Whew! That was article was funny. Corinne Jacker was watching from Day 1? Then can someone explain to me why she wrote out Pat, a character that was there from Day 1, so easily? And why she didn’t seem to have any understanding of soap opera pacing?😂😂😂 As for contemporary issues, it seems she learned the hard way that union corruption is not good soap drama, just sayin lol And considering that she was also quoted in saying that she hated her tenure, I wonder what was really going on behind the scenes at that time.

Tate was the winner of todays battle 😂😂 And, there have been some things that have gotten edgier. Just mostly with characters that nobody likes 😂😂😂

Hey, we made it through another year! We should be very proud of ourselves 👍😂😂 As for today, I liked the Holly/Nicole scenes. They have good mother-daughter chemistry. Johnny was pretty dumb though, but it was in character so I don’t mind that lol I’m still enjoying that storyline. It could go in so many different directions. And I wonder if Tate’s actually gonna end up working at Sweet Bits. That could be pretty interesting too. As for Johnny/Tate, it’s like the Battle of the Perfect Hair between the two of them 😂😂😂 I was totally Team EJ today too. Not only did DF do really well again, it was worth it just to watch Leo squirm 😂 Too bad he’s getting off the hook. As for Dimitri… #PoorPeter He loves Leo so much that he’s willing to go to prison for a crime that didn’t even happen in order to get him off the hook, yet was still so willing to let him die in Beyond Salem. Go figure. They could have done so much with Dimitri/Peter Porte, including my idea of an affair with Sloan, yet this was what they wrote for him. A crappy, nonsensical mess that’s all over the place. It’s not even like he’s a gray character, he just goes from all black to all white depending on what the story idea is. He deserved so much better. Any actor deserves better than that actually. And, I can’t believe I’m saying this because I clearly despise Leo with every fiber of my being, but Greg Rikaart has really nice eyes.

I do wonder if it was a mandate by the network/P&G to make AW more like Days around that time, or if it was just Margaret DePriest writing what she knew lol

They were probably hoping to lure that fanbase over to AW. Soaps have done that for forever. Hey, Days is doing that right now with Steve Burton and Tamara Braun.

I like that Nicole let Holly know about the baby. I hope she ends up really believing that the baby is alive too. Her being a part of that storyline could also lead to her own storyline moving forward. Tying it to Tate and Johnny/Chanel could be really good. As for her final scenes today with Eric, I heard spoilers about the DNA test but I didn’t know that she was going to be the one to get the ball rolling. Hopefully, they don’t take the easy way out and have Sloan just switch the results again. Speaking of Sloan, I’m still shipping a #Slimitri one night stand, even though I know it’ll never happen😂😂 Have them build a friendship first, bonding over this whole situation. Sloan could confide in him over how guilty she feels, how the guilt is destroying her, etc,. And then Bang! After a while, Dimitri gives her some comfort 😍😂😂 It would be in character for Dimitri because he’s so flawed. And him questioning his sexuality could be really good. Besides, Leo totally deserves it. And best of all, it would free Dimitri up to pair him with Andrew 😊😂😂😂 On other fronts, Alex was pretty dumb today but I expected that lol this is totally in character for him. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for Maggie. It would be pretty good if it turned out that she actually was lying and planning to trick Konstantin.

Just out of curiosity, when did that office to the left become the design office? In the beginning, that really was Ridge’s office.

Today was ok overall. Though the day to day episodes sometimes range from good to awful, I’m still optimistic about most of the storylines themselves. There are so many secrets brewing right now and I really hope the show goes all out once they come out. Add multiple layers and dynamics to each storyline. Make it so that nothing is ever the same again for as many of these characters as they can. WTG, Steve! 👍 Still have mixed feelings about this storyline but I like how smart he was today. Surprisingly, Kayla was unnecessary in those scenes, with her random pop in lines defending Konstantin. It would have been more in character if those lines had come from Sarah. I do hope Maggie has her guard up though, now that she knows about some of the lies. And I keep forgetting that Maggie and Theresa were once really close. Maybe that’s EOB’s fault. She’s not Theresa and she never will be. But I do have to say, despite RSW’s acting, his Konstantin impression was spot on 😂😂😂 And yeah, Xander really should have given Gwen a heads up before he lied to Everett, just sayin lol

It’s really starting to seem like her reason for doing this seems to go back and forth between each episode. Btw, aren’t the Donovan’s rich already? I was totally Team Chad today. This crap with the Spectator is so pointless and unnecessary. And really unrealistic, considering how things are nowadays. In real life, Leo would have been cancelled so fast, all our heads would spin lol All this stuff has become the most annoying thing about Everett. Even more than his creepiness. Hopefully, Chad or Xander or somebody continues to clean house. Either that or just let the damn paper die. And Stephanie… uggghhh Stephanie: If it wasn’t for Leo and Dimitri, Nicole would have been alone when she went into labor. What???? Bitch, if it wasn’t for Leo and Dimitri, Nicole never would have gone into labor in the first place!! Unfortunately, it appears that Stephanie has been dumbed down for this storyline. Which didn’t need to happen. It’s also hilarious how Chad is being written as the bad guy but other characters who do things ten times worse are constantly written as the good guy.

Yeah… the storyline might not be the best but I’m glad people are being smart at least. I hope Nicole continues to believe that that’s her baby, despite everyone telling her that it isn’t and despite what may happen in the future. That would add another very interesting layer to all this. Dimitri was smart too. As much as I despise his storyline, it’s always nice to see Peter Porte 😊😊 And it goes to show you how good he is because I saw a little chemistry between Dimitri and Sloan. Nothing major but something lol if I didn’t know Ron’s style (biases), I’d say Dimitri should have a one night stand with Sloan. A sexually confused Dimitri would actually be a pretty good mini storyline under the umbrella of the Nicole’s baby storyline. Peter Porte could definitely pull it off. And it would be a lot better than Dimitri just being annoying with Leo. I saw a little chemistry between Stefan and Ava too, despite their crappy storyline lol. Btw, I love how Stefan said there were cameras at the hardware store, yet there’s no cameras at the Salem PD 😂😂 We didn’t need another Rafe/EJ bitchfight though. And Jada and Leo 🤮🤮🤮🤮
