  1. ^ I had the same thought about mercy killing. What the hell? Just end it people. I guess they just wanted to show us that the guy with the glasses finally got it and could walk away, but it was a little lame that Michonne was hanging back. She barely knew the guy and there was zero hope. Also, if Glen is dead it would have been way more dramatic if Nic had shot Glen and then himself, as any decent person would do in such circumstances.
  2. I agree it's totally far fetched, but I have to believe Glen did not get such a bad death. If Rick, Carol, Daryl, Michonne, Maggie or Glen die, they deserve a glorious death. This was not that. Every major character that has died has had a dramatic death witnessed by others.
  3. Call me crazy, but I don't think he's dead. I think Nicholas sacrificed himself for Glen, who was covered in his gore and will live. Maybe. I know that seems unrealistic, but I don't believe they would kill Glen without one of the other characters there to witness it.
  4. I understand the notion that the plot is going nowhere. A lot of things happen, but I never get the feeling there is an over arching story line here. These people are just trying to survive day to day, so that seems fitting. Plus, I don't think they are in any hurry to wrap it up. I can see this show going for many more years because it isn't really dependent on any particular star. If there is a star, it's probably Rick, but how many people feel the show couldn't go on without him? Anyone who gets greedy and tries to hold the show hostage can be replaced. I can't agree about the characters being inert though. There's nothing farther from the truth from my perspective. We've seen all of these people grow and change and there have been a ton of truly great character moments. My favorite was probably Michonne holding a crying Judith for the first time. Trying to hold her away from her body and then finally bringing Judith closer to comfort her, as the tears run down Michonne's face. Beautiful acting and an entire backstory told without words.

I really can't stand AC, but immigration is a hard issue. Does the fact that most of us are descended from immigrants mean that we have to have open borders? I don't think that's practical or smart. It's also not practical to deport huge numbers of people or have a fence , so I really don't know what the answer is. Maybe some sort of guest worker program, but that poses it's own issues.
  6. Michone doesn't trust Morgan, so that makes me suspect him as well. I also got the feeling Morgan thought Rick had a hand in that guy's death. He was looking at Rick pretty strangely.
  7. I think I saw a Wapo tweet debunking her debate with all the made up "facts" she used. I think she can be a huge liar and still have won the debate though. Those things are far from mutually exclusive. I feel like I woke up one day and a good portion of the Jewish community moved to the Republican camp. I still can't get used to it, but I think AC is in the dog house because many elite Republicans like having Jewish support. It kind of deflects from some of the accusations of exclusion.
  8. I had no idea until today what a nutcase he is on that topic. I had a pretty easy pregnancy and the idea of any 10 year old girl going through that still makes me want to cry. What a bunch of clueless bastards. Huckabee, Cruz and Rubio should be ashamed of themselves. Congrats on being crazier than Trump!
  9. I'm so annoyed by this. Just what poor people need. Fewer options for abortion services, birth control and STD care. Bobby Jindal is an !@#$%^&*]. https://www.yahoo.com/health/bobby-jindal-cuts-medicaid-funding-to-planned-125852338057.html
  10. I see Ian McShane is joining the cast. I wonder who he's playing.
  11. All those times he called her a whore. I also loved that Missandei caught on first.
  12. They also have these places called shelters. BTW animal cruelty is against the law. I'm guessing that's true even in bump !@#$%^&*] Arkansas. The fact that no one really called you on this ridiculous comment should probably tell you that this board has given up on you. We now expect you to say low down disgusting things on the regular. It's actually more surprising when you don't. My last words to you ever, are that you are an !@#$%^&*] for blaming black people for their own inequality. Yes, if only they would stand by more rapists that would solve everything. Do you not even grasp how [!@#$%^&*] stupid you sound? If I get banned for this post, I'll miss most of you, but I had to say it.
  13. This article explains so much. If only he had hired some high class call girls to play this out, instead of raping people. https://www.yahoo.com/health/is-bill-cosby-a-predatory-somnophiliac-123640068647.html
  14. Yes, to all of this.
  15. Well, I don't think it's a coincidence that Melisandre just rolled into "town" as Jon died. I may be very wrong, but I'm pretty sure she is going to resurrect him. She thought Stannis was the chosen one, but I think most of us believe it's Jon.
  16. I think some people are looking for an opportunity to tell us how pious they are. And at the risk of being an evil gender stereotyper, I bet there are more than a few gay men who are like "F*ck!!", now that they are legally allowed to get married.
  17. I hope Ramsey carves the cold, dead heart out of Stannis. However, the Lord of Light has power and Stannis did make the sacrifice. I think he might win his battle against the Bolton's at least. I was surprised that Shireen's mother is the one who tried to save her. I think she was basically insane from losing all of those babies (keeping the bodies proves that). She latched on to a cult to give her life meaning, but at least at the end she came to her senses. I wish Shireen had at least seen her mother try to stop it. Dany's scene was good tonight. This show needs more dragons, but I guess the CGI or whatever they are using is expensive. People seem to think she left her crew to fend for themselves, but really, the fight was over. I wonder if Oberyn's mistress is going to kill Jaime. Hey Q, your giant survived!
  18. I'm always amazed that people keep going after losing a child. He's lost two and a spouse. I'd be diving into a bottle faster than Nikki Newman after a fight with Victor.
  19. I wonder if he is going to start a plague or assassinate one of Dany's enemies? I don't know, but they must have something up their sleeves or he would be dead already.
  20. I agree with all of this. I loved Aemon. At least he got to see a world with dragons and where Dany was rising to power on some level. I knew there was a reason this show was trying to make us fall for Shireen. I don't like her chances. The Sandsnakes are a huge fail. They may as well have cut all this Dorne stuff because it's terrible. I hope Dany sees that Tyrion could be useful to her.
  21. I see what you're saying. I guess it depends on how far he takes it. If it was just some rough sex, I sort of feel like that's par for the course. Maybe by the faces Theon was making we were supposed to infer that he was really hurting her. I guess I figured he wasn't because his father wouldn't approve of that.
  22. I think I'm the only person on the planet who agrees with that. She knew she was going to have to have sex with him when she agreed to marry him. Baelish gave her an out, so I'm not sure what made that scene rape in people's minds. However, since it seems to be the universal perception, I'll have to accept that it's there. That fight between Jaime/Bronne and the Sandsnakes was pathetic on every level. Poorly done and even the camera work couldn't save it.
  23. I wonder if that was Drogon that Tyrion saw or are there other dragons out there?
  24. I liked the Stannis/Shireen scene so much, although it made me wonder if the red priestess is either going to sacrifice her or try to.
  25. I'm a lot more concerned about the speeding charge. Going 107 in a 55 mile an hour zone is nuts, but people get away with it all the time.
