What a great opening scene 😂😂😂 I liked Nicole encouraging Johnny not to give up on Chanel. She’s always had a good relationship with Sami’s kids and it’s really good when the show remembers that. I still don’t like how Wendy and Chanel are so friendly though. She was jealous of Chanel for so long but now everything’s ok between the two of them? I don’t get it. It’s also starting to seem like Wendy and Tripp are gonna be in a bubble from now on and I don’t get that either. Why is this show suddenly so afraid to give a love triangle more than just one layer? As for Eric/Sloan, all I can say is what the hell?! I don’t actually hate the story choice but the way it was handled today… It was so rushed and sudden, almost like that its going to revealed as a dream or something, but Days doesn’t do those multi-episode dreams so idk. I still thought Jason Gerhardt did well today, so hopefully he’ll get a chance to shine in upcoming episodes.

What sucks is that if Victor does have an onscreen funeral, Marlena probably won’t be there I think it has to do with both writing and acting. I already made it clear what I think about how this team writes women, but I don’t think LG’s portrayal helps that much either. Even when Sarah’s supposed to be sincere and caring, it still always seems like she comes off as so mean and cold. Today wasn’t any different. RSW has a similar problem lol An interview?

How did Nicole’s hair grow so fast? Who is she? Rapunzel? 😂😂 I liked her scenes of remembering Victor. In some ways, it almost felt like it was Ari talking, not Nicole. I just wish there would have been more. That should have taken up most of her scenes in todays episode, not talk of her and EJ getting married. I also liked Belle standing up to Shawn and her telling him that she wasn’t going to leave him at the bar, no matter what. It’s good seeing her tough and determined, rather than giving up so easily like she did with Jan. I did think Chloe was pretty stupid today though. She’s know that she’s Xander’s second choice and is still thinking of marrying him?? If they’re trying to say that she’s vulnerable and doesn’t understand her feelings, sort of the way that Xander is, I’d understand that. But if she is, I think that the show (and Nadia too) need to do a better job at establishing that. And yeah, Sarah’s just a bitch. I still don’t see how any man could love her.

It really is. Maggie was the one who was there when DJ died. And she was maid of honor at Marlena’s wedding. You would think that after all this time, Dee and Suzanne would’ve at least tried to bury the hatchet. And then we’d finally get Marlena/Maggie scenes again.

Maybe treading water in some storylines; the surrogate stuff immediately comes to mind when I think of that. But this arc that Valentin may be the one who burned down Anna’s house is actually kind of interesting. Idk if Chris/Dan would have done something like that if they were still writing.

That does sound like a good idea. They just really need to use Shawn more effectively. I definitely wouldn't mind Shawn/Jada or Shawn/Sloan, even though I still think Shawn/Belle are endgame. We could have had a whole Sloan/Rafe/Nicole/Eric/Jada/Shawn/Belle/EJ mess last year and it still could have been playing out now.
