Considering the fake name that Colin used and Eric and Belle’s petty bitchfight, I think today was a Jamey episode. Belle’s crazy hatred of Sloan and hard on for Paulina and Chanel will never make any sense. If she was more subtle about it, it would be understandable but they write it as so over the top. You know what would be a good reason for Belle’s hatred of Sloan: if she had slept with Shawn while they were on the outs over Belle’s affair with EJ 😂😂 I don’t really get Marlena’s dislike of Sloan either. And, is it just me or has this whole storyline kind of changed Abe? He seems to have been written out of character a lot.

I just hope we find out why the end of the story was botched so badly. In the last couple of years, they’ve approved some of the worst storylines I’ve ever seen on this show but they didn’t approve something good like the popular couple (who’s return was promoted like crazy) getting their happily ever after? I don’t get it

IIRC, they had an affair back in the 70s. And that Ivan hypnotized her to forget about it and the babies because Stefano was so dangerous or something like that. As for Quinn, didn’t he go off with Nicole’s sister? Very stupid lol just as stupid as the current Bo/Hope storyline continuing without Bo and Hope. That would actually fit the timeline. Back in 1984, it was said that Megan had been pregnant with Bo’s child when she was in HS and that her mother forced her to have an abortion. Maybe it’ll turn out that the baby was actually given to the von Leuschners 😂

Chloe/Xander was ff material. Xander knows he got a guilty conscience when it comes to doing bad things, but yet he keeps doing them. The whole story makes no sense. Dimitri/Megan could be a really good dynamic, though I don’t see why Shane couldn’t just have them both have an accident or be suicided once the ISA pardons them and has them freed. And, I’ve said it before, but we definitely don’t need a third person in this EJ/Stefan pissing contest. Plus, it’s always good to have Andrew back onscreen so I’m interested in this storyline 😊 Now, if only Shane was featured… Honestly, it feels weird for any adult male to call their aunt “auntie” 😂😂

Good episode, but too much stuff happened offscreen. Some of had to be, but some of it didn’t. It seems a few of the new hires on the writing team don’t know much about pacing. This Shawn storyline could be really good if they keep investing in him and Belle. This should be the front burner storyline on the show right now, not RSW/Alex. Speaking of RSW/Alex, once again, his line delivery makes it sound like he truly doesn’t care about being a better person and that he’s only acting like that in order to manipulate people. Btw, does anybody else hate the way he pronounces “Auntie”? (Ontie) 😂😂 And yeah, the Maggie character assassination isn’t going to work, no matter how she’s written.
