They built up this Sonny vs Ava custody battle for all this time just to have them randomly settle on 50/50 before even going to court? What a waste. I did like the Ric and Ava/Sonny & Kristina scenes afterward though and if this gets Kristina to go fully unhinged I’m here for it. Wasn’t expecting a Sidwell and Lucas chemistry test lol but it tracks with his flamboyance. Ugh @ him getting involved with Deception but I’m actually curious to see more of him and Natalia now that its confirmed he’s her ex. The Alexis and Jason scenes didn’t move me much but I’m glad she acknowledged her hypocrisy in wanting Cyrus dead after the decades of ragging on Jason for his kill penchant. Molly and Cody and Sasha and the PI continued to bore me and the Lulu and Kristina scene propping Dante and Sam’s relationship felt like a time waster.

Its nice to even have a line up of soaps on one network that can be promoted together again.

Is there a reason the show moved so firmly away from Sonny and Nina? I really liked their scene at Bobbie’s today, it was better than any of the crap we’ve gotten with Sonny and Natalia. Molly being saddled with Cody is unfortunate. I’m not seeing any chemistry and its making me check out of her scenes when she’s been one of my favorites. Ric and Ava are 🔥 and I loved Nina’s digs at him. The scenes with Sonny interrupting them should be good tomorrow. Also loved Ric’s scenes with Elizabeth and her having Jason’s back with Chase. Anna needs to clean up her whole squad they’re insubordinate and bad at their jobs. Her last scene with Jason was intense and I don’t blame her for arresting him. Sasha and the PI was a snooze but I did laugh at the PI calling her dumb and then getting in a car wreck at the end. Which is a shame because they had better chemisty. Of the chem tests we’ve seen they should have put Cody with Lulu and Molly with Isaiah IMO.

Steve McFadden deserves all of the awards, what an amazing performance in todays episode.

The age gap bothers me especially after they flashed back to Jason holding Michael as a baby. 🤢 I actually love the use of simple misunderstanding for a plot jump start with the right characters. Cody unfortunately already wasn’t working for me when they were using Tracy, James, Sasha and the rest of the Scorpio/Jones clan to prop him up as a hero, this hard turn toward being sanctimonious and self destructive is even worse. I really hope Josh Kelly’s contract is up soon and they ship the character off tbh.

This Sasha & Jason story is such a bad retread and gross considering her age and involvement with Michael. They never should have had her so adamant about not wanting the child in the middle of Quatermaine drama and Sonny’s mob violence if this is where they were headed, it makes Sasha look like an idiot.

I enjoyed Lulu working at Bobbie’s because it finally gave us scenes with her and Joss and AH finally got to play some fun instead of screeching over Charlotte. I wish they’d do a scene with Carly forcing all of the Spencer’s to start picking up shifts. I love Lulu and Dante together too. They showcased a lot of good potential couples these last two episodes which is good because the show was sorely lacking in that department for months. I really liked Lucky and Liz dancing at the end, Kristina and Isaiah bonding, Trina and Kai, Emma and Gio scenes too. I did laugh at Emma pointing Dante and Gio’s eyelashes being an anvil drop though. Josslyn playing Nancy Drew and giving Anna hell by going after Cyrus has been entertaining too I like this kind of role for her. Tracy dragging Willow and trying to get Lila’s ring back was great, the trollop should definitely hand it over at this point. The Tracy and Alexis/Nina and Willow scenes were nice too even though Nina is foul for not just saying she was boinking Drew I like the mother daughter bond they have now. I am off the Carly and Jack train. Not feeling the chemistry at all and Chris McKenna lacks that charming shady agent quality. I’m cool with Brennan getting the generic bad guy heave ho in a few months. Maxie getting on his head for stealing Frisco’s job was funny but Lucas is too old to be cockblocking Carly like this This Jason and Sasha stuff is so stupid and annoying, I did like their scene with Danny though as well as Jason and Kai threatening Cyrus. Martin getting on Anna for her Jason bias was good too

This is amazing, guess I’ll be dropping GH live viewing earlier than I expected. Rest in PISS. I hope the spirit of Irna Phillips hunts Les Moonves and Barbara Bloom for eternity Victoria was recurring on a CBS prime time series not too long ago I don’t think there is any beef with those two.

Love hearing about the writers room and their process Seeing the CBS/Paramount steaming pages launch really makes it all real. They’re going up against GH in my market as well so that show will be strictly a Hulu weekend binge watch for me going forward.

