I only got into the show back in January when TeenNick did that Every Degrassi Ever marathon. Loved seasons 3-6, hated 1-2, & 7-8, but I'm likin season 9 and season 10 sounds promising. I agree with you about the freshman characters, but for some reason I still find all of them more interesting than the older ones(with the exception of Holly J). I only liked Peter when he was with Darcy; Sav, Anya, Riley, Chantay, and Danny are all boring as hell, Jane was ruined for me after she cheated on Spinner, and Declan and Fionna have no business being on this show about a public school in Canada IMO.

I'm pretty sure South was still the EP in season 5.

That's why I hated season 7. It was so boring, and the stories that could've potentially been good(Val faking a pregnancy, David being bipolar, )were so poorly plotted and acted that I just couldn't care. Everyone was so annoying that season too(especially Clare, who turned into an obnoxious bitch). I agree about Brenda, she got especially tiresome in season 4. I could never hate her though because of ShanDoh and the fact that Kelly was so damn annoying and smug.

I hate seasons 7(series worst IMO), 9, and 10, but seasons 5,6, & 8 were great IMO.

I recommend The Gentle Art of Listening Isn't It Romantic? B.Y.O.B Slumber Party Spring Dance Home Again Everything else is boring and not worth watching IMO.

I don't get why everyone's hating on this. I think it's entertainingly over the top and campy. No where near as great as Bad Romance, but still fun.

I love this show, it's my secret little guilty pleasure lol. Nina Dobrev is I don't get the hate she gets from some folks(never watched Degrassi TNG). Same goes for Paul Wesley. I think these two are great leads and I'm diggin their chemistry. I like Damon, but I hope he isn't gonna be killing folks at the beginning of every episode. OMFG at the end of episode 2! Hopefully he didn't kill Caroline cause I'm diggin her too. Bonnie's another one of my favs. It'll be interesting to see how her psychic powers develop. Can't wait for Also lovin the Aunt. Couldn't care less about the two druggies, the guy who played Ozzie on 90210 or Elena's ex. The teacher guy is a douche too.

ITA! I was really liking them til the episode "Violated" where all of a sudden they're so in love. I just felt so rushed. I will say though, Rebecca Gayheart was fine as hell, and her and Luke's chemistry was off the charts(it just the writing wasn't there). Oh, I love that episode(Donna and the nun were hillarious), and again, ITA about Val & Kelly. Out of all the 90210 characters, Val seemed to be the only one able to put Kelwhore in her place(for some reason, even on the new 90210, Brenda is never allowed to get the last word).

I've been watching s6 since it came out on DVD(this was the season where I first started tuning out), and I'm lovin it! The season is so much better without Dylan, Toni, and Ray IMO. The Val/Kelly feud is great(it's funny how tolerable Kelly is with out Brenda around). Susan Keats(Brandon's girlfriend, and really lame Andrea clone) sucks! Steve & Clare, Val & David are great! The only things I don't like about this season are the awful rewrites(Turns out Rush really is your dad Steve, in every sense of the word ) and Kelly's lesbian haircut.

I've been rewatching 90210 s5 too. It get's better after the Halloween ep, but after the Mexican adventure with Jonsey, Val, and Dylan , the season starts to go downhill real fast. It gets worse toward the end.

Tuesdays premiere was very disappointing IMO. So predictable, and the new ADA sucks!

I was hoping they'd pull a "Gabrielle's Hope' story with Livvie too. IMO that whole arc could have been so much better. And I hated it when they brought Casey back and got rid of Marrisa. I liked her and Jamal together.

I watched the first disc of 90210 s5 and I must say I remember the season opener being bad, but not that bad. It didn't get good until the end with Valerie smokin a joint in her room. The second episode is better but I don't like how all of the sudden Val is so chummy with the gang, I mean she just met Andrea and she's going to her babies party, and taping it, WTF? And I wish Jennie Garth would have been able to get over her happiness that Shannen was gone long enough to actually act during the first couple of episodes. Any time someone said Brenda, she would get this annoying smirk on her face and then giggle slightly. And now I remember why I was so glad when Dylan left, he turned into such a whiny little bitch in s5. Oh and the last two episodes on the first disc are definitely must see!

My wife is in love with this show. It's the only soap she'll watch actually. I've tried getting into it but I just can't.

Re watching the fist 3 seasons, Kelly and Dylan were always hinted at. Especially in the first two seasons, where Kelly is obviously jealous of Brenda and her relationship with Dylan.

How did everybody like Jane? Mostly everyone I talk too about MP seems to hate her and Allison. Personally I loved both.

One JHC has always been good at is hiring great music composers.

Thats actually when I started tuning out. Non of of the characters I liked were still of on the the show. And the storied had gotten old and repetitive IMO.

Oh well your in for a treat, the special features are great. They've got interviews with Charles Rosin, The Chick who played Donna's mom, and Carol Potter(Cindy). I won't talk about some of the other special features cause then I'd be spoiling the season for you. Oh and "A Pig Is A Boy Is A Dog", and "Time Has Come Today" are must see episodes. And "Take Back The Night".

Quick question, why the heck did they interview that chick who played Jo(Steve's friend from NY) when she only appeared in two episodes? I thought that was pretty dumb. And have you gotten finished with all the episodes yet? I'm on the last disk.

I've got all four that have been released. My wife suprised me with season four Thursday. You?
