  1. Poor Equalizer. How do you go from getting a multi-year renewal to being cut so soon after.
  2. Okay sounds nice. I consider myself a dash of Annelle, Truvy, and Louisa.
  3. Steel Magnolias is one of my favorite films. Be nice! @Franko Can we add criticism of our own, or just from movie critics?
  4. It is. Tyler could be a real power player, that studio should be real competition for the other studios. Just imagine Tyler Perry presents 'MOONLIGHT', 'GET OUT', 'SINNERS'? He is taking the easy way out.
  5. I agree, it could work. There are a few ways that it could work TBH. I would buy Leslie growing up in a dysfunctional home and longing to be a part of a more powerful family and/or more loving family.
  6. The thought has crossed my mind. Tricia Mann-Grant did say in her EW interview w/ MVJ and DD, that Leslie wants to be a Dupree just as bad as she wants Eva to be. I believe now that's the direction they are going in, that maybe she is just obsessed with the family. I could be wrong though.
  7. I loved those scenes, lol. I thought I was watching a stage play. But I do hear what you're saying.
  8. The AMC hate came from Jamey Giddens/DC and their industry friends, IMO. For whatever reason I always felt they targeted the show, and it was wrong. AMC ratings were decent and even went up under Pratt (Yet, he was fired). The ratings were also good under Broderick and lowered out after her interim. There was no reason to be upset with the show other than it being slow. They literally played it safe and did the best they could in 2010 and 2011.
  9. Me too! I don't think enough fir ne to watch this though. Thanks.
  10. And that's where Angela lost me, lol. I actually was on her side cause she was being ganged up on. But her choice of words with Brit wasn't right, I mean she was more pleasant to Porsha.
  11. I never had much of a problem with Brandon Claybon's performance as Martin. He has gotten much better though. While I enjoy his confrontational scenes, I must say his lighter, and carefree scenes from Thursday's episode are the ones that stood out most in the last 3 days (to me). I agree with all of this!
  12. TBH, I would accept it either way, but I believe Eva would be much more fascinating without blood relatives right now.
  13. I was ok with how Nicole handled herself today but once she face off with Leslie again will hopefully be a different Nicole. I am wondering how Kat will interact with Men going forward. She already comes off as guarded, so this should be interesting.
  14. I couldn't have agreed more about her being in the majority of episodes. She has been a great lead and foundation, and truly the heart of the show!
  15. I do actually. Nicole seems like the forgiving type; plus she is a Psychiatrist. It is probably easy for her to be sympathetic. Absolutely agree.
  16. Correct. And she left Eva alone and vulnerable just like she was 20 plus years ago.
  17. I kinda think that's the point, Leslie isn't logical; she is very unhinged. She's probably mad at Eva turning on her in front of the Duprees. They need each other but I do want to see Eva form a family unit away from Leslie.
  18. I liked Brit's family scenes. It gave me much insight that things go much deeper than just some husband jealously, and business disagreements. It actually reminded me of Kandi and Mama Joyce cause i feel thay also have a similar unhealthy bond since losing Kandi's brother. I am not jumping on "I LOVE ANGELA" train. She is reminding me too much of Kenya and I find it inauthentic; things feel too staged. I see her game. I hate that Shamea and Porsha are about to fall out. Are Gizelle and Robyn the only real friends to grace Housewives? SAD.. This season seems all over the place. A lot of the scenes feel so empty and hollow.
