McTavish loves Dixie. Tad and Dixie are like her couple and I am positive that she'd put them back together in a heartbeat if their weren't other factors at work. Sure she is made a mess of Dixie but Cady has provisions to return... it wasn't just gonna be the same old same old. So that has to be taken into account...

I've read that she loves T&D, but the way she has Dixie drooling over Zach it's hard to believe she ever loved T&D

Like I said, Cady requested to work with other people (i.e Thorsten Kaye).... Megan can't write good stories when she is controlling it so obviously when she is being told to write stuff she is gonna suffer even more.

With the parting of Reggie, she's now singehandedly gotten rid of the last remaining new character created by the Rayfield-Cascio regime who were ousted by Megan's return. Reggie, Boyd, Lena, Michael, etc. Damn it!

Aidan is a Richard Culliton creation. Culliton created Trey Kenyon. Aiden Turner auditioned for the role and Judy Blye Wilson and Jean Dadario Burke, while thinking he was wrong for the role, still thought he was right for the show, so Culliton created the role of Aidan Devane because at the time "it was cool to have an accent on the show" -- his words on Soap Talk.

Richard Culliton created the character. Then Rayfield/Cascio showcased "Maiden" (Maureen/Maria and Aidan), and then McTavish put him together with Mia. Snooze. Then Anita. Snooze. Then Erin. Snooze. Then Di. Snort... snooooooze.

Megan would destroy both Kendell and Babe for a story IMO. She has done it previously with Kendell being Ryan and Greenlee's bestfriend while they kick at her or if she destorys Babe by making her keep Miranda from Bianca.

Megan simply destroys all. Even her favorites. Simply because she is soo horny for huge reveals and plot points.

Anyone who denies that Megan loves to write for Kendall is just...well...I don't know what to say. Kendall has been constantly on the frontburner THE ENTIRE TIME since she returned in 2002, four and a half years ago. She's had like 9 or 10 different love interests/sex buddies in that time. She's constantly being painted as a victim when, many times, she deserves equal blame for the stuff that happens to her.

If you say that about Babe, people will tell you that they agree and that it's the truth, but say it about Kendall, and it's overreacting.

If you're being written by Megan McTavish in the past year or so their is about a 99.6% chance you're being written badly (especially after year 2 of her, but likely after year 1) if she loves you, your character or not. If she's nuts about your character that's the most dangerous thing with her actually, IMO, the non-subtle thing can backfire and usually has.

McTavish is nuts about the characters of Babe and Ryan, meaning she desires to get them seen "as doing no wrong" even when they're absolutely being jerks and when it backfires she throws a throw away line about their behavior once or twice and paints them as incredibly noble. Josh/Jonathan are sort of almost there, time and consistency will tell. But hopefully there isn't too much more time.

Oh yeah I think she loves Kendall. I think she loves Tad and Dixie (her signature couple to a point, even though I'm gonna give LB credit for their starter years that got me addicted). I think she loves Erica, Adam, Bianca, Krystal, etc... I think in most of these cases she likes these character but it's not on the insane level. It's on the "I can hack you or fluff you according to my mood...but I do care about ya" level.

The difference is Babe kidnaps a baby and Bianca goes to court and says Babe equals the meaning of love after barely a week of anger. Babe kidnaps a baby for almost a year and they twist complex JR into the son of a satan with hair and mustache and a chorus of dozens of characters singing it to match to show it's somehow "his" fault Babe is a kidnapping shrew. Babe is staying at a company she got out of revenge because she kidnapped a baby yet she's lecturing people on pushing boundaries to gaina cceptance with saintly music surrounding her. The only characters that really get to dislike her for the baby thing that were considered not-so-evil (but "evil") were Kendall/Erica.

While McTavish does eventually have Kendall's back so to speak - Ryan was doing just as bad things to Kendall as she was doing to him back in the day, and in a lot of cases doing it worse and first - yet he's painted as righteous and put upon by almost every character in town and the writing while she's painted as a crazy shrew -which she was written as - torturing him with her evil. Now that Ryan (and Greenlee) came off worse was purely accident and not the purpose of the writing, IMO, hacking-n-fluffing gone wrong so to speak. Ditto with Ryan's abuse gone bad story, that was suppose to come off a lot more sympathetic and complex and big thespian chance then it did. Until JR almost killed Kendall, Kendall would be spat upon for not just adoring Babe's place on the planet. Back in just March, April she was making Kendall a really obnoxious shrew to suffice plots she wanted to. Now when push comes to shove, McT does pull back from twisting up Kendall, but I'm just saying it may be love but it ain't that kind of love.

Jacob/JR gets...well use to (until she got into this Babe/Josh kick) get a lot of air-time and nobody can tell me she loves JR, lol, and you'd think she would - that's sort of Tad/Dixie's baby in a way.

IMO.. You are right, Kendall has been front burner, and you know I can't tell you if it is the fact that she can act, or that I just like her better, but her being front burner didnt make me gag..

But Ryan and Babe they make me gag.

Now as for Kendall and everything she done, yep she has, but she pays for it..
