  1. I’m not familiar with Nina and Lulu’s history but I loved them going at it today lol. Nina couldn’t care less about the coma and let her know ASAP 😂 Lulu hanging up on Erica Kane was a nice wink wink nod nod as well. I loved the Carly and Brennan confrontation, he looked legitimately hurt by her betrayal which seemed to actually shake her. I loved Carly coming to retrieve Lulu and their reunion scenes were kind of awkward but the last shot with them about to interrogate Brennan was 🔥 I didn’t think there was any Carly propping here and I also see certain fans are still trying to push the “Carly and Lulu weren’t close” outrage but the show has gone out of its way to address that at this point. Seems like folks are complaining just to complain now. Sasha and Maxie scenes were nice. I loved the family support and the tension when Willow interrupted leading to Maxie ranting about how Elizabeth blamed her for everything that went down with Lucky and the summer of sleaze was funny. Give me my Luxie reunion mane! Felicia taking Maxie’s kids Christmas tree shopping leading to a random frat bro fight that ends with Dex getting stabbed was good stuff, I was entertained lol. Loved Felicia playing detective here and it was clearly Cyrus running amok again. Curtis setting a trap for Drew is the most interesting he’s ever been since I’ve seen him. Drew clearly views him as a simp lackey because he’s not even trying to placate him for real. 😂 Drew deserves whatever he gets. LOL at Willow wanting to tell Michael about the affair after Christmas. Boy does she have a storm coming 💀 I’m over Brad stalking Lucas. Portia had it right with him, kind of wish he was the one who filled Sam’s bag with digitalis instead so he’d be off my screen soon. Just not a fan of the actor, character, or his little antics. Trina is annoyed Kai actually did his half of the project and did it well…yeah okay she’s grating on my nerves too at this point.
  2. Lucky and Elizabeth are so good when he’s not being a bum. Him singing the Elizabeth and them flashing back to the Og moment was good nostalgia I love all of their scenes today. It really did take Ric reading Alexis for her to start showing Molly real support 😂 glad to see the change though. Kristina running a bar…yawn. Joss, Dex, Trina and Violin going tree shopping, double yawn but I liked Dex vs Cyrus. Not surprised Cyrus was Sam’s killer but the reveal was good. I hope they have a strong motivation for why he did it. Looking forward to Lulu going off on Nina tomorrow
  3. You can also tell Bradford misses Guza 😂
  4. No, they post episodes early on the Daily Drama website exclusively every Sunday for free before the YouTube uploads on Wednesday. I really enjoy when they have Laura Wright on because she always lets it fly when it comes to the mechanics of the show. Her laughing at Sasha going from model to Quartermaine cook and having tragedy after tragedy was hilarious. The shooting schedule sounds insane and performance stifling but I appreciate that its the reason we see so many sets.
  5. I agree with all of this. I’ve come to hate Kristina but she provokes a visceral reaction that I actually enjoy as a viewer. They seem to be intentionally taking the character down a darker path and I like it, I’m hoping that convo she had with Sonny a few weeks back leads to a full out mafia princess transition. Sonny needs an heir since they killed Morgan off, Michael’s a Quartermaine pansy and the two other daughters are too young and irrelevant. Kristina with her bonus Cassadine genes seems like the right choice to me and Mansi plays cold unhinged bitch better than anything else they have given her.
  6. Slight spoilers can be read from screenshots of a script from this BTS video
  7. They need to let Molly smack Kristina, that dig at the end of today saying Molly wasn’t really IRENE’s mother was so nasty. I’m glad Ava went free as expected and Sonny and Alexis vs Ric and Ava was good stuff. They’re clearly pivoting to the Avery custody battle quickly. Stella was right about Portia being unprofessional but I can’t stand Brad and hate her being used to prop him. Ew at him succeeding at adding himself to the seminar retreat group so he can stalk Lucas. Do they just rework the same Deception script every time they’re featured? I’m glad Lois finally killed her proper accent but they need to come up with a new plot for this group ASAP. Trina and Kai are getting a little repetitive for me and Tabyana Ali seems really nervous in their scenes in a way that makes her acting stiff. I still like Kai’s actor though and I hope they start building his character backstory some more.
