They say that Hank Northrup's character will have scenes with Abe at first. Abe said he plans to tutor Liam Selejko ; however, Theo said Liam once taunted Theo in school. *** speculation*** Perhaps Hank Northrup will play Liam? ------------------------------------------------------ The name Selejko would indicate a relative of Ivy Selejko Jannings, who was played by Holly Gagnier. Ivy's brother Speed Selejko led the gang "the Vipers". Their father Paul Selejko was hired to burn down Anderson Manufacturing. There was also a Snake Selejko. Interestingly, after the Bo/Hope wedding in England, Bo got help from the original Theo Carver (Abe's brother) to defeat the Vipers. Ivy married Pete Jannings. They separated. She learned she was pregnant. Meanwhile she sort of flirted with Mike Horton. She gave birth to Charles "Charlie" Jannings on August 9, 1985. Eventually she reconciled with Pete and they left town with the child. Random things to wonder about ... How is Liam connected to Ivy? Did Ivy and Mike have a child during their offscreen years- so would he be Jeremy's brother? Or is Liam the son of Snake or Speed? Does Liam know that Theo's uncle (also named Theo) helped drive the Vipers out of Salem? If Liam is Charlie's brother, is Pete Jannings the father? An indirect side connection is that Pete also dated Melissa. Melissa's biological mother Linda hired Paul Selejko to burn down her factory. ------- We are likely to see the character Liam soon, but I don't know if Hank is playing Liam or someone else.- ARTICLE: Hank Northrop, Soap Star Son Of Lynn Herring And The Late Wayne Northrop, Set For End Of October Debut On ‘Days Of Our Lives’

Billy Flynn's Y&R character -- the recast CaneAshby with an onscreen pseudonym of "AristotleDumas" -- was planned and written in to begin appearing earlier in 2025; but they had to hold off on Flynn's first tapedate/airdate at Y&R, so that Flynn could finish out something for DAYS. This made the other Y&R characters discuss "Aristotle Dumas" for months before he appeared onscreen. (Josh Griffith's scrambled writing at Y&R). This has been verified in several reputable articles with quotes from Flynn. Anyways, how this affects DAYS: Based on Billy Flynn's known first tapedate and first airdate at Y&R, and Conner Floyd's first tape date at DAYS (from an instagram showing his DAYS dressing room door on his first day), there's about two months in between Flynn-Chad and Floyd-Chad. With DAYS' overall production schedule having such a huge tape-to-airdate gap of many months, it's hard to know if DAYS blocktaped various things to make a longer or shorter gap between the two Chads. If there was no adjustment, then the character of Chad is rested for approximately two months between the two actors. (February 2026 and April 2026). --- Back on topic for the DAYS character Thomas -- it will be interesting to see if Thomas and Charlotte do go visit Jack & Jennifer in Boston -- and if they return (recast) to Salem with nuChad or if they reappear in Salem later on but SORASed.- DAYS: Actor announces exit
Cary Christopher (Thomas) announced that he left Days a while back but is still airing. https://www.facebook.com/carychristopherofficial/posts/pfbid02komSyNMgMY2oZquT3EzjaYbo5q12VL61bteyhQ7a4Ay9j7gWCHVCaq6kb1kGYMDfl (He included many photos within his facebook post at that link) Cary Christopher October 17, 2025 Yes it is true 🙁 I left Days of our Lives several months ago because I booked a role as a series regular for a new show coming to Amazon Prime in 2026. Days of our Lives was such a dream set to work on. I started on this beloved soap when I was just 4. How lucky am I that I got to call it my home for almost 6 years!? I have been so blessed to always be busy working but because of that I couldn’t be in two places at once and I had to leave the show to go work on other projects. I will always hold a lot of memories from being on Days and Billy Flynn and I got to share a nice goodbye. Billy- you were the best tv dad a kid could have. It always was so great working with you and learning from you. And thank you, Days fans!! You all are the best ❤️ Here are some photos over the years 📸📺⏳ (I can't say where Thomas's story leads, and I don't know! so you'll have to continue to tune in! I'm next on as Thomas DiMera on Oct 22nd and Oct 31st) Next up for me- Weapons will begin streaming on HBO Max next week if you missed it in theaters! In two weeks you can catch me guest starring on Chicago Med. In 2026 / 2027: the live action series of Spider-Noir will be coming out, I'll also be in Lanterns, and you can watch me as Justin in the family drama It's Not Like That #carychristopher #daysofourlives #television #childactor #actor- DAYS: October 2025 Spoilers

