No. Tessa is not bisexual. She had been married to her male manager in the past. She said that when she had a fling with Noah, it was because she was grifting or whatever but it's not who she is. (or something like that). She has flat out said "I'm gay". Mariah has been shown as bisexual; but Mariah is clear that Tessa is her person.

BTG: January 2026 Discussion Thread
I posted this on the BTG October discussion thread: "I stepped away from BTG temporarily. But I had planned to return to BTG eventually. But then, meanwhile, my own life (real life) has become very very busy the past month, with no end in sight. I was following BTG recaps and spoilers for a while but now I can't even keep up with that. However, I am enjoying reading this thread daily and still read all the posts." In that October post, I said I would be "busy in a good way", but I ended up being busy with something not-so-good. I wasn't going to post this, but it's clearly relevant to BTG right now: The update for myself personally: A family member had disclosed to me that they have an inherited genetic mutation that is a marker for cancer. *** Not BRCA but a DIFFERENT cancer gene thing *** This is something my mother died from many years ago. I had procrastinated getting tested. (so yes I understand Kat on BTG). But I did get tested. This involved long distance appointments to specialists at a research hospital in another city. *** IMPORTANT: A few genetics clinics will allow you to do a test by postal mail, if you live far from a decent clinic. (This depends on what the test is, what the genetic marker is, and what the clinic is). I chose to go to the research facility in person because why not seek the best care? The result is that I did test positive for the mutations. The mutations I have affect more than one body part. Then I had ultrasounds and biopsies for each relevant body part as a precaution. (I don't have cancer yet, thankfully). My next step is contacting family members. My original family member has one mutation, but I have TWO mutations, so I have to contact everyone my family member already contacted, and tell them to get tested for BOTH. Thankfully, although I am elderly, I am still in good health and chances are I will remain healthy. But still this process is emotionally exhausting. Because of all this, I hadn't had time to watch soaps for the past few months. Ironically, I had decided to tune into BTG over the holidays to unwind; but then I read spoilers and recaps and ... here I see art parallel to my life. And it's all gone from Paramount Plus anyhow. I might try to find copies of the recent episodes later on, when I'm emotionally ready to watch it. Please get tested for whatever. A) you can save your own life. B) you can save the lives of any children/grandchildren you might have. C) you should get tested as young as possible, don't wait. Also. One of my mutations doesn't affect me, but if I had children with a spouse who coincidentally had the same mutation, then our children would get it. But this is only relevant to a specific gene, so this might be rare. (I don't have that situation personally, but it's good for anyone to know that you might want to have the other biological parent of your children get tested.) End of PSA. Edit to add: I'm not going to apologize for making a long post about this. If it saves one life, it's worth it that I posted. I commend BTG for addressing these issues. I don't want to further derail this thread with discussion about my personal life, so please don't reply. Just get tested if you need to. Back to discussion of the show!

Starting on Monday, Jan. 5 (airing at 3 PM EST), BTG will air on E! in Canada. This fresh start will come after a short hiatus (CTV Drama wasn't airing new episodes over the holiday season). The episodes that CTV Drama did not air during the holidays should soon be on Crave (and available for next-day streaming). https://www.thetvwatercooler.com/2025/12/watch-beyond-the-gates-in-canada-2026/ -- -- -- -- -- From that, it would seem that Canada will be synched with USA starting Jan 5.- BTG: January 2026 Discussion Thread

Our show is bringing awareness to a powerful cancer storyline that hits close to home for so many families. Cancer doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed—it impacts entire families, communities, and support systems. Through our characters, we’re showing the reality of this journey: the fear, the strength, the vulnerability, and the hope. We’re honored to use our platform to shed light on the importance of early detection, screenings, and supporting those fighting this battle. This storyline isn’t just entertainment—it’s about raising awareness and potentially saving lives. If our story encourages even one person to get screened, have that difficult conversation, or support a loved one going through treatment, we’ve done our job. That’s the real power of storytelling. 💛 Thank you for allowing us to bring these important stories into your homes. Let’s continue the conversation and support one another. #BeyondTheGates #CancerAwareness ##EarlyDetectionSavesLives #UseYourPlatformForGood StorytellingThatMatter - BTG: January 2026 Discussion Thread
