  1. Exactly! It's always been there in subtle ways so I'm very happy to see the mask completely drop and him cutting Bill all the way down like a surgeon doing a delicate surgery to complete success. But like I been saying, a good amount of the people on this show have light and dark moments and I love it. Layers and nuances.
  2. Oh, God, yes!!! I know I'm going to rewatch before bed. It was so good. And that monologue...Jazmen did it good. Clifton and those inflections at all the right moments, turning the screws on Bill and gathering him one point at a time. I was living.
  3. Oooo. Watching today and YASSSSS VERNON!!!! He is brimming with power and I'm loving it with his Papa Pope self!!! AMEN. Same.
  4. Cue the Ronn Moss Ridge B&B clip of 'it's not going to happen!'
  5. Hehe. I was just thinking of you cuz I had to peek in. And glad I did cuz Isaiah in that towel...
  6. I think we have discussed or picked on it in the regular thread from time to time. This show is THE YOUNG and the Restless, but outside of Kyle, JG never seems to want to write for the young cast at all or he ships them off before they get traction even when they have potential (Noah, Allie). I just smh. I don't get it, either. But it is sad how there are Chancellors in town and JG doesn't want to write for them. He probably would. lol. Well, I'm sure that JG can get a year of story out of BF especially since he's taking it from Damian so by the time BF's Cane flops, CF's Chad should be appearing. I have no horse in the race with how Chad is being used. I didn't jump to Peacock when the show did and now that I'm trying to keep up with the new writers, so far (i'm waaaay behind) he's not bugging me. And I thought Anna was a great choice as Cat and she was giving me Abby vibes so I can see why they had a story where people thought she was Abby back from the dead. Hehe. Abby will so come back at some point. She's like the Jean Grey of the young adult set.
  7. Lol. I hear the shade in your tone.
  8. Hmmmm I guess time will tell.
  9. Now that I finally have arrived at Lucky's last episode...pardon my french and I know I missed a few episodes so early apologies just in case...but *in my Caroline Brooks's voice*WHAT THE FRAK WAS THAT?!?!*Caroline Brooks* It's funny in light of what I just posted in the spoiler thread to the latest soap hopping news, but it bears a paraphrase...how do you mess up a legacy character's return like this? Especially one who has not been on screen in ages??? I don't give a good kitty about that lame throwaway line about Lucky going around town seeing everyone he needed to talk to. He's connected to soooo many people. They should have SHOWN that. Heck, they should have kept the stuff with the trial (and Drew ain't #$% for what he did with Wiley) and either the Chase (he's a good man Savannah for being ride-or-die for BLQ during this)/BLQ scenes or (personally the ones I love) Rocco/Gio scenes because they kept the flow/momentum of the Gio/Baby reveal going even if it was the B plot this episode. Drop the rest to keep the flow/A story of the week going which is clearly all things Michael/Willow trial and focus on Lucky getting a better farewell. Cuz...Liz looked over it. Lulu could have fought a little bit harder. And a one line comment about his kid won't cut it when said kid could have been on-screen. And most importantly and what has me heated...WHERE THE FRAK WAS LAURA??? Again if it was already explained apologies. All I have to say is unbias my A@#, blocked filming my A@#. Since he's gone and now a frame of reference can now be observed, definitely not a good return for a legacy character and a disgrace for one of Laura's kids. Heeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyy lol.
  10. IKR!!! He has been sooooooooo adorable so far. I'm seriously getting annoyed at Luna for stalking him. I don't know. Usually when it comes to B&B and this happens, don't they usually do a repeat?
  11. Let me just... He can act IMHO and very easy on the eyes. But everyone knows I'm bias when it comes to CF. If anything, I feel DAYS will do for him what GH is currently doing for Rory Gibson with Michael. ikr VERY. His character was a legacy character, too, so there was no reason for him being wasted. I said it on other threads, but I feel all soaps need that good guy cop/hero character. Yet here is JG trying to make him into a businessman for one of his 'stories' when the character has never shown a desire for it. That the story was a repeat of another (better done at that) story JG did two years ago almost verbatim did not help. As for his romances, I felt he had sparks in his last one though they never wrote for it until it was ending and those scenes were some of the most adult conversations his character had, revealing he was too good for her anyway. But I blame that on the writing, too. I definitely can already see him with Cat, too, and he's a tall one if I'm not mistaken. Have we mentioned (like Rory Gibson, too) how hot he is? lol. But JG had no use for him with all the ladies running around? Same. April. Basically a year away.
  12. Well tbf, Lily WAS in the process of being with someone her age, namely Damian. That said, Cane coming back will only regress her. So no I don't at all want him back.
