  1. The eternal dream...him begging to get with her included.
  2. And did!!! lol. BE STILL.
  3. And that was absolutely delicious. And well-plotted.
  4. How funny to see the name Taggert as I drop in because I was just thinking that isn't this month or next two years since his last appearance? Well, was his last appearance when he broke down in the elevator over Trina's parentage?
  5. And to add on to this...SilkPress has been poking him with popshots (brownie boy) since the reveal. And at least it has been established that Martin does not at all like to be messed with. And now he's been messed with since he was a kid with the affair reveal. That...plus the consistent verbal poking by SilkPress over the last few episodes...does not make his anger out of place at all. I hope so as well. Even though the other CBS soaps still have a LOOOT of work to do, BTG's very presence is getting people to at least check out the other soaps in the lineup, keeping the numbers good. Right now...outside of DAYS...I can forget about any of the other soaps' episodes, it gets deleted off my system, and I feel...nothing. I can get a rewatch in on BTG and I get annoyed and/or angry at my system. lol.
  6. Oooooo SHADE. lol. Same.
  7. And the rating 'wars' continue...hehe.
  8. Well, it was fun while it lasted for Rebecca Herbst. Le sigh.
  9. I never thought the day would come, but too much MM for me.
  10. Which officially started to feel that way today with them hearing each other out as they confronted each other at the same time. Same. He was even catching himself when he was about to go overboard or do those tics that people don't seem to like. He failed a bit at the end, but he carried. It makes me think about a month back when it was discussed that the actor was better in other things he's been in. And I questioned then if that meant that he was playing Martin more intentionally. I questioned that briefly again today because he was giving.
  11. I mean...Sarah Michelle Gellar did go on to be a household name and food guru. I can see Ambyr doing the same with the same talent. Amen.
  12. Tbf it's not unusual for a family when they are dealing with some bad news that changes a life to use song to give out hope.Especially black families. I personally had to deal with that very thing this weekend. Partly off putting, but at the same time, I did get the point and it gave me a bit of hope in the moment. MM is definitely acting. But Smitty is just so passive. It could turn into quiet strength at some point, but for now...passive IMO.
  13. Anita let SilkPress know what time it was!
  14. TBF, the majority of Month 2 was them beefing up all the side-stories...mind you Duprees as well as non-Duprees...and it did not seem like people were taking to it as well as they were taking to stories in Month 1. If anything I feel (hope) that May Sweeps is going to shift...while dealing with the aftermath of the Nicole/SilkPress storyline...to the next big story aka Martin's Secret. But that's me hoping that Martin's meltdown over SilkPress jiggles some memories of his out...which I was already hoping would happen. Add on that Bill is involved in both stories now...that might be his way of being sure nothing happens to him now in light of SilkPress's antics. And...same. I feel they did a better job than expected with Vanessa/Doug with me because I didn't even realize how invested I was until their talk at the hospital and Doug made that subtly blunt comment about their arrangement...making the various online discussions online real. And for me, relevant.
  15. Wow...I was not expecting a montage. I know SilkPress did not!!! Poor Eva. Lol. Funnily enough I missed that.
  16. Yasss, ANITA!!! GET HER!!! Awww at Smitty calming Martin down. 'Oh, you're the one leaving.' That face like stone. Go 'head, Nicole. Eva vs Kat...the gift that keeps giving.
  17. Go 'head, Brandon!! I was worried about this meltdown, but he's giving a pretty good meltdown. Knowing when to do it and just the right moment to pull back a bit. These Kat vs Eva scenes. The best soap rivalry has the rivals have some empathy for the others though they dislike each other. And they are giving. Yay! A brief SilkPress vs Dani moment.
  18. Hehe. Bill. Bottomfeeder.
  19. A nice touch seeing a worker still working in the background during Eva vs Kat. 'Curbside delivery daughter.' DEAD. Oh, lord...there's more???
  20. I also jumped ship back in February. It just was not my thing any longer though I still love the characters cuz ABC and Y&R raised me. l. I found before I left that it was just too scattershoted for me and it depended on whom name was at the top of the main credits. I find Korte still has some (note some) emotional resonance in the episodes where she's mainly in charge versus CVE who was not my cup of tea for reasons I mentioned often in the GH thread so won't go off-topic. I check in when tagged or someone mentions something/a plot thread...and will more than likely tune in for the Nurses Ball...but it's just not my show. I am happy that people still find it good for them though..
  21. Yeah, Vernon. I see Martin is triggered, too. Hehe...Little Brownie Man. But I think Silk Press Sheila also catching how Vernon and Anita are with Martin. The layers, the layers, the layers. This is why I love DD.
  22. Aww I was hoping that Zimmerman would still do the breakdown like the last two episodes. But good to see Martin on script. YASSSSSS DD YASSSSSSSSS!! Selling Nicole. The venom in her inflections. 'We'll see you leave in one piece.' Oooo Anita.
