I think him and Kristina would be more interesting to see or even him and Trina. The idea of a Molly and Dex pairing just sounds like a snooze longterm. With Kristina you’d get to play the already established feuds with Joss vs Kristina and Dex vs Sonny. With Trina you can play friendship betrayal and finally give Trina something interesting to do. Molly and Dex just makes for a very safe and bland choice.

I’m honestly over all of the Jagger Cates murder debacle, glad the trial will start soon so all of this is done by sweeps. I did enjoy Molly demanding Anna investigate Sonny though and loved the Claudia mention (I want SJB back on my screen soap universe pls make it happen somewhere) Carly and Jack is my favorite pairing she’s had since RH was on as Todd. The hijinks with the PI was silly but I enjoyed it and I like Felicia having Carly’s back. They said they’d work on a friendship after Bobbie died and I’m glad the show has still maintained that. Sonny and Natalia, yawn. The way they have Kristina act like she barely cares about Blaze after all those months we watched them together is just so funny to me, she looked so disinterested when Natalia gave her the tour update. 💀 Jason and Anna just brushing the kiss off was kind of disappointing but I think this was only intended as a stunt moment to cause some controversy from the audience so whatever lol. I loved Joss giving Lucky hell for trashing Bobbie’s, he deserved somebody calling him out. Nice that she still protected him when Dex and his trainer popped up to file a report. The scene with Dex Molly and Joss…I see where the train is headed just hope TJ doesn’t get parked to the side. Lucky is being such a coward trying to run out of town already. I liked how they had Jason help him and not say exactly what to do but also encourage him not to just abandon his family again without notice. Lucky peeping how he’s basically repeated Luke’s bad deadbeat habits was interesting to hear. The final scene of Lucky praying at the chapel for guidance and then Laura walking up was brilliant. Looking forward to Genie and JJ tomorrow.

Great news. I’ve been watching the last few weeks and the show desperately needs someone like Ed overseeing things. I hope this is really just a first step in getting JG outta here…

The onscreen mention a few weeks back definitely hinted he’d be making an appearance soon. I liked him on the show and I had no idea they had put the character in jail for all these years.

Loving David and Bianca being back on the square and today’s episode with David and Cindy reuniting did not disappoint at all. Their confrontation at The Vic was 🔥 and then the end with Ian proposing and all of Cindy’s men looking on. Great stuff. I forgot to post my happiness at the loser sister killer Bobby finally leaving, GOOD RIDDANCE. I’m glad Anna aborted his baby too.

I thought Lucky’s scenes today were excellent. 🤷🏾‍♂️ JJ played the confusion and guilt while Liz told him he’s not a viable donor well and then the heartbreak while visiting Lulu and having to introduce himself to Rocco then having to tell him and Dante the news, man I felt bad for everybody involved that was good acting from all three actors. They wrong as hell for having the camera pan to Sam after she and Dante told Rocco they’d stop at anything to find Lulu a donor btw. 💀 Lucky’s meltdown at Bobbie’s was good too though him making all the customers leave so he could crash out was hilarious, why does Carly’s staff never call her when something goes down at her establishments? 😂 Speaking of Carly they finally got Laura Wright dressed in something sexy instead of them ugly ass blazers 😮‍💨🔥 I enjoyed all her scenes with Lucas, Felicia, Holly and the awful PI lurking in the background and I’m happy we’re getting Carly and Brennan tomorrow. Alexis agreeing to Martin no Tad going after Sonny to get her outta jail is funny. I like their chemistry together. Mac being so against Holly and Robert is OD, they are all too damn old to be cockblocking like this. 😂 As someone who enjoys Jason and Anna I liked the stuff with Brennan forcing them to recap the caper and her refusing to convince Jason to join the WSB. Finola is going to find a way to bring emotion every episode regardless if the script even calls for it and I love her for that. Curious how her and Jason talking about the kiss will go but either way I want their dynamic to keep going.