Heather Locklear’s episode of Still The Place is hilarious 😂 the fact she and Jack Wagner used to call David Charvet “But um” because he always had to pause and think to remember his lines had me 💀

I enjoyed Person Place or Thing but they moved it to an earlier time right before GMA3 in my area so I no longer could watch. I only sat through Pictionary when it was sandwiched between PPT and 25 Words or Less in the game show line up that airs after GH in my market, wasn’t a fan tbh I didn’t know Dish Nation was even still a thing

I expect Holden to be gone soon and we’ll get an announcement about Bryton when they feel the coast is clear.

I do wonder if Bradley is preparing Heather Tom and Lawrence Saint Victor for a succession plan show-runner wise.

That NYT profile was great. God bless Sheila Ducksworth for working so hard to make this happen. Reading that the CEO of CBS/Paramount George Cheeks is such a champion for soap operas and has been a driving force for the shows development even before any of the other partners got involved is extremely reassuring as well

Definitely for the best in Corrie’s case. I often look at my phone halfway through episode wondering how much time is left because the full show can feel longer than it should especially when the episodes are mid. Eastenders never feels that way

Today’s episode was really good. Kudos to the production team for the Platt family home burning sequence Abi, Toyah, Max, Hope, and LeeAnne have been insufferable for months so I feel no ways about how they end up in the aftermath of all this I love how they’ve been writing Sarah since Gail’s exit. The scene with Todd talking about the baby they lost was sweet even though it doesn’t land the same way with the recast of him

The Lulu and Dante scenes were really good today, I’m glad he told her he doesn’t blame her for Sam’s death. AH and DZ match each other very well performer wise. I enjoyed Emma’s scenes with Maxie, Sasha and Gio but unfortunately they’ve put her in the same trap as the rest of the younger cast where she’s too busy involving herself in elder characters mess instead of stirring up her own. The Scorpio clan is a mouth running bunch, I can’t at her being so ready to tell Robin and Robert about the wrong assumption of Jason being Sasha’s baby daddy 😂 Sasha’s not wanting to clear it up to Maxie is pretty stupid Glad to see Quinn return. His little fight with Trina over Kai had some spark but unfortunately this story has worn out its welcome for me. I do not care. Laura and Jordan warning Lucky and Isaiah about Sidwell was also not all that interesting to me. They seem to be trying to play Lucky telling Jason not to kill Sidwell during their caper as some angst for him but 😴 why haven’t we gotten anymore material with him and Aidan? Once again this regime is allergic to the interesting story they could be playing with a long term legacy characters return. If Brook Lynn realizes Gio is her lost child because of his birthday being the same I’m gonna laugh, sorry Alexis breaking down with Sonny rang pretty dry as well. NLG couldn’t even muster a tear and MB was doing his usual blank stare performance. Mediocre episode overall.

Yup. Evan Hofer randomly mentioned it in one of his exit interviews when asked about potentially coming back as another character. I wanna say it was the one with Michael Fairman. I hated Martin sounding like Foghorn Leghorn but in the case of Lois I’m glad they reverted back.

Talks about his long history with Laura Wright, Frank, and other crew members and also mentions getting a letter from Erika Slezak about joining GH No talk about the accent but I know Frank was the main one pushing to get rid of Lois and Martin’s so maybe the Aussie sound gets dropped Lol well I still like Cameron for the most part though he did piss me off for how weak he was during Sam’s death. I would like to see all three of Alan’s sons on canvas for a bit.

I’m sad we’re losing Charles Measure. He’s been one of Laura Wright’s best chemistry pairings and took what should have been a useless disposable character and gave him legs. 🤦🏾‍♂️ I like Chris McKenna and was actually thinking he’d be a good AJ recast if they wanted one. I’ll give him a chance but 😕

CBS aired a promo during the Grammys, the investment in promotion still shocks me

The frantic editing pace is why so little of the show sticks with you when its over. Frank probably used the Mulcahey ratings bleed to ensure we never get scenes longer than 40 seconds per segment ever again. I get that making them shorter compliment the production model that keeps the show under budget but there has to be a better way to structure the episodes. How can I start vibing with Trina and Kai’s chemistry or truly feel for Brook Lynn’s angst over hiding a secret child when the scenes are chopped up and soundtracked with loud pots and pans music?

This is surprising, Y&R usually maintains a three black men maximum. 💀

This is 🔥 and great we get to see more focus on individual characters. The beauty shots of the actors make me wanna crack open Adobe and play with opening credit ideas lol Other than big casting news and seasonal previews I try to avoid spoilers for all shows because it takes away from the enjoyment factor for me. Once BTG actually begins airing if its not in the weekly promo or casting news I’m not trying to see it. For those who can’t see the promo on TVLine
