  1. So, ideally, who should be writing the shows? And, I begin to see why so many writers fought with other writers about Fi-Core in the past. Why do so many do it, then?
  2. It seems to me that they're following a process, that they're doing it the right way & that it is a necessary evil. I agree that they are scabs. That's just definitional. In the past soap writers wrote the shows, were scabs & did all sorts of cloak & dagger to get away with it. Is Fi-Core not better? Okay. I'll have to mull that over. Thank you, though.
  3. There's a petition now. Petition · Fire Albert Alarr · Change.org
  4. It seems to me that she's attacking Fi-Core writers.
  5. Yes. She wouldn't listen. Then she blocked about a dozen people. Indirectly it comes up because she then speaks of writers working on struck projects. Soaps aren't.
  6. @LisaAnnWalter Apparently she is outraged that soap writers are writing the show & that the show is in production, etc.
  7. I am really disgusted that a primetime actress is calling for people to stop watching GH!
  8. It's the way I think, too. And, yes, I may think "old school".
  9. Good one! I threw out the ball & you ran with it. I am hearing that Alarr doesn't like Dee now, also. I knew he had favorites.
  10. RIP Sinéad O'Connor
  11. OMG I just saw this. Just last Friday night I was listening to the opening of S7 of OUTLANDER because she's featured. Man oh man. This would've been her latest work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qrwJDR6bzs
  12. FINALLY! Michael Fairman is covering the story. Days of our Lives’ Co-Executive Producer Albert Alaar Investigated for Misconduct – Michael Fairman TV
  13. Corday Productions Reveals Measures Taken for a "Safe and Respectful Work Environment" - Daytime Confidential Hmm Let's see. Flabbergasted. Dumbfounded. What would Betty Corday do? #FIREALARR
  14. @carolineg I remember that Deidre adored Greg.
  15. Is this the picture they took for the GH60 stuff? I just grabbed this off yesterday's show opening because she looks so good.
  16. Well, I think of Paul Rauch & of Joe Stuart & they are men. And Wuhrer did have a lawsuit, but I've never heard anyone accuse Jill of inappropriate language or anything sexual at all. Now she might have made the workplace uncomfortable for some people, sure, if for no other reason because she fired 11 people. But nothing like this that I know of, anyway.
  17. You're right. This would make a great tell all memoir! If you've got to live through a horrid experience, get a good story out of it. At this point I am hoping that more people have made solid connections with Peacock. One of the directors is a friend & I've reached out to him just to say how sorry I am that they're all having to go through this. Just human to human.
  18. Possibly she may also be glad not to have had any undue attention from Alarr! I imagine that all of them who have missed his inappropriateness are grateful, and keep their heads down.
  19. At the time I thought it was probably an issue of redundancy. Now I think it was a calculated move on Allarr's part to be able to control the narrative. Like most weasels. he is sly.
  20. Oh, sure, I completely understand why they haven't addressed her death yet, nor should they till after the strike. It's just one of those moments in story which would've been perfect, is all.
  21. Yes, there's where she tweeted to me that they had.
  22. I'm going to be disappointed if she doesn't make a statement. But, Sony is just their distributor. It's up to Corday to fire him. And, it may be up to Peacock to make him. Sony has no power, no authority, no ownership. There may be a problem with Peacock. Al has been the point man with Peacock ever since BS2.
  23. And fans point out that it hasn't always been that way. There used to be so very many women in management of the soaps, all of them!