  8. Loved the Lulu and Laura reunion. Genie Francis really excels at this kind of stuff and once again AH showed she’ll have no problem matching the acting talent of the Spencer fam vets. I’m glad Lulu slick got on Laura for letting Cyrus creep around her and loved when she went into full mama bear mode when she found out about Charlotte. I hope she lights Anna up when the time comes. Kevin asking “who’s Ace” was funny, I wish they would find something interesting for Jon Lindstorm to do instead of babysit. I’m glad Anna was beating herself up over letting Valentine go free and I honestly wish Jason would have told her to piss off but that’s not his character and capers seem to be the go-to Jason plot for this regime. I liked the Dante/Cody/Brook Lynn scenes even if they were a bit contrived. The group does have a nice chemistry and Brook Lynn’s shady reaction to Lulu being awake made me laugh. I’m honestly not mad at where this plot is clearly headed with the random camp backstory mention, I just hope they play the beats and drama properly Molly and Alexis paralleling TJ/Jordan/Curtis was good stuff. I really feel for both Molly and TJ with this breakup and Molly crying over missing Sam towards the end was sad. I enjoyed the Ric and Ava scenes but I’m curious where they will go after this trial is finished. Ric still fits in fine on the canvas but I feel like Ava had more legs going full heel than she does now. I guess they will play the custody battle for Avery but then what else is there to do with Ava? All of their characterizations are so paper thin you’d think they were 3 month newbies still being workshopped on the canvas. I can’t believe these folks have been around for as long as they have and still got 0 definitive traits.
  9. Alexa Havins and Jonathan Jackson were outstanding today. Good sibling chemistry already and they matched acting levels very well. I’m glad Lucky got to be the one to tell Lulu the majority of what has happened to her fam while she was in her slumber. I laughed at her reaction to Nikolas being in prison and the shock and devastation at Luke’s death was played perfectly by both AH and JJ. The writers didn’t shy away from having Lulu address the optics of Sam dying after saving her life which was nice. Her explanation of Dante’s coldness was spot on and his scenes with Maxie were really good too even though the janky wig they plopped on AH’s head for the flashback of Lulu saying she still had feelings for Dante was a jump scare 😂 Maxie telling James who Lulu was and letting him get more cookies since he wasn’t lying about her being at the house was funny too Laura finally being done with Cyrus and his nonsense, handing him a restraining order and letting Anna and Dex lock him up was especially pleasing for me 🔥 enough of letting this creeper roam free. Anna once again begging Jason for help finding Valentin is so cringe worthy though, can the man get a second to grieve with his own child without the 80s OGs calling on him for a caper? Speaking of, I loved Jason and Carly comforting Danny even though the young actor continues to be very hit or miss. Danny has every right to be bitter Sam is dead and Rocco gets his mom back so I’m glad they gave Danny license to feel a ways and helped him navigate it all. I loved the Ric and Molly scenes and her telling him she still needs him in her life but not right now after everything that happened with the trial spoke to how level headed she is. I also liked how they played up the depth of her and TJ’s history by having her going through her old diary entries about him. They need to give it up already with Natalia and Sonny man, legit the only weak spot of the episode. The chemistry isn’t strong and this Natalia salvage attempt is just not gonna happen. Put Sonny with Alexis and call it a day. Otherwise the show has been really solid viewing.