He and the actress who plays Terry said they were only given a couple of days notice before filming and that FV directed their scenes personally and they were fast tracked to air a couple of weeks later. I think it was definitely a case of TPTB hitting the panic button before the optics of the show firing Blaze and keeping Natalia could fan bigger flames.

The Lucky/Liz/Aiden scenes were great today. I thought the way both JJ and NuAiden played the nervous tension of a father and son who are strangers reuniting was excellent. I’m glad Lucky didn’t make any real excuses for being a deadbeat and Aiden struggling to tell his father he’s gay and Lucky immediately reassuring his acceptance was a touching moment. Then the end with Liz telling Lucky’s he’s not a viable donor for Lulu was good as well, I’m one of the few who enjoy JJ’s brand of emotional acting so I’m looking forward to Lucky having a meltdown at Bobbie’s tomorrow. I hate how since the writer change Maxie’s airtime as a heavy supporting player has kind of depleted so I was glad to see her and Lucas have scenes today. The show seems to do the returns with less hype better than the big stunt castings and Ric and Lucas just coming to town and immediately linking with the people we’d want to see them with has been a big add to their successful reentries to the canvas. Holly, Jack and Felicia scenes were okay and I guess it was nice how Michael and Willow introduced Lucas to their unfortunately named child (didn’t know his middle name was Alan btw they should have him go by that when the character is older) but I agree with @wingwalker I didn’t really care much about the rest of the episode. I yawned at the Quatermaine’s upset over the elementary school tribulations of Violet. This side of the canvas is always a struggle to watch for me and I hope they find some more interesting material for them all soon.

I like Van Hansis as Lucas so far, different vibe from Ryan Carnes but not in a bad way. He and Laura Wright have really good sibling chemistry already and I liked how his demeanor flipped when Lucas talked with Brad. It was nice seeing JJ’s Lucky and Sonny together again. I like that they are letting Lucky express his fear about seeing Aiden and acknowledge his deadbeat behavior. I really enjoy Lucky and Isaiah’s friendship as well, its a cool new dynamic to see. I’m aboard the Ric and Ava train now lol love these two together and Ava helping Portia cover her tracks for changing Heather’s test results is good use of her as a meddler. Enough already with Gio and his violin. 🤦🏾‍♂️ I did like him and Trina’s conflict but they really need to find something else for the younger crew to do than talk about their parents and mentors 24/7. These are supposed to be prime messy years let that crew get active already. The Violet, Chase and BrookLynn scenes were inoffensive but I just don’t care. I don’t buy for one second Sonny would turn himself in for Alexis lol but I see the set up they’re about to play with him, Carly, Sam and everyone else involved mentioning how important finding the gun will be to prove Alexis innocent.

The second she started pushing for Carly and Lorenzo she became persona non grata to them, it was nasty to see.

I noticed this as well lol. Its funny observing how the various fanbases work on there, I gotta give the Liason stans credit for best organization in agenda pushing at least. They’ve made sure to flood the show hashtag with retro Liason content and negativity towards anything having to do with Lucky’s return on a constant basis. A lot of the fanbases do false rage baiting as well. Like how people were riled up over the show erasing Nikolas from the transplant storyline and forgetting Lucky not being a donor match for Lulu back in the day when in actuality the show went out of its way to address all of that. When they got egg on their faces they all just pivoted to a new negative talking point to harp on. I have no problem understanding why TPTB just ignore the criticism lobbied against the show there.

They played all the right beats with Lucky and Liz today. Good flashback usage and history referencing, she pressed him when it comes to abandoning Aiden, funny snark moments, him knowing she painted the Bobbie’s sign without anyone telling him. JJ and RH still got chemistry in spades too, I’m all in. The brief scene with them and Jason and Sam was good nostalgia as well. I liked seeing Sam and Jason finally communicate through the awkwardness, apologize and come to an understanding. Its too damn bad we didn’t get more of them together until now…their scenes with Dante were good as well. I guess Hat Daddy is leaving the show? Good riddance. Maura West and Tabyana Ali looked 🔥 today and I enjoyed the Ava and Trina, Portia and Trina, Ava and Ric scenes. They keep having Portia go off on these awful behaving characters as if its designed to make them more sympathetic but I just end up siding with her anyway. I don’t even know if she has a real reason to hate Brad but I’m totally fine with her making his life at GH hell even if she’s being a slight hypocrite when it comes to changing test results. I zoned out for the Heather/Ric/Alexis stuff. Glad Molly walked off on Alexis for putting herself in this predicament.

