The past two weeks without Laura Wright was sheer bliss! I didn't miss her or her character at all. There weren't any voids in the stories created by her absence, and the flow continued without missing a beat. Laura Wright and Jax are fine together. My use for Jax has always been minimal, so I don't care one bit if he's paired with Laura Wright's character. It was good not having to see Laura Wright [!@#$%^&*] up Liason or Alexis' illness disclosure. I'm sure Alexis' Lung Cancer would've somehow been shifted to focus on Laura Wright's character. And I'm sure Jason and Liz's union would've had the spotlight on Laura Wright. Also, Ric and Sam's ONS would've had Laura Wright's two cents as well. I already know that Laura Wright's character is going to be the saving grace in the Lulu storyline. Laura Wright will have all the answers and Lulu will see exactly what she needs to do thanks to Laura Wright.

I agree that Carly/LW would have somehow come into play in all of these stories, but i disagree with you when it comes to Lulu. I think its great to actually see some type of family interaction. Rarely do we see family interaction in the Spencer family, with the exception of Lucky and Luke. Recently we have seen more interaction but thats because of Lulu's pregnancy, I do think that the fact that the writers are acknowledging that Carly is a Spencer is a good thing. Before the only family interaction we saw was centered around Sonny and his family, its refreshing to see more of the families of PC. The only thing that would make it better would be to see more of the Webber/Hardy family as well as the Q's more often.
