All the incestuous pairings on Days and Holly’s worried that Nicole marrying EJ is the deal breaker for her and Johnny? 😂😂😂 I do like how she got Nicole to think about her feelings for Eric though and I also like how Eric was used in Tate’s scenes today. I’m looking forward to the Eric/Nicole scenes tomorrow. Btw, Johnny and Tate really do have perfect hair 😂😂😂 But why are they acting like they’re not cousins? I also liked the Marlena/Li scenes. We got some really good insight into Li’s character. I still say that Melinda should have something to do with this storyline but whatevs. And yeah, Days really missed a great opportunity to explore that father-son dynamic between Li and his Dad.

The annual fake Halloween episode. Not bad, except for the Nurse Whitley stuff. But still, totally unnecessary. Idk about y’all but I really see these episodes as more proof that every time we hear the budget, time, availability, etc. excuse, it’s total bullshit. A little rude of Johnny and Chanel to be making out like that in front of Holly lol but Johnny looked good. I used to have a shirt like the one he was wearing. And as for an offscreen Abigail killing everyone and Stephanie going crazy over it, was that supposed to be a metaphor for how Uncle Ron’s been feeling lately about Abigail? 😂😂😂

Yeah, and it ended when he found that she was only trying to get a confession out of him. But he was trying to move on from Gabi. If anything, he should have actually started to develop feelings for Melinda but started to go nuts after he found out she was using him and in his crazy mind, would have blamed Gabi for everything. Because she does make pretty good choices a lot of time… especially when they’re not forced on her by the head writer or the ex-producer 😂😂

Today was good but very clumsy. I liked a lot of scenes and storylines featured today but all of this really needed to be established already. Literally every single character that had a problem today was pretty much completely fine the last time we saw them. This was particularly true for Li and Nicole. Again, this kind of ties into what I’ve been saying about long term plotting. Plus, welcome back to Salem, Blake Berris 😊😊 Everett’s explanation was clunky af, but I’m still looking forward to this storyline. And I’m glad that other characters are going to be weaved into it. This could end up being a pretty good mess. But yeah, we definitely didn’t need that stupid ass exchange between Everett and Gabi.

I liked it, but you know I’m not really a big fan of those sappy rom-coms 😂😂 He’s the cutest mollusk I’ve ever seen 😍😂😂😊😉

Maybe this was the straw that finally broke the camel's back. Gabi's been written as such a coldhearted, unfeeling POS for so long now that I wouldn't blame Camila if this all was part of the reason

Hopefully, Mo's son will be the one who finally makes Joss pay for being such a disgusting, unfeeling piece of trash. As for Mason, I hope that happens too. And what would make it even better if they end up killing two birds with one stone with this story choice.

Episodes are always a lot better when they’re not written like a big, stupid joke. Even this awful fake abuse arc was more watchable today. I’m glad it’s over though. And Gabi and Stefan are total trash. I’m glad karma is finally gonna catch up with them. Now, if only it would catch up with the worst character on the show right now 😂 Steve and Kayla’s trip down memory lane seemed a little random at first, but I ended up really liking how it was set against Chad/Stephanie, who were the MVPs today. They were the best part of today. We got some really good insight as to why things are the way that they are between them. And I liked how Stephanie’s reaction were tied back to her former relationship. I’m looking forward to that storyline next week.

Not much happened today, but it was still quite an improvement over yesterday. Mostly, things were set up for future episodes and I don’t mind that. I’m glad that the Kiriakis house is now going to have a big portrait of Victor because it definitely needs one lol. Too bad we don’t see the living room anymore, because thats where it really belongs. I’m liking this Chad and Stephanie stuff but I still feel like it’s about a year too late. This all needed to happen a while ago, when Alex was still in the picture. It would have been much better conflict than Phonegate 😂😂 I liked Maggie/Xander too but their scenes felt a little rushed, which is one of the biggest problems on the show right now. Their scenes should have taken up the whole episode and the scenes of Xander with Alex and Theresa, which I thought were good as well, should have taken place in tomorrows episode. Again, there’s a lot of stuff going on right now that I like. It’s the execution of it all that’s often terrible. There are so many big secrets building right now and I really hope it isn’t all rushed and squandered. Or bogged down by stupid crap, like we saw yesterday.

Yep. This had to be a Jamey episode. The worst ones always are. Guy isn’t fit to write restaurant menus, let alone a soap. This is what happens when you hire someone for no reason other than the fact that they kiss your ass. Ron deserves firing just for that alone. Hopefully, Janet does something about that because even though the toxicity on set is gone, there’s clearly still a lot of toxicity in the writers room and that affects what happens onscreen. Besides, it’s been 6 AND A HALF FRIGGIN YEARS!!!! Even if things were going good, it would be well passed the time for a change. I don’t even like Gabi and Stefan and I think they deserve better than this

Btw, it’s so easy to get a job in Salem. You’d think it would be just as easy to find a place to live 😂😂 I’m kind of interested by this Harris/Kate relationship. I don’t ship them as anything, but idk, I just find it interesting. They had some nice scenes today. I also find Harris/Jada interesting too, especially now that they’re partners. Maybe they could be what Shawn/Jada should have been. I still say that Tripp/Wendy should have their own storyline and not just be secondary in Ava’s. As for the worst storyline on the show right now, all I have to say is #PoorPeter
