Same. It's like some of the best tv shows or every really great movies where you can go back and watch something and come across something new every time you watch. I agree with this. Especially the bold. They were already appearing to start a triangle with Derek/Ashley/Andre (with some Dani on the side I hope), but it seems like they are slowly starting to put other potential conflicts in the mix by this fire situation whether it's Derek with a condition now or just Derek going crazy himself. Not to mention Ashley being mad at him for running into the building knowing it was going to fall. Yeah, like I said, it does seem like they are about to start with this fire situation. Good for you. I will give PM his due that some of the scenes during that time I rewatched. But whole episodes has been a looooooooong time. Some (like me) are starving for something more than 'factory settings' though.

Same. I can only assume the writers want to keep the audience divisive on Dani...something that has been missing this week vs when the show started and for every good thing about Dani, the writers gave us a bad personality trait for her.

I agree. I feel it will happen eventually, but it does not at all need to happen right now. I'm good on the Haves and Have-Nots. And when it does eventually happen, it can completely be done through the Have-Nots so bonus and natural growth.

And a good different perspective. I can see the issue with the teenage kids, but at least it was already set up at the start by mentioning that Martin/Smitty adopted them young. So it did not jar me. Helped by them being great actors. Same on Karla with her daughters.

Of course, what started as Steffy's plan and manipulation would turn into Daphne liking Carter a little bit. Still...I don't think I am here for a Daphne/Carter/Hope triangle even if it would be different. Getting back to LI...lmao...awwww. I actually felt sorry for her since she and Poppy had finally mending their relationship. But I was getting my life as Finn had to tell her about what happened and watching her react. I'm almost sad the subject matter apparently has led to controversy online for the actors and actresses. Oh, well, let's see if Li is about to choke a trick.

Given us old school 'Make Them Wait.' A good example of how to actually stall and it not look like they are stalling while upping our anticipation. Like soaps used to do. I'm pretty sure the montage where Andre was taking pictures of everyone IS a real song. Same. All they need is to find their rhythm with the stories which I trust they will.

I'm finishing up my workout (and I see EK is 'in charge' today) so it's background noise outside of those scenes and anything that catches my interest. Like Marco. hehe. The irony of him being introduced at the Miami trip where Lucas/Brad went down in flames ain't lost on me. And I admit...it was an interesting introduction so far. One other thing I'll say for EK is that she clearly loves doing Curtis vs Drew. Which I like so good. Oh, lord...here comes Ric...lol.
