like he has, they should just never leave their house.

The writers need to put him in a new direction, and far away from pathetic women and lunatics. And oh yeah, send him to prison or Guam for a while....like a month or two.

I haven't heard anything about Roger Howarth signing a new contract, it would have been around July since he debuted in July 2003.
