My god, Genie is so bloody SWEET and adorable. I can't stand to see her knowing she'll be leaving It made me realise something, the show is so bleak without her. By being Sonny's show primarily, we really have been experiencing a kind of manic depressive perception of Port Charles. I mean i absolutely adore Skye beyond belief, but even Skye has her negative points that make her as depressed as the rest of em sometimes... but Laura is just like some force of good, that makes me feel happy! Its good to know people like Laura exist in the real world, i can think of a few types of this rare kind of woman, namely Audrey Hepburn.

I think a lot of fans will be devastated when she leaves again in a few weeks. Its only been a few days and she's made such an impact.

She does have this way of bringing a bright spot to such a bleak show.

Let her leave before they ruin Laura like they're ruined nearly every other character on the show! Chances are they will kick her to the curb once her usefulness is over.

Yeah, it's true that Genie shines bright on this bleak, depressing show. I'm down to watching two or three times a week at this point.

Add my name to the list of people worshipping Genie's poignantly brief return.

She just shines with heart, feeling and love in every scene. Why the IIC view her as so expendable is utterly beyond me.

ETA: I am DESPERATE to know how this week's day-to-day ratings are going to look.

Laura couldn't be more ruined than she was 4 years ago. That was definitely a low point for the character.

I've almost become brainwashed, but luckily, seeing Genie's Laura on Monday's show made me realize... she is the heart of this show. If anything, even in Frons' warped manner of thinking, this show needs a matriarch -- and Laura Wright's Character ain't it.

I LOVED Laura and Lulu's scenes. I love how Luke actually show's color and depth to his character around Laura. Genie grounds Tony Geary's excess, as she does the rest of the show. It almost becomes real, again.

Genie brings the soul back to GH. She is the heart of it and honestly the whole thing just lights up like the rockerfeller center tree at christmas. She brightens this show soo damn much and it's soo needed. I feel wamth when Genie is there and I agree GH is much too dark and Genie brings some life back to this black dark hole of a show that the mob boys have created over the years.

It would be nice if they could get her to stay, her and Tony Geary are the reason why I am hooked on GH. I remember watching them when I was a kid with my grandmother every day afterschool, but I dont think they will keep her, I think like most of you do this is just the latest ratings stunt and its too bad because there in no couple on any soaps who have the chemistry and the magic Genie and Tony have and while I am glued to my set every day at 3pm to watch those two, I know when its over it will go back to being what it was before, mostly gloom and doom.

I adore Genie Francis. This show desperately needs her. She truly is the heart and soul of GH.

No no no, the fact that she's been so good for the show is why she shouldn't stay. Not unless they get rid of a) the current hacks and Sonny & Mob. They'd totally use her to prop Sonny and gang.

I will miss Genie, but she's better off not being on GH full time, cause they'd end up ruining Laura for good