  13. Awwww I respect they acknowledged the L. A. Fires. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!
  14. Awwww so that's what Maurice was talking about this weekend!
  15. 6-17 Well, it continues to look good that Jazmen is able to do good scripts over RC's breakdown. Still have my A story with Martin's Secret and the clear fact this man is clearly toying with Martin. I did like the actor in their last scene did a thing where you could tell his physical presence went from busboy to someone more sinister. And I also like Martin told Smitty what's been going on and their confrontation. Smitty in reporter mode apparently is showing that Smitty everywhere else has a bit of a backbone. About time. You know that I was living for Andre and Dani's argument. I was happy to see a much more subdued Dani for those scenes and KM really had a calm sexiness going on when Andre walked in. Now if we truly want to talk dropped storyline...seeing the glass in Dani's hand, I would take it the potential drinking problem might be dropped. At least until the other shoe drop between her and Andre. A lot of good points. I didn't like that when Dani finally confronted him on if there was someone else, his face and body told the tale. It was also nice to see Dani verbally saying what her actions (for me) have been saying since last week...she's grown to a point that she cares more about Andre than Bill...outside of him being the father of his kids. Progress. I enjoyed the Naomi/Ashley scenes. They really came across as friends in those scenes. And I could say the same for Jacob with Derek. But oops at both of them attacking Andre. I continue to like Chels and Madison's vibe. But I wondered if their conversation was foreshadowing to something else. And I also said AMEN to her comment about how people in real life be so into staring at their phones that they miss out on real connections. FACTS. Not Doug getting a backbone with Joey. I was surprised. And for the first time, I felt he might be in danger. And it made me wonder what was going to be the endgame to this Doug/Vanessa/Joey storyline. Another good one. And the stories are moving through the week nicely.
  16. Whhhhatttt!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Random thought...I forgot to mention Andre and these white pants...Mmmm
  18. Well I didn't mean it that way! lol. I mean in the CURRENT crop of HW shows. It's part of the reason that it really stood out for me. Partly because it was soooo well done that it took half of the episode for it to clip that they were the only ones there. That's a strength to the franchise. And another reason why RHOM is the best because it is giving OLD Housewives like you mentioned. And a whole other country just felt like a classy flex. Which I loved. Most of the current HW shows could try it and it would flop. You know what? I honestly don't know. lol. Another thing that RHOM is good at is that I know very little of the season (same for SLC recently filmed season and OC's recently filmed season) so I didn't know they fell out though I can see why with Larsa gunning for Lisa's man and we know how Lisa is about her man. I think the only thing I know about this season actually is Nicole making cameos and the rumor about Julia and the glass throw...which I believe we will get the truth of next week.
  19. And that would have worked Evvvvven better if right when Lily has been won over by the power and charm of Damian...she finds out that Cane works at Dumas. Damian...before when he was the head...was very plans within plans so Lily would wonder if he knew of her all along which could be a realistic plot since Lily was just coming off of that whole mess with Billy, Victor, and Nikki. If JG had to use BF as Cane at all. And for the record...I DO NOT want Cane with Giggly Heffa. But I don't want her with Nick, either tbf. I can see that. It is also when the writing really started to fall off the rails for the most part. And if I remember from that time, I said that it felt like JG saw what a success he had with the Damian storyline and how it was the only storyline moving (and had NO Newmans/Abbotts in it) so he HAD to think of something to keep the Newmans in focus. And we already know that JG loves the Abbotts though his ideas had slowly gotten lackluster since the Ashley's Alters storyline...though I did like Victor/Jack latest round. I feel that. I also feel my offramp coming up.
  20. It makes one wonder.
  21. 6-16 Yeah that cliffhanger still holds up. And I suspect now that the focus is on an A story with storylines around it, it should flow nicely. I'm happy that FINALLY the one A story (next to Dani/Bill/Hayley and the SilkPress storyline) that has not gotten its time in the main story sun aka Martin's Secret looks like it will be the focus. And so far...YES. Now that the mystery man has come out of the shadows (pun intended), that there appears to be even more movement. Last week was doing a good job of it. And this looked like more of the same. I do feel that like the rest of you that I'm a little let down that it appeared to happen two years ago. It makes more questions for me and the timeline than I would like. Especially given the much better timeline for all the things with Ted/Nicole, Eva/Kat, and Silk Press Sheila. Their timeline so far makes sense for where the story might be going. But this with Martin...uhhhh. Of course, there's the question of what Martin knows and why the man appears different, but I do love that we are getting nuggets of info. Again FINALLY. And the gaslighting was masterful this episode. Interesting. And by interesting, I mean that Naomi/Andre scene. I mentioned that I've been loving the Andre/Dani relationship and watching it grow. And now they are dealing with internal conflict. Along with the mix of drama with their other interests ie. Bill, Ashley. I don't think anyone is here for Andre/Ashley. But outside of being her friend, Andre has not really shown interest in her since the start of the show for me. So I thought it was interesting Naomi pointed out that Andre seem a little toooo interested in not seeing Ashley and Derek together. And Andre...sadly acted like it. A big uh oh. In the minority, but I've enjoyed the B story of Doug/Vanessa/Joey and how it has built since Month 1. It has grown. I feel we have everyone's POV. And there are some stakes or potential for messiness at least. And this episode of Vanessa vs Joey. Vanessa came across like a boss bitca one moment and there she went sleeping with Joey again. I stay with how the characters stay not being completely black and white. Meanwhile, oh look! We are circling back to the Crooked Cop storyline. Smitty in reporter mode has been enjoyable to watch. And just watching his style. No wonder he was such a great reporter. But oops at him seeing the connection between Marcel and Joey. And oops again at Marcel's comment about glass houses...hinting he know more himself. This is getting juicy. I enjoyed the C plots this episode. I enjoyed Derek reading Ashley. I can't believe he had it in him. I can't believe he has me on his side. But Ashley has been nothing but neurotic as of late. And I enjoyed Chels and Madison's little date. We don't really get too much of those on soaps anymore. And wow at a love scene. Good start to the week.
