Y&R: What one storyline would you like to see canned?/Which is your favorite storyline

I know alot of you have more than one storyline :P you would like to see canned, but which one do you feel is just so bad that it needs to go, for me the only bad thing on the show right now is the Brad reliquary storyline so that is my answer. I mean really that storyline was and still is the most stupidest thing I have ever seen on this soap, i am yet to see a point to it, and I don't think LML is getting to a point unless it will be 2 years from now, I just don't think I can take another 2 years of art talk from Brad, Vikki, Korbell, JT, and Collen.

My favorite storyline would have to be the new Kay and Jill storyline(I just hope it goes somewhere), it has been far to long since these two have had a storyline together, and I have been enjoying it and am looking forward to what is left to come with the storyline.

The Brad storyline needs to be canned. My favorite has to be the Winter's storyline.

HATE: Reliquary.

LIKE: The stuff with Jack, Ji Min, Victor, Nikki... is kinda interesting to me.

Say so long to Brad and his sad attempt to keep his boring past a secret...I'm beyond tired of this storyline because it died the minute Brad/George crushed that thug with his thighs.

I do not like the Brad storyline, its a waste.

I do like the potential of brining down Jack by Victor/Nikki. I am counting the days and hours of Summer from Phick cause I love anything dealing with Phick.

I like also like that the Winters are back in a full just not their new daugther In law.

1. The so-called murder mystery is pure crap, so I'd drop one in an instant. Oh wait, I'd first hire capable writers who maybe could spin sth. out of it...

2. I really like Brad being Jewish, this is interesting. But all this Nazi hunter and reliqzzzzzz waste of time needs to stop. And Victoria needs to finally stand up to Brad/George.

3. The whole story with Victor & Jack could be interesting, yet it is far from it. Same as 1.), better writing is needed.

Surprisingly, I still hate JT, but he has become tolerable now Colleen and Professor Corbell are sharing lust. Let's jump into it already. And let JT be Carmen's murderer to rid ourselves of this boring ass. ;)

The only stories I really like (Hah! So that has to be my favorite storyline... ;) ) are Mikey & Lauren & Baby and most of all the Kay & Jill. It's great seeing those folks front and centre and the story is still interesting. Let's see how long that lasts, the whole Billy gambling stuff was great and look where it went...

Actually look where a lot of stories have been going are are still headed to: NOWHERE. And not 'South of Nowhere' where the glamorous Maeve Quinlan of B&B-fame is heating things up, plain and simple nowhere.

Who said it was going to go on for another 2 years? Was that in SOD or SOW?

Honestly I like all the storylinrs. I think all the stories ar really lacking they all kould be more in depth but I dont disllike not one. To me any way they are all good. I think LKL is doing a good job. but we will see where we are at in a few weeks to a few months. I know I am pissed at Hogan. LEXIE come to Y&R

oh yea if there is anything I dont like is the new old lily, and them firing Ashy

That was just my opinion on the situation, it seems like LML likes to take her time on storylines, so I am just assuming that this storyline will be airing for a few more years, though I hope with all the hope in the world that it is not.

Canned: If I have to just pick one, I guess I'll go with the Brad story. That story is one hot mess: the reliquary-zzzz, Brad's killer thighs, Professor Borell, the dumbing down of Victoria, J.T. the Wannabe Detective, the art history lessons, etc. This story is like some hybrid info-tainment/mystery gone bad.

There are acutal storylines going on? I've been so bored by all these people jumping around and having pointless conversations about pointless things.

Tie:

Who Killed Carmen Mesta...more like, Who the [!@#$%^&*] Cares Who Killed Carmen Mesta.

And

Reliqueery.

I think the Brad storyline could be better -- wish they would focus more on the aspects that Victoria doesn't really know the man she married -- even though we've known Brad all along. It seems like every time they start to go there, the writers pull back.

I figure the Carmen mystery will wrap up eventually, so I'm looking at it as a way that brings the Winters front and center. I do like that there are so many "suspects" -- even though it is a bit contrived.

Love Victor/Nikki setting up Jackie for a well-deserved fall. Starting to become intrigued by the Kay mystery. I do enjoy the Baldwin family -- particulary Michael and Lauren.

See my point above.

In most "cases" there is no built-up and those "stories" lead nowhere... <_<

Here's another problem with Y&R that this week's SOW pointed out in their "Hit... or Miss!" column: there are too many stories revolving around unsolved mysteries right now.

The biggest mystery on The Young and the Restless these days isn't "Who Killed Carmen?" It's "What's up with all these other mysteries on the show?"

What's Professor Korbel hiding? What's with Katherine and the crying baby? Is Brad a killer? Who's Michael's father? What's Will's deal? Is Victor faking it? Is Phyllis Sheila? Who's Jana?

It's overkill.

And it's exhausting. Does every character except Zapato have to have a secret? (Or does he have a skeleton in his doghouse, too?) All these question marks dilute the Carmen mystery. When a viewer is trying to figure out everything on a show, it diverts attention from the best mystery of all.

What's worse, who really cares who Korbel is, what else Brad is hiding, who Michael's father is, what Will's deal is, or who that chick with the funny accent and hair is?

In the show's defense, fans do care about Katherine, Victor and Sheila/Phyllis, but when so many mysteries are playing out at the same time, they all blur together.

And on a show this good, that's criminal.
