Ok if it wasn't a Halloween movie 😂 I did like the ending, but it almost felt like an afterthought, like they added it in because they had to, not because they wanted to. The movie was just all over the place. I won't give anything away for anyone who hasn't seen it yet but Maybe it would have been better if this had been the sequel and Kills had been the finale. I don't think it's worth spending so much money at a theater, but definitely worth the $1.99 on Peacock 😂

Tripp is the best Johnson, for sure 😂😂

Yeah. I think we talked about this in the Beyond Salem thread. It must get tiresome after a while acting in the same style in every episode. Giving Drake something different to do showed how good he could be. Steve Burton is probably in the same boat.

Probably lol but at least it would have given her something to do. She pretty much became just a talk to after that first storyline.

I'm sorry, but it was terrible. Worse than Kills. They amped up everything so much in Kills, and this was a total letdown.

I read somewhere once that, originally, once all the debutante stuff was over, Cass was going to cheat on Kathleen with her. I guess the story got dropped due all the turnaround behind the scenes that year.

If I was Brady, I'd be doing everything I could to find a way to double cross Kristen and then like destroy her in every way possible. Never was a big fan of storylines like this, on any soap, not just Days. Best part of the episode was the Johnson family scenes. They were so good. And, welcome back, Tripp. We've missed you 😍

I see what you mean. But Will and Sonny always drove storyline under other writers. Even under Ron for a little while. And they do still have a healthy sex life. The current writing always makes it seem like Leo is in the right. Especially in Beyond Salem Season 1. Will and Sonny hate him so much, yet by the end of the week they were practically thanking him for getting him out the "rut" they were supposed to be in. Personally, I don't believe that having nice, quiet nights home with your spouse qualifies as a rut. It just seems like such a backwards way of thinking, for me anyway. The original QAF gave off that vibe sometimes, and I didn't really like it there either. Well, in that case, he's very lucky that he's hot 😂

That’s like his only style: obnoxious, villainous and just an a****le, not the romantic lead that they want him to be. You’ll never see him in a Hallmark movie 😂 Seems like another bias of his: if you’re gay, you have to be like Leo and if you’re not, you’re boring, you’re a bad guy, etc. I don’t like that either. Look at the way Sonny gets written in scenes with Alex

Yeah. I think some of his prostitutes were the ones getting killed. I didn't really get that vibe, from what I saw. It did seem like they were trying to do a triangle after Mac's death. But I think that was more in order to pair Felicia with Lucas

I see they pulled an Abby's different hairstyle (from Knots Landing) with Gabi's lipstick and expected us not to notice 😂😂 I kind of liked EJ vs. Li today. It was pretty good, and I didn't expect Li to reveal to anyone so quickly that he'd be willing to drop Gabi in order to stay on at Dimera. As for Johnny and Wendy, I'm not sure yet if there's chemistry. I need to see more scenes of them. Sometimes you can see chemistry right at the beginning, sometimes you can't. And as for Alex, maybe it's already time for a recast. RSW does not have the acting capabilities to play a romantic lead/hero and all the prop writing in the world wouldn't be able to fix that. Just because it worked with Paul Telfer doesn't mean it's going to work here. How can you root for a character if they always come off as so unpleasant and scummy, even when they're trying to be good and decent? Sounds like more biphobic writing from RC