Alexa Havins never had a chemistry problem at AMC so I’d be surprised if that ended up being an issue. They are fools not to be playing a triangle with her and KeMo on opposite ends though, they were top of the pack when it came to sexiest women on daytime in the 00s. I wish they had kept him as a consultant or something. Van Etten does not do good long term story beat play and misses obvious layups. I still can’t believe no one in production thought to make who shot Jagger a mystery, this could have played out all Fall

I always liked him as Mike and was sad to see they recast when they brought the character back. RIP

I was. Carrie, Sami, Eric, Belle, Paul, Will, Allie etc even Rex. All the offspring that have had main roles onscreen should be there.

Aw man this and Greg Vaughan’s last texts with Drake really got to me. They better do it big for John’s death on screen. I want every actor willing to come back to be present but especially John and Marlena’s shared kids and grandkids.

I don’t get the high Hudson West praise but Jake was still a dead baby the last time I watched before tuning back in in 2023 so I don’t have any attachment to him as a performer. He’s not awful but I didn’t see him doing anything outstanding with the Charlotte shooting or Jason return rebellion that would make me mad if he got replaced. Jake’s college send off scenes felt very “see ya later kid we’ll be SORASing when the time is right” and I’m more than fine with that.

Oh I loved todays show. Great to see a strong focus on family and friendships I like the nuAidan. His scenes with Liz talking about Lucky were great and as a fellow proud mamas boy I loved how he big upped his mother. I liked the Liz and Terry scenes as well and then that ending with Lucky seeing Liz at Bobbie’s, can’t remember the last time I was invested in a ship but they’ve got me with LnL2 Loved everything with Lucky. His scenes walking through the hospital, reuniting with Carly and addressing missing Bobbie’s funeral, talking with Jason, he even had good chemistry with Portia. The stuff at Lulu’s bedside was the best by far and I loved the flashback usage. I hope they continue to play his guilt for abandoning the family. JJ is selling it well and it has to be tackled continuously for this return to fully work. Jason getting bothered by Carly and Jack is hilarious as was her taking credit for the drone strike that saved the gang from Sidwell 😂 She’s gonna blow a gasket when she finds out about the Jason and Anna kiss and I can’t wait Anna and Felicia's scenes were pretty good as well I wonder how far they will go with this Janna tension Holly 😍 loved her scenes with James and Mac but understood Mac not wanting her involved with Robert again. Emma Samms is just a delight and I felt her angst at the end standing at Robert’s office door before walking off. Nina and Curtis scenes were also good. The comments that Curtis’s actor only comes alive when he’s paired with the YT women might have some real merit 💀😂 I wouldn’t mind a pivot to a Curtis and Nina affair when this Drew stuff blows up I’m actually sad we only get three episodes this week, I want more

They definitely stretched the limit with the captivity stuff but I’m still excited now that Lucky is finally in Port Charles. Just don’t make the mistake they did with Jason by keeping him away from the characters we want to see him with in favor of pushing one ship.

Riggs is the one who baked cookies for an episode and thankfully disappeared and Enzo was the one I didn’t mind but definitely wasn’t front burner storyline ready. I’m with @Vee neither was impressive and I’d rather they recast than keep poor to mid range actors in legacy roles.

I didn’t mind the one kid everybody complained so much about but the one they had baking with Sasha was cringe worthy even though he looked exactly like Becky Herbst.

Wow. John and Marlena were one of my first soap supercouples. Everything about Drake as a performer was iconic and what a leading man should be. RIP

I wonder who will direct the first week of episodes. The tone setting stylistic wise is gonna be super important for the first 5 shows and they need a format that stands out but is also achievable long term.