That might have just been an error? I think they were listed that way when the series began?- Daytime Emmy Awards Live Discussion Thread (2025)
I was so confused by this comment, at first. since the only Carla Hall I know from daytime is the character Carla Gray Hall! Goodness knows Ellen Holly deserved an Emmy. (Didn't even know there's a chef named Carla Hall until I re-read your post and then googled her.) Edit to add: The irony of Carla Hall, who was host of the Chew -- the show that replaced OLTL on ABC, now winning an Emmy for her own show; but Ellen Holly who played Carla Gray Hall on OLTL never nominated for an Emmy.- Y&R: October 2025 Discussion Thread

Good points.- BTG: October 2025 Discussion Thread
There were several pages of discussing this in one of the SON monthly discussion threads in the early months of the show. It was interesting how different posters perceived the length of time of Hayley's backhistory with the family. My understanding/interpretation back then was that both Andre and Hayley had each lost their parents as young adults, in unrelated circumstances. But their circumstances were quite different, even though they each mentored by a Dupree sister -- Nicole and Dani. Andre was taken in by his biological uncle Ted and aunt-by-marriage Nicole -- but he was already an adult -- but they provided the mentorship/support that he needed. They didn't adopt him or raise him, but supplied the emotional support he needed. Ted and Nicole became sort of like parents to Andre in the early years after his real parents' deaths before the show started. Then Andre left town with his inheritance to travel the world as a photographer. Andre had just returned to Fairmont Crest for a visit when the show started in February, but then he decided to stay. Now Uncle Ted and Aunt Nicole are more like older peers to him, it seems. Hayley's story (which is now likely a hoax) -- but anyways, as I understood it back then: Hayley's backstory in the early months of the show (Mentioned by other characters as having happened at some point years before the show started) . . . -- was that Hayley came to town after losing her parents as a young adult, and also Naomi thought of her as a best friend. Naomi would invited Hayley over for dinner at Dani and Bill's house, so she sort of became an honorary member of the family. *Maybe* Hayley stayed at Bill&Dani's house for a short while as she supposedly had nowhere to go, or *maybe* she had her own place but sometimes stayed overnight in a guest room after dinner or whatever. I clearly remember Dani mentioning that she(Dani) had begun to have befriended Hayley herself, which made the Bill/Haley affair worse. Dani wasn't friends with any of Bill's other women. I got the impression Dani had *NOT* been acting in any maternal role towards Hayley. Dani regarded herself as an older friend of Hayley's, whereas Naomi thought of Hayley as a peer and close friend/best friend. But Dani did mentor Hayley and saw that Hayley was smart and had "potential". (LOL). I think Dani was the one who encouraged Bill to hire Hayley? ? ? Bill had been having affairs with other women all along, but Dani had known about it and had tolerated it. What upset Dani and the other characters was that they learned that Bill had been bringing Hayley into his bedroom, and that Bill and Hayley had been having sex in the bed he shared with his wife Dani. (All of Bill's prior sexual affairs had been at other locations and not in his own home). I think the confusion for viewers was: Dani and Naomi kept stating in the early weeks of the show their outrage about Hayley's affair with Bill: "We took her in, and then she betrayed us!" Maybe remarks implying she was in the bosom of the family, etc. That and her supposed backstory of being an orphan, gave some viewers the impression that she'd been taken in by the Duprees as a child or teen and was a true member of the family for many many years. But I think "we took her in" was meant metaphorically as "we took her into our hearts" or "we took her into our inner circle" and *not* that they adopted her. They *never* said she'd been with the Dupree-Hamiltons since her child or teen years. And they hadn't said it was *many* years. Now it seems that it was just long enough for Hayley to get her hooks into the family and for them to treat her like family -- and she was entrenched in a relatively short period of time. She works long cons, but she works them efficiently -- just long enough to be effective. Perhaps the characters saying "We took you in" caused viewers to assume that it was a longer period of time than it actually was? I really don't think Hayley was living with Dani and Bill when the affair began -- but that was never clarified so I cannot be positive. Perhaps Hayley lived elsewhere but she hung out at Bill&Dani's house a lot, so it was easier to sneak her into the bedroom for a quickie? At any rate, it's clear NOW that Hayley might be older than what some characters thought; and she is certainly older than what the viewers assumed. - Daytime Emmy Awards Live Discussion Thread (2025)
