Have you tried to watch the content he creates? I can't even watch it enough to find out his new job. So someone spoil me. Real Estate/Flipping? Online re-selling? Branding his own product for cbd? Crypto trading? All of the above? I mean, he probably shouldn't have 'passed' on Beyond Salem lol

It's been a long time, but I do think when they introduced Craig they said he was a cheater and married his wife for her money. But they backtracked on that once they cast PD as Nancy. There was talk from Nancy taking away her daddy's money if Craig wasn't chief of staff or something like that in the very beginning though.

We don't know Leo is in love with him. Craig just is. And I know Leo has made comments about John being a silver fox so it wouldn't be against his type

That was the first thing I thought of when I heard this rumor-now truth. I would totally be okay with the show putting that into the context of Craig knowing he was attracted to men for a long time to give it some sort of history to this brand new behavior. It does makes sense if you think about it. He was weirdly obsessed with Mike's love life. It would be a shame if a serious situation had Craig being in love with LEO. I don't doubt it, but he would leave his wife of decades for LEO? Leo's fun in certain situations, but he wouldn't be in this one.

Of course it happens in real life. Probably a lot more than people know. But for Nancy/Craig there has never been an indication 1. That Nancy would know or condone cheating 2. Nancy would suspect he would be cheating on her with a man 3. Craig has ever been attracted to men I mean this has just started and maybe the reason he was so obsessed with Mike back in the day is because he had a secret crush on him. I agree with those who said NB and KS were good. I never thought they were bad, but they were pretty good today.

That's very true. He's been with Nancy since they were teens and they are like 60 right? It's awkward, but you would think he would have that sort of trust with someone he's been with that long. Even if he's gay he doesn't have to do that to someone. It's two separate issues and I feel like the cheating aspect will be swept under the rug.

I haven't watched it yet and I said I would give it a chance, but it probably would have been better if this all didn't occur in the span of 3 episodes. I obviously remember Nancy and Craig, but they haven't regularly been on our screens for years lol. Some lead up would have been nice. I would have to assume Craig is bi because he enjoyed and loved a woman for years. It would be a real shame for him to just be gay and closeted for years. If they are going to do this it's unnecessary to crap all over Nancy and Craig's 40 plus year relationship. I know it occurs in real life all the time, but before last week there was no indication Craig and Nancy didn't have a loving, healthy relationship.

I just don't think Carly is supposed to be the pinnacle of womanhood as a character (I believe Jax said that exactly to her and I died in my soul lol) especially for people who are blood related to her. LW is a stunning woman, but part of Carly's insecurities come from being the poor, scrappy, underdog. I get it's not exactly true now after years as a millionaire, but it's the motivation I give to her when she bites any women's head off that comes near Jason, Jax, or Sonny.

Oh I know it happens. My friend and his sister are both gay so that was 2/2 for that family, but I am imagining Sami's reaction to it all lol. You know Marlena would be thrilled lol

Yeah that's true and that's disappointing because I like Johnny as a villian. I said somewhere in this thread that it limits the fun, sexy, scheming stories we could have had with Johnny. Saddling him with the devil is not like saddling Marlena with the devil. Johnny's a pretty blank slate. Marlena was always good.

Do you think Sami's head would explode if 3/4ths of her kids were LGBTQ? For all we know Sydney is too lol I have known a Tripp in life lol. It was a white preppy guy. I think it might be an east coast name? It's a stupid name, but I have heard it. But I have never met a Roman or Marlena in real life, so it's not the most out there name I guess. Tripp Johnson does sound vaguely like a porn name though.

I think it could be Whitney before plastic surgery? Does anyone know what his first wife looked like? Or honestly, it could be a girl he took a pic with. Weren't they part of some MLM thing that had retreats and stuff?

Sarah brown doesn't look the most natural but TB and LW look great. Gross. I did sort of like Spinelli back then though. I really did enjoy Georgie/Spinelli and early Maxie/Spinelli.

Honestly, if I had my way I would make Johnny a (non-devil) villian and keep Tripp the good guy. I think there is something smarmy about Carson Boatman that works better than Lucas Adams as a villian. Obviously they both could be villains but they are the only two men in this age range right now so that probably wouldn't work lol

I forgot Spinelli had a thing for her. That was during her mini-Carly period though. Carly also had multiple men fighting over her and an entire group of guys at Jakes fantasized about her including her own cousin Lucky. That was a dark time..

