  1. Maybe one has come forward that can prosecute? http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/new-cosby-accuser-could-trigger-first-prosecution/ar-AA8aKs7
  2. It got worse with the Palestinian/Israel conflict that happened over the summer. Some people tend to blame all Jews for anything that happens with Israel, as if the average European Jew had any say in the matter (some of the richest people do, in a sense). I don't see it getting better any time soon, since it's just a matter of time before Hamas manages to build up more rockets for the next conflict. It's kind of depressing, but this is an age old battle and I don't see any political solution happening any time soon, but maybe some amazing leaders will emerge on one side or the other and their will be an answer. It's happened in other cases.
  3. Yeah, I don't blame them. Time to go to Israel or the U.S. like yesterday. Not that I think it's easy to leave everything you know, but the writing has been on the wall for awhile now. http://www.haaretz.com/blogs/routine-emergencies/.premium-1.636348?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  4. So the season premier is April 12th. I'll probably be a little busy around then, but I'm still glad the show will be back.
  5. Gloating about a rapist being "untouchable" says a lot more about the person doing the gloating than it does about anyone else.
  6. And yet he claims we rush to judgement.
  7. Not much better. I'm pretty sure the woman who were assaulted feel like it is about them and not about some f*cking "legacy".
  8. If I ever doubted that the rich and famous have a tendency to lose perspective those comments really bring it home.
  9. Damn. I wanted to believe that PR is better than this. If anything has destroyed the legacy, it isn't the women who were raped.
  10. I'll agree with you that he had at least that much coming. Usually, I hate seeing anyone go to jail for a property crime or petty drug crimes. I think we need to say our limited resources for truly dangerous people. However, public officials who abuse their power should face the maximum sentence.
  11. Seriously. The last thing Florida needs is more people/development. How sad.
  12. Damn, my poor (population wise) little state (NE) has 9. I guess I'm not too surprised that a place like Ohio would have a lot. There's probably a lot of lower call disillusionment in that part of the country. It's always easier to blame another race than to face the real problems. Omaha only seems to have black separatist groups, with some Neo Nazi's too close for comfort in Lincoln.
  13. Isn't the KKK down to like 5,000 members? They can't have that many hidden members can they? I feel like they are basically a joke now and the really scary groups are more underground.
  14. I can see that. I used to live in the Tampa area (Brandon). Florida doesn't need more development. It's a beautiful place and I hate to see it paved over any more than it already has been.
  15. I agree. Like Rush and Howard Stern, I very much doubt that she believes half of what she says. As I've said before, no one is that consistently ignorant. In some cases the motivation is attention, in some cases it's money.
  16. Very true, but she did have to know for years that there were plenty of allegations out there. Some of them have been out there for decades. Some people think these allegations were breaking news in 2014, but far from it. http://gawker.com/who-wants-to-remember-bill-cosbys-multiple-sex-assaul-1515923178
  17. It seems likely they hired a PR firm to help them spin this and they are just staying on message.
  18. She would have done better maintaining her silence and perhaps taking a very long luxury vacation to Europe.
  19. Allow me to recommend this course of action.
  20. It has to be a grab for attention/reactions. No one can be this ignorant.
  21. I just can't take you seriously anymore. It's pretty obvious that Cosby had the sense to use a condom when he was raping these people.
  22. I think they are pretty brave. I doubt I would come forward in their position. I wouldn't want to drag my family through it, if I knew there was little chance of getting justice. Unlike many people in this thread, it's easy for me to understand why victims don't come forward, especially when they don't have physical evidence.
  23. I agree it's sort of a random comparison, although I guess if I had to choose between being drugged and raped or beaten so badly I lose an eye, I'd choose being drugged and raped, but hey, that's just me. I do think it's shameful that MW only did 45 days for hurting someone that badly and then has the temerity to ask for a pardon. One crime doesn't excuse the other and at least MW actually did see the inside of a jail cell and admits what he did.
  24. Again, many of these allegations have been around for decades.
  25. I don't get your point? We take over the counter painkillers like Advil and Tylenol for MENSTRUAL cramps.
