Good episode… that was ruined by Clyde. Seriously, nobody asked for this. Nobody asked for him to be a potential spoiler for Ava and Harris. No point or purpose to this at all. I thought we were done with the Westons lol I liked Xander and Sarah though. Those scenes were really good until Mean Sarah came out again. But at the same time, I’m glad that the custody suit is back on. Let the war between the two of them continue for a while. Chad and Stephanie’s scenes were good too, but Chad’s memories of Abigail seem sudden and random. I know it’s her birthday, but they really seemed go from nothing to everything in just the span of an episode. Like with many other storylines on Days lately, that should have been the storyline from the very beginning. Or at least should have always been in the background of Chad and Stephanie’s storyline with Alex, that way today would’ve made more sense.

So I've made it to this Eric/Taylor thing, and I'm curious, were people fans of this back then? Because I'm not lol To me, Eric has just come off as creepy and obsessive the whole time. A vibe that I didn't really get when Eric/Brooke were becoming a thing.

I heard that time period was chosen because SoapNet figured that would be an easy time for fans to jump right in and not be confused by what was happening onscreen, who was related to who, etc.

So that pain in the ass is the one who delivered Susan to Edmond? Any interest I had in that mystery just ended. Too bad EJ didn’t kill him when he had the chance. Other than that, Xander and Sloan? Interesting, but unfortunately it looks like the custody fight is ending, which is too bad because that could have been really good. I did kind of like the parallel that was drawn between Sarah and Sloan. And I’m glad that they’re playing the long game with that storyline. Sloan/Eric/Nicole/EJ can go in so many different directions, especially now that Holly’s been aged. Bringing Xander/Sarah and possibly Brady/Theresa/Alex/Stephanie/Chad into it could have been good as well. And, I guess we know who’s gonna be replacing Shawn at the Salem PD. That could be interesting to see lol But I still stand by what we’ve all said about Shawn and Belle. Hopefully one day, we’ll find out the full story about all these exits. And why Marlena’s been popping up in every episode for like only 30 seconds 😂😂

Shawn’s explanation actually made a little sense today, but in some ways, it still seems like a weak and selfish way to write a character out. I really wish that this show had invested in Shawn and Belle as much as they did other characters, especially considering that they’re characters that people actually want to see. I’m glad that we got some closure with Brady/Chloe though. I just wish that we had gotten a little more. Chloe’s sudden, returned feelings for Philip won’t ever make that much sense to me. Those feelings would have been better conflict for her and Brady rather then his little demon spawn and her douchebag mother causing trouble lol And, I also liked Alex and Justin’s scenes, but like so many times before, RSW’s portrayal kind of messed it up. The way he played it, I didn’t get the impression that Alex was coping and coming to terms. I got the impression that he was just putting that act on in order to manipulate people. I still think this could be a good story though, especially if what we all suspect actually turns out to be true.

I don’t think there’s any interest in Harris/SBu He pretty much was forced on Ron and Co. by the former producer and the pairing with Ava is just another Easter egg and nothing more. This is speculation, but I can’t help but think that he’s gonna be the next exit. Though I’m curious how GH is going to explain Jason’s new tattoo sleeve 😂😂 Not really something you want to explain to your parents 😂😂😂

Hey, Marlena was in an episode for more than 30 seconds! I have mixed feelings about her becoming Harris and Ava’s bff but at the same time, it’s much better than her friendship with the serial killer 😂😂 I’m glad she got to see her grandson though, now if only John can see him. And I’m also glad that we got scenes of Holly and Nicole today. Nicole prying about who Holly has feelings for and Holly being embarrassed about it is very relatable. 😂😂 Too bad she uses the last name Jonas though. I was hoping it would be Walker. And, I liked Johnny/Chanel too. They were a real sweet, dorky couple today. But it’s time for some conflict lol hopefully something with Tripp/Wendy that Holly could exploit. 😍😍😍
