  1. With everything that Jelena Dokic has gone through in life and her career, it seems like she would genuinely appreciate more hugs.
  2. This makes me so mad. There should be more environmentally conscientious non-profit organizations stepping up to counteract these greedy companies by simply handing out some LED bulbs in low-income and underserved communities.
  3. Wasn't Moore filming a Tyler Perry movie at that same time? I think Y&R just let him keep it on, rather than be bothered. It has Tyler 'King of bad wigs' Perry's handiwork all over it.
  4. You taunt me @Soapsuds man, how I wish Roger were hosting these reunions, but we soap fans are always having to be satisfied with less than.
  5. Watching these early seasons, it's easy to think of alternative storylines. What if Margo's baby had actually turned out to be Bill Spencer's instead of Clarke's? I think the writers would have gotten a lot more leverage out of that, especially down the road. The only factor would be Don Diamont playing $Bill decades later would be tricky considering Daniel McVicar's age. Seeing Ethan Wayne getting scraps of storyline here and there, it's not hard to understand why he left. He was as capable as anyone else on the canvas not named Susan Flannery or Joanna Johnson. I keep wondering whether killing off the character, instead of it being an attempted suicide and hospitalization, was a mistake. It just seemed as if beyond a year, the storyline had little impact long-term. Whereas having Brooke, Donna and Katie have to make the devastating decision to put someone who, for much of their childhoods functioned as a de facto father figure in in-patient institutionalized care would have had painful repercussions, like an open unhealed wound. And it would have left things open for Ethan Wayne to one day make an appearance, for a anniversary episode, which many longtime fans might have gotten a kick out of. It's just a shame that the show cut off any chance of many of these actors from the early years coming back. When I watched soaps, I always got a kick out of seeing actors From the show's past "way back when", even if they had been on before I began to watch the show because the actors all genuinely seemed thrilled by it.
  6. Seriously, he has asthma and decides to practically roll around in COVID and flout all sense of reason?
  7. My heart and condolences go to Regina King and Ian Alexander Sr. Regina had just recently celebrated a birthday and was in a career high with her latest movie "The Harder They Fall" to now losing her only son. No awards or accolades can take away such a pain.
  8. There just aren't any words to describe this time we are all living in.
  9. Mannarino can surprise folks sometimes. I don't know how he'll do in the next round but, if he's feeling good, he could give Rafa a match. I'm still thinking about how much stock I want to buy in Karatsev, I will need to see more of what he can do in major tournaments over time before making any judgements. He knows the potential. Before she got derailed by injury, her father's death and COVID, Anisimova was on a really strong and winning trajectory.
  10. Oh man, Meatloaf R.I.P.
  11. I don't know why people are so shocked that Amanda Anisimova could win that match. As much as I love Naomi, based on what Anisimova has gone through in the last couple years, I knew Amanda would be hungry and based on how she handled Bencic, I knew Anisimova would be confident and coming to win. I don't do draw sheets or predictions but, at the very least, I knew Osaka would have a fight on her hands with Anisimova.
  12. What an egregious set of acts committed over such a long period of time. Truly awful.
  13. That "Siuuu" chant is so Stiuuupid!
  14. Being in the midst of watching B&B: From The Beginning, I'm seeing a number of minor characters portrayed by actors that make me wonder whatever happened to them? For instance: Stacey (the character and the actress' first name) from Griffey's diner, where Rocco Carnet and later, Donna Logan worked. Also, every Black character on early B&B, like -Valerie, the Art Director for Eye On Fashion magazine, played by Michelle Lamar Richards. -Fawn The Fit Model at Forrester Creations. *Apparently, I have found her, she is Stephanie Cumberland* https://www.presenting-you.com/about-stephanie-cumberland/ -There was another Black woman at FC, I think she may have been an Admin or Executive Assistant? I think the character might have been named Vivian? An actress name Angelique De Windt played Vivian, but I am not even sure this is the character who worked at Forrester. Apparently, De Windy runs a company called B. Loved Productions? I just saw this and am trying to read about what they do. https://www.blovedentertainment.com/education
  15. For the majority of her run, Dolan experienced a very different ATWT than Colin and HBS. Similar to how vastly different Amanda Seyfried views her experience as a young actress on ATWT from say, Martha Byrne or Julianne Moore. It was a different show. Ellen may have begun her run under a Marland pen, but things had already begun to change (as Laurence Caso was the Exec. Producer by then) and would drastically change by the mid 1990s. In the end, she spent many more years in a completely different environment from the one in the 1980s where Colin and HBS performed. Nothing against the movie, as I enjoyed it, but it was the aspect of asking more about her time on the movie than the reason why most people would tune in for the reunion livestream, because let's face it, no exclusive movie fans would tune into this YT livestream in the first place. By the way, how many views did this video get? I guess I could check myself.
  16. Tennis journalists like Ben need to keep on Tiley to get him to answer these questions and then sports journalists need to succeed the tennis journalists, and then the mainstream journalists after that. The people in charge of this sport are doing a grave disservice to the people who follow and support this sport. Speaking of which, are these folks greedy or what?!
  17. That goes to show how much I remember her- I don't even think about her anymore.
  18. ESPN seems to be making an especial effort in making it that much harder for fans to see and enjoy tennis. They get worse every year.
  19. Machine, Sinema, Tim Scott. Such horrible humans. Republicans, well, they're a given, but those Senators mentioned above pretend to be principled but they're not and now they can't hide it as they've been attempting to.
  20. Thanks @Faulkner. When Virgil Abloh passed away, it was an almost non-stop Twitter stream on the Vogue account. It will be interesting to see if Vogue will do more today and in the coming days to memorialize ALT.
  21. Speaking of voting rights law inaction and self-described moderates getting in the way, This was has been trending topic today-
  22. To read see ALT in his interviews about his memoirs in his final years, to see how forlorn he sometimes appeared, even amidst the bravado, it made for such a contrast of having seen him out and about in NYC over a dozen years ago. May he now find some rest. Has Vogue formed a response yet?
  23. Chris Bernau definitely did so much for that character- he was that good. When you see what came after, it was obvious how much of a factor Bernau had been in that character's success.