  10. Lulu and Rocco’s reunion did not disappoint. Great work from Alexa Havins and Finn Carr you’d think they’d been working together for years. The chemistry between DZ and AH wasn’t as strong to me at first because he seemed to play Dante kind of cold. I did enjoy them once Lulu started bantering with him over her stubbornness and Alexa played the heartbreak over whoever the hell Dustin was very well, same with the confusion as Dante started slowly catching her up on Cyrus and how she ended up comatose. I felt so bad for Danny lurking outside the room, poor kid. Wow Molly and TJ really had it out, kudos to Tahj Bellows and Kristin Vaganos they did excellent work. I’m glad they both finally stopped avoiding each other and admitted where they stand on everything including trying for another baby. That last shot with the two collapsing and crying on different sides of the door was really good. The characters being together for 12 years is kind of crazy considering their ages so I’m not mad if this is a real split for them. Ric and Alexis going at it at the courthouse was also 🔥 I’m firmly team Ric here, Alexis has babied Kristina for too long at the expense of Molly Drew trying to move Scout to DC before allowing Jason to live with them at the Q mansion was nasty work and I’m glad Carly got on both their heads for not making the kids first priority by feuding like this. That said I need the feud to continue for entertainment purposes 😂 The Laura and Lucky scenes didn’t do much for me though I’m glad she knows Lulu’s awake and that Cyrus has been creeping. The stuff with Sonny and Kristina was also background noise @Cheap21 the Sam and Alexis fight was from when Kristina needed a transplant and it was first revealed to Sonny he was her father. Alexis yelled at Sam because she wanted her to induce her labor and the stress caused her to do it anyway and the baby ended up dying. I had forgotten how great those scenes were til I saw the flashback. Agreed on the Q mansion set being bland looking as if they stole a room from the Ikea store
  11. Its so great to see Kirsten taking good care of herself and us as viewers being able to reap the benefits of her increased confidence level on screen 🔥 I rewatched the last two weeks of episodes because I wanted to see Sam’s funeral again before Hulu purges them, then ended up in the classic GH thread and watched the beginning of Stone’s Thanksgiving death right after. The contrast in tone and overall feel was so stark it legit left me aghast. This show is so cold and sterile now in comparison. Even in its most depressing story era the episodes had a warmth, silliness and heart that felt like a big comforting hug from your fam. The only way to describe the current day vibe is like being in an actual hospital with harsh lighting, loud background “music” and frantic edit pacing that makes you unable to fully immerse and breathe for scenes. I wish someone upstairs at ABC would mandate a full aesthetic refresh because they need it badly. Still looking forward to Lulu and Rocco tomorrow
  12. Wow…I love that AS and JS refuse to compromise on their values. I hope when their current contracts expire they send Chase and Brook Lynn off screen with a happily ever after and I never have to see them showcased as a tentpole soap couple ever again 🖤
  13. They were fun together! I was mad when they brought on Siobhan instead of trying a real Lucky and Maxie run post Nik and Liz affair blow up. JJ and KS had great chemistry and I hope we get some scenes with them soon.
  14. Yeah I don’t see the vision with her and Michael lol, Spixie is my preferred endgame and I’d rather they keep them together. If they did do a break up I’d want a real attempt at Maxie and Lucky while JJ is still here.
  15. I’m with @carolineg and @titan1978Kirsten Storms as Maxie has been a treasure all year for me. I’m glad Korte and Mulcahey restored Maxie’s charm and sass and put her back with Spinelli, their little family unit is one of the shows brightest spots. I honestly wish they used the family more for their own story cause I wouldn’t mind a family caper adventure. It’s also been great to see KS self confidence redevelop on screen, she’s been looking particularly 🔥 these last couple of weeks and you can see the effort she’s made to take better care of her health. Now like @Vee I loved Amanda Setton on OLTL, when they paired her with Jerry Ver Don as Clint she was sensational. I’ve only seen her as Brook Lynn this last year but I had no trouble understanding why the ratings started collapsing when her and Chase were the front-burner couple, they’re boring as hell. I’m cool with religious values preventing both actors from doing certain things but my problem is if the show is going to accommodate then they need to do a better job. That after glow scene should have been reworked if her modesty is too strong to take a robe off. 🤷🏾‍♂️ It was legit awkward to watch and AS often looks uncomfortable onscreen. I completely understand why people want another actress in the role.