Even if Tripp gets jaded about love and unwilling to open up to his future new girlfriend Joy Wesley lol. Or he could start being self destructive and turn to drinking or he could become a manwhore and we can watch shirtless Lucas Adams run around town sleeping with all Salems ladies. I wouldn't want him to change himself entirely. Soaps need good guys like him.

Lol. Her and Maxie had a slew of forgettable leading men at the time. I get they were young ingenues but every single one of those love interests (outside Johnny) were interchangeable. Weren't they at one point fighting over (not gay yet) Lucas? Or was that Maxie and Georgie and really creepy? Even with Dante, there was a time period where all Lulu did was talk about Dante and seemed to have no life of her own, but to be fair I think that was the time period on the show EVERYONE talked about Dante all the time. That only stopped when VM came back and every single character had to talk about Brenda for entire episodes. Poor DZ, Dante is with Sam now. He gets all the cold fish or women that were in love with his dad. It's weird to say the show wastes Dante when 10 years ago you couldn't go a day without Dante or hearing about Dante. That really has nothing to do with JMB/Lulu, but it got me thinking about how much I liked Dante back in the day. Probably the last great hire GH had.

Fair, but it doesn't make Tripp the dullest person on the show lol. He sews okay? I just don't think all hope is lost with Tripp. He needs more of an edge, but he hasn't been actively boring us for a decade and half. They could make him more a villian or he could slip into the Mike Horton sort of role. Honestly the Allie/Tripp/Chanel/Johnny story is the first time I have been interested in him so we will see where it goes.

The season is pretty bland to be honest. Lala does earn her check, but she's also just randomly making drama. There is a lot of James and Raquel and drama about a new bar by the Toms. Charli was the only newbie kept and she was highly edited out. Danica, and everyone else was cut after last season- a couple of them for racist remarks but I honestly can't remember their names. The reunion is great though. I probably would just recommend you watch that.

Brock is so dumb and can't even mildly try to explain himself out of his child situation. Under no circumstance is I slapped my ex because I was young is an excuse and I am respecting her by not paying my full child support. Like what? You are asking your girl for money for your 'fitness' business but not your kids? It's clear he using Sheana for fame and money. He grosses me out on so many levels and I don't exactly like Sheana but she's been stung so many times before I don't understand why she's marrying a red flag standing. Lala should probably just get her own spinoff. She basically did all the heavy lifting this season. She was the only one earning her paycheck. And she and James can just have their own show discussing the relationship woes lol

Raquel and James LITERALLY announcing their breakup at the reunion was pretty epic and since the season was basically all about them I can see people tuning in. Plus Lala and Randall breaking up and all that tea. There is enough drama for another season. The cast is stale but I think they did just enough at the finish line to garner another year. Although I wish they'd expand Charli's role. She's pretty good at the reunion but she was edited down to nothing the entire season. I cannot stand Brock. He paid for Sheana's engagement ring on 3 credit cards but can't pay off his child support. Nothing about him makes me think he isn't an awful human. They were fired for all the right reasons, but the show does lack something without Stassi, Jax, and Kristen. It just does. And being a gal from Lake Arrowhead, CA (if you know you know on season 2) my husband worked with Stassi's mother Dana for several years lol.

She had really good chemistry with her family and so much looked the part (mute dark haired lulu was always a mystery casting to me). JMB also was great with JE/Tracy. She was just a little bit of a cold fish for romance but it worked with Dante's charisma. I think before that they were trying to push her as a romantic lead in a more generic way and it worked better when she was more aloof and cold with Dante. It felt more natural to her abilities. I did think she worked well with Kirsten Storms and liked their friendship. Also she did get a little sanctimonious in her mini-Carly years. I am not a huge Lulu fan or anything, but I think JMB was good casting. Same with BC's Morgan. He was an obnoxious prick but that fit with what Morgan should have been-although young Morgan was so different and I wanted him to sail boats with Jax in Australia forever.

I don't think it helped that JMB was kind of a cold actress. I didn't mind her idolizing Carly that much. I liked her with Johnny but Logan and fake Barrett guy are the same person in my mind so I can't recall. She was got better overtime and was charming with Dante, but something about her always came off extremely aloof and harsh.

Guza had a lot of good material to feed off of. He was given good Luke/Laura and handed Sonny/Brenda/Jax on a plate plus Robin/Jason and Ned/Lois. JMB was heavily pushed on men I think. They pushed her very hard in the romance department until she clicked with Dante. But are soaps really hitting it hard with the teen demo? I am in my 30's and no one I know goes near soaps lol. I dont think 18 year olds are lining up for this anymore.
