  1. Not true. AMC had plenty of Latinos and Better Call Saul does as well.
  2. I thought it was odd how quickly she got on board. I also liked Carol's last line to Rick "even though you were wrong, you were right". I completely agree. Rick is pretty traumatized, so I can't hate him. I liked the scene where they were outside the camp and Rick heard the children laughing, that was nice.
  3. No, I liked him, but I was one of the few on this board. He was quite disliked to say the least.
  4. I think he's being practical. There are 1 billion Muslims in the world, so he wants to make sure that we differentiate between extremists and the common people who aren't involved in terrorism. We can't and shouldn't go to war against them all. I agree that the extremists are a branch of Islam, just like fundamentalist Christians are a branch of Christianity. However those are questions of religion and philosophy and only get in the way of politics and a practical result, imo. Plus. he even has a real point, in the sense that these extremists have probably killed more of their fellow Muslims than they have anyone else.
  5. Yes, you're right. It just kills me that we may have to legislate common sense. I'd prefer it to come from the private sector, if it can't just come from people believing the medical establishment is right on this one.
  6. I'm definitely pro-vaccination, but it does go against my grain to force a parent to vaccinate. I'm not saying I wouldn't support it, if there is truly no other way, but it strikes me as over stepping by the government and I am pretty liberal. I felt the same way about allowing young girls to get abortions without parental notification. I'm horrified by the idea of my little girl going through surgery without my having the first idea it's happening. However, the bad apples out there who try to force or shame their young teens into having babies they aren't ready for screw things for the rest of us. This is basically the same situation. Parents should have the right to decide on their children's medical care, but these relatively few are arbitrarily putting other people's children in danger by not vaccinating, so the government is going to have to step in and take over.
  7. Of course! My SON buddies make TV watching much more fun. I just don't know why the writers thought we'd want to watch an episode of what's in someone's head as they die. That could have been done in two mins. Oh well. I just hope it gets better.
  8. I had a feeling this episode would make Q and Chit happy. I thought it was kind of a waste.
  9. I'm an atheist, but I still don't find any of these Christian actors strange or creepy. A huge percentage of the population still believes in some sort of God, generally the Christian one in the U.S. No reason to think actors would be any different. I do find a certain irony in some of it given that Austin Peck participated in the break up of a marriage, but whatever.
  10. I like the implication that Varys is going to try to bring Tyrion to Danys side. I hope that works out.
  11. Right. I just wish things would be fair for everyone, but that won't be happening any time soon.
  12. Seriously. He's one of those people that I often agree with, but because he is such a condescending jerk I want to take the opposite position.
  13. Thank you. It's amazing how many people hold this opinion. No wonder sex workers make such easy targets for every freak out there.
  14. Maybe one has come forward that can prosecute? http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/new-cosby-accuser-could-trigger-first-prosecution/ar-AA8aKs7
  15. It got worse with the Palestinian/Israel conflict that happened over the summer. Some people tend to blame all Jews for anything that happens with Israel, as if the average European Jew had any say in the matter (some of the richest people do, in a sense). I don't see it getting better any time soon, since it's just a matter of time before Hamas manages to build up more rockets for the next conflict. It's kind of depressing, but this is an age old battle and I don't see any political solution happening any time soon, but maybe some amazing leaders will emerge on one side or the other and their will be an answer. It's happened in other cases.
  16. Yeah, I don't blame them. Time to go to Israel or the U.S. like yesterday. Not that I think it's easy to leave everything you know, but the writing has been on the wall for awhile now. http://www.haaretz.com/blogs/routine-emergencies/.premium-1.636348?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  17. So the season premier is April 12th. I'll probably be a little busy around then, but I'm still glad the show will be back.
  18. Gloating about a rapist being "untouchable" says a lot more about the person doing the gloating than it does about anyone else.
  19. And yet he claims we rush to judgement.
  20. Not much better. I'm pretty sure the woman who were assaulted feel like it is about them and not about some f*cking "legacy".
  21. If I ever doubted that the rich and famous have a tendency to lose perspective those comments really bring it home.
  22. Damn. I wanted to believe that PR is better than this. If anything has destroyed the legacy, it isn't the women who were raped.
  23. I'll agree with you that he had at least that much coming. Usually, I hate seeing anyone go to jail for a property crime or petty drug crimes. I think we need to say our limited resources for truly dangerous people. However, public officials who abuse their power should face the maximum sentence.
  24. Seriously. The last thing Florida needs is more people/development. How sad.
  25. Damn, my poor (population wise) little state (NE) has 9. I guess I'm not too surprised that a place like Ohio would have a lot. There's probably a lot of lower call disillusionment in that part of the country. It's always easier to blame another race than to face the real problems. Omaha only seems to have black separatist groups, with some Neo Nazi's too close for comfort in Lincoln.