  16. Good episode today Lulu vs James was hilarious 😂 he’s the best kid on soaps ATM. I like that he gives Maxie and everyone else hell like I’d expect a child of hers would without being annoying to watch. Lulu running around various properties in town fresh out of her coma is funny but Alexa Havins is so solid in the role I’m willing to rock with it. I liked how they ended the episode with Lucky, Liz, Maxie and Spinelli realizing she’s awake and the first in person family reveal being Rocco. Speaking of Lucky and Liz I loved him and Cyrus going at each other. Cyrus is a creep but his points about Lucky being an abandoner and the family leaving Lulu to rot were valid. If we have to keep Cyrus around I need Laura’s kids to keep the animosity with him. Gio is clearly Dante and BrookLynn’s kid, the anvil dropping was very heavy today. Lois referring to plural grandkids, BrookLynn’s face at the end when Chase said they’d both be having their first baby, even Gio’s random scene with Lulu hinted at it. I guess this show has made me accepting of cheap kid rectons because I’m oddly okay with this. Now I’m not someone who needs love scenes but BrookLynn having on a robe and nightgown right after “finishing” with Chase looked absolutely ridiculous. I’d prefer the show just not script these kind of scenes for them man. I think the Ava trial could have been written stronger. I wanted to see the prosecutor go after Ava on the stand and Ric barely got to give Kristina the dragging she deserved. Maura West, Kate Mansi, Kristen Vaganos and Ric Hearst did solid work I just think the writers let them down by not giving them more to play with. I expect Ava to go free.
  17. I legit had to google “Austin General Hospital” because I had forgotten who he was. They can keep that plot lost for good.
  18. Between once again abandoning Lulu at a facility, leaving Ace at the Q’s for weeks, forcing Nikolas to turn himself in and then advocating for loons like Heather Webber and Cyrus, Laura is looking real funny in the light. 🤨 I’m sure Cyrus is lying about her giving him permission to watch over Lulu and move her to South Carolina but why would she even let Lulu be so isolated after what happened at the last place she was at? Lulu getting up and making her great escape was fun to watch. I did not want to have to wait months for her to get out of bed and start talking so I’m fine suspending disbelief at her speedy recovery. Alexa Havins is doing a lot with so little already I’m loving this recast. Michael exposing Drew to Curtis was great. I laughed at Drew not even picking up the phone when Curtis was trying to give him a heads up. 😂 The slimier Drew gets the more I like him but I’m looking forward to Michael taking him down a peg The trial stuff was okay. I’m really just looking forward to Ric roasting Kristina tomorrow.
  19. Another thrilling 2 week Sidwell adventure no doubt 🥱 let me chill on hating before the show has the chance to prove me right
  20. Might as well ship Willow, their kids, Sasha and Drew off too then because no Michael pretty much kills their storyline. The chokehold the Facebook Millow loving fanbase seems to have on the show will never make sense to me
  21. He was too old for the role and Nick and Sharon’s stalled development certainly didn’t help, but I also remember JFP trying to create multiple Noah centered stories and pairings and his average presence kept getting them hijacked by better actors (Noah/Tessa/Mariah) or pushed to the backburner. He was on a lot when they brought on Sofia Pernas but she ended up carrying most of the effort and when she bolted for primetime they dropped him like a hot potato. It’d be such a waste to go from one mid grade actor to another
  22. Chad had an interview with Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson a few months back and you could just tell he didn’t care to be on the show anymore and his performances have shown that as well. He talked about preferring comedy and they were trying to encourage him to take an acting class or do improv just to reignite the passion but he seemed more than over it. I still to this day liked Drew Garret better in the role and think it was a mistake he got replaced. Robert Adamson stunk it up on Y&R the same way Duell has at GH so I’d prefer a new actor with some gravitas. Michael is a legacy character that should be leading man status.
  23. I hope they recast and its not Robert Adamson.
  24. Agreed, I despised Keith but I enjoyed all the dramatics his relationship with Allison caused. That initial affair arc is when the show first kicks it up a gear.
  25. No Lulu again, what a disappointment. Today’s episode was mostly filler before Ava’s trial. All of the scenes with characters discussing it felt like complete retreads so I got nothing to comment on there Its a bit early for Sasha to be getting a pregnancy test no? Poor Mac always has to be responsible for watching over the 80s vets kids. Michael trying to expose Drew to Curtis was funny. Curtis always comes across like a “shine your head for nickel” type company man so I wasn’t surprised he still mostly rode for his guy. The scenes with Dante, Jason and the kids were nice though a bit corny. I wasn’t expecting Jason to decide to move into the Quartermaine mansion. Could be an interesting dynamic shift if they play it up.
