Now this is the kind of news to wake up to. 😁😁😃 I think we all knew that this was going to happen eventually. We (and Soap Twitter) just needed a little patience 😂😂 And not to get all preachy, but it really is time to get a woman back in a leadership role on a soap.

Yeah, I guess on some level, Gwen does deserve this, but at this point, Leo deserves to suffer A LOT more. I just really hate when people get tossed aside by people that claim to care about them. I wonder if they're gonna have EOB do an American accent or give us some weak ass explanation as to why Theresa is British now.

So Gwen gets tossed out like trash and that piece of [!@#$%^&*] get to live happily ever after with Dimitri???? You know, getting rid of the toxicity in production might not do much when there’s still so much goddamn toxicity in the writers room, just sayin PM?

What great opening scenes 😂😂😂 It was stupid that Wendy and Tripp’s night together was told in flashbacks and was ruined by Leo. But at the same time, it did show what a great guy Tripp is 😊😊 I liked seeing him ready to defend his cousin Gwen even though they have practically no relationship whatsoever. And even him looking out for Leo was nice too. Let’s hope he and Wendy get to have their night together soon. Speaking of Gwen, she actually got a sex scene post-Dimitri reveal. And a Peacock one too. Color me surprised 😂😂😂 Too bad it was ruined by thoughts of Leo, and that Dimitri actually has feelings for him. It would have been a much better story if he had been playing him too. Someone get Will/Sonny/Paul/Andrew/Craig/Derrick/Brian/Neil/Anybody back to Salem to make Dimitri forget all about Leo 😂😂😂 Btw, Dimitri is a machine 😍😂😂 Switching gears, I did like how messy Xander was. Torn between three women could be a good story. If all their stories were tied together in one big mess, it could be even better. I also liked Maggie encouraging him to reconcile with Victor. And that they mentioned Victor’s health. Hopefully, his death doesn’t happen the way people are saying it may happen. All in all, I really enjoyed this week. Too bad it was overshadowed by You-know-who and his behavior. Hopefully, that gets taken care of soon.

I won’t go into any detail because I’ve said it before, but Joss just needs to die. And ruining Kristina isn’t going to make anyone like her. Hopefully, Dex will soon realize that he has feelings for Trina and take out the trash. The two of them developing feelings for each other and causing conflict for Sprina would be a much, much better story then Spencer catching feelings for Esme. The Austin/Ava stuff just needs to end. Same goes for Curtis’ whining.

God, I love this post 😂😂😂 I’m Team Sloan too, even though Eric and Nicole are still endgame for me. I guess this is just the writing team’s way of building additional conflict for Eric and Sloan, but you’re right, it’s too much. And she did have a good case to be mad at Paulina, so I don’t get why people in Salem don’t understand that either. I would’ve thought at least Marlena would come around by now.

Today was a long one. 44 minutes. It was nice seeing Eve again and I’m glad that she’s rehabilitated. I’m also very glad at the fact that she hasn’t forgiven Ben or that she had to kiss some serial killer ass. I still say Shane and Andrew and the ISA should make Ben have an accident, or at least have Ciara accuse them of it. That would be a great storyline 😂😂 Speaking of RSW, I did kind of like Chad putting Alex on blast and embracing his villainous roots to do so. Chad was always more of a grey character and it was refreshing to see that. That side of Chad could be the thing that causes some conflict between him and Stephanie. Hopefully, EJ will embrace the same roots when everything comes out about the baby. I enjoyed Sloan today too. She and Eric don’t have to rush into marriage. It’s not the 1960s 😂😂 Let their relationship grow a little and then get married a little later, before it all gets shot to hell.

Everyone who doesn’t like Sloan always gives what happened with Paulina as the reason. But idk, the way that they’re all written, it just comes off as kinda creepy, imo.

Believe me, I’m glad Steffy and Finn finally have some conflict. For me, the problem is that seems like it’s being written to make Liam the one that’s in the right. And who wants that? 😂😂

SMH Finn is being character assassinated.

That all seemed to go out with the 80s 😂😂 I’m watching 80s Days now, and it was sort of a mixed bag. A lot of people called him Patch but pretty much everyone who was close to him called him Steve. Roman’s married to a woman who was going to let his child be put to death for a crime she didn’t commit. His anti-Sloan argument is invalid 😂😂😂

I just feel he deserves better after 38 years.

I second that. On Days, The plane crash which led to Shawn Sr.’s death aired during the last strike and I thought that was so well done. I was glued to the TV that whole week

I still haven’t heard anything official yet as to whether or not someone took over the writing.

Today was another episode of family/friends bonding and character development, and I like that. Episodes like this really help fans understand the actions of these characters. Not just on Days, but soaps in general. I didn’t expect Abe to move out of the apartment but I can see why he did it. Sometimes, Paulina really should be more subtle lol this could be a good storyline if it’s taken seriously and not taken over by stupid crap. Since the Whitley crap ended, it’s been going fine. I did like the Sloan/Melinda scenes too. I hope this friendship continues to grow and that she doesn’t try to blackmail Sloan when she finds out her secret. It would be something different for her and she really needs that And I did enjoy Tripp/Wendy too. Let them be happy for a little bit before the conflict sets in lol too bad their romantic night is going to be ruined.

GH sure does love this out of body experience crap. This is like the third one in three months. And Sonny, if you really want to help Kristina, have Dex work with her at the youth center 😂😂
