tbf, Donnell has expressed the same concern. And it always felt like there was a history/backstory to that long before Deanna finally arrived. So I do wonder if that is what we are about to get. And also why Donnell has gone back to being anti-Joey suddenly.

I can hate the pacing on that story and the plotholes, but Eileen Davidson did make me forget all of that and go along for the ride. The fact that Eileen clued the audience in in her actions...especially the subtleties WEEKS ahead of the story starting...still stands out to me. But I always love Ashley at the center of a story. Three different people (not surprising given Eileen's DAYS days) and they were all different, too. And it got a great climax (and set) at the end of it. I just wish we had got to see more of the fallout. Cuz I did leave for a while once ED exited. If Malcolm is going to be off screen, Ashley might make me turn back in. Ashley in story...even better. And same on the death. Don't even.

I am leaning toward fantasy as well, but yay for a Friday Cliffhanger!!! BUT...it also goes back to all of the talking Vanessa and Donnell did about how fragile Deanna is. Could she have finally cracked? For sure. She might be dealing with Derek's death, but Shanice the last few days has gone back to being the Shanice we first knew at the start of the show. No hint of insecurity to be seen. Love it. It is a shame they never did her and Derek. Yeah. I didn't like her at all yesterday, but mid-episode today JJ did much much better.

FACTS. That split personality storyline was meh, but Eileen Davidson gave a masterclass in spinning crap into gold from looooooong before the audience got the reveal. And the storyline took on a mind of its own due to her awesome acting in all the roles.

Oh, I realized too late. lol. As for Andrew...I know the Universe is playing games. ;) I was always pro-Derek cuz...like I say often...every soap needs a himbo. And I definitely like, like some of the other green actors, BG did grow in the role. And he soared so much when he was AWAY from Ashley (though I wouldn't have minded him going dark the few times Derek felt like he would). I will always remember that BG seem to have chemistry with all of the women, but JJ though. Oh, and him in blue jeans. I do like...outside of Ashley...have well-done the fallout has been so far. I also like that so many people really seem to care about who died as well. And we all seem to want it to be Tomas. hehe.

Wooooooooooow not Dani spiting truth, wisdom, and also self-awareness. And this is why I like Dani/Andre.

Hahaha!!! Just saw it. Ugh. Vanessa shooting herself in the foot. She is going to feel stupid once she finds out about Joey.

Andrew? Creepy. Not you. :) Just...weird couple of days. Ersentine tore it up then and she is tearing it on today's episode, too. She looks and acts like someone who lost a close friend. And I felt her when she said her and Derek were all about their work. Because THEY ARE/WERE. It was part of the appeal of the two of them almost being a couple that I liked. They...fit. It's really and truly like she is speaking for the audience. Moreso than Ashley who feels like a...well...heroine on a soap opera. I wouldn't mind her getting a Emmy nom just off of today alone for that scene.

The eyerolls and 'get her off my screen' vibes that I was giving last night. Yeah...it's been so good that I'm side-eying my other soaps today for fumbling a little bit after strong starts to May. And Y&R...since Malcolm is off-screen so is the show. Sorry, Joshua Morrow. HAhahahahaha! Not Vanessa and 'grief.' When you say it like that, I get why people stay hating on her. Because that's how I was with Ashley last night. Meanwhile...watching today's now and Andre is keeping it real. I love the self-awareness. I would respect Ashley if she did the same.

I blame it on the blurring of my days. My bad. It does feel weird then that we got not much of nothing. Not even a build. But yep. Probably funded by Sidwell.

So much so. Making it all about her and I was like...you dropped him like a bad habit cuz you wanted Andre. I love you, but please shut up.

Them and SOME in the audience. The potential was always there since Chelesa did her diva hair toss for some of us. ;) I was happy that they got a clue right before Winterfest and really was building the Bill/Dani/Andre triangle finally. And that goes back to my every-two-month post about Bill's investigation because I don't remember him cancelling it in the scene where the investigator asked if he wanted him to stop or keep digging into the year before Andre returned to Fairmont Crest because the investigator said Andre had something happen then. Bill told him to keep going. I'm sure. But...crickets when I ask on the board. So shrugs They should let it play out organically. Since Dani and Andre do talk about everything good and bad, let them continue to do so since that is part of the reason their pairing won over the audience. Let something naturally comes up so they can have drama. And no, it's NOT Andre being insecure...cuz they have dealt with that. If it must be brought back up, find an organic way to do so and not out of the blue...something I called them out on. No, it's not Dani's pull to Bill. They talked that out, too. So her running to him after setting boundaries out of the blue...was also something I called the writers out on. You can do the Bill/Dani pull and have it be organic. That's what they did when Bill was dealing with his stroke...and it was completely organic. Bill hounding after Dani these days has been organic as well. And none of it felt out of character like what I mentioned above. You made a good mention about that the other day...and I WILL be getting back to it when I have more time this weekend. I feel you were always right and the plot structure we had that worked was Guza being the Co-Writer to MVJ's ideas and it showing vs what we have with Tracey as Co-Writer. We of GH know how Guza can be when it comes to plot and events. The prime example being Doug/Vanessa/Joey which was clearly Guza's baby and in line with how he writes and plots...and IMO the best organic B plot we had last year. And that period of time you mentioned as he was leaving proves it as well.

ARE YOU FOR REAL???????????? I guess this will be my throw something at my TV moment. Though I've always agreed he was Dead Man Walking. And yet that Random WSB Guy is still breathing. SMH.

I know I'm in the minority, but I liked the fantasy scenes. I really felt they were doing foreshadowing of where their storyline will be going. You mean the stalled triangle? ;P But seriously...I'm starting to worry that they might actually be stalling Hayley's storyline now. If we have to wait until November Sweeps even I will lose it. There are too many people suspicious of her for me to believe someone won't do anything about it. With Kat on the case and AA recurring, I hope that will be sooner rather than later...with Tomas dead of course as the man who knows too much. Given Liberty's tea about AA's filming schedule, it might be November though. :(

I want them all back. Fingers crossed.
