I was told that episode #10374 (August 9th) would mark as Beth's first episode as interim head writer, but I guess it seems like she won't be listed as IHW at all? Do soaps even list IHWs? Was Gordon Rayfield listed first during his interim run before being named co-HW for AMC? Any other examples of IHWs? Anyone know?

Was Beth is the credits though....in the breakdowns?

I agree. It's time a for a break from them. I think they've needed these past four weeks though. It helped get people caring about the story - one way or another. People really want to see A/C exposed now - for one reason or another.

On another note, today's episode was brilliant. Just brilliant. I loved all the history nods about Philip and Bo/Steve and even Carrie/Austin/Mike.

It was sort of like [s.W.S.N.B.N.]'s WOST interview turned into a script when you think of all the "history" that was squeezed into the dialogue. LOL!!!

Okay in honor of the rekindled bro-ship of Bo and Steve, I loaded an old clip to Youtube. The clip is an old flashback to their days in Stockholm, before Bo put out Steve's eye. They're at Helga's with Britta, totally drunk and trying to sing "Blinded by the Light"

You can read and hear anything. Believe nothing you hear and only believe half with a grain of salt what you read. I believe what I see as it happens and sometimes that even is misleading.

For instance, [!@#$%^&*] has been gone weeks and weeks. The stories then were that she had none of her work aired except one and she couldn't be given credit for it until Aug. 8th. That is what I read and heard. So, if that is true, then she had nothing to do with today's show but was actually shown in the credits due to an agreement I ASSUME because that is the way it was told at the time. At the time, I wondered why they had to wait until Aug. 8th to give her credit. Maybe because JER had to be gone. Now, if JER and KB both are in the credits, that's goofy. I give up. If Corday wants the true story out, he can tell it. I'm not holding my breath.

This glove sure knows when to show up at the best times, doesn't it! It was great to see the glove suddenly appear behind Shawn and Philip at the hospital. Of course, in a perfect world, someone would notice somebody running around in the middle of August with black gloves on, but that's beside the point. And how great was it to have Bo and Philip share the Salem brain? I'm also glad Phil brought up Vivian. It would have made no sense if he didn't.

Austin and Carrie still have it, and Mimi, well she's going to be feasting on some serious crow in the near future. I can't wait for the drag queen to get what she deserves!

Boof wrote the dialogue for today's episode therefore she was credited as the scriptwriter (scriptwriter's always show up at the end of the writing credits after "AND"). Scripts are written at least 2 months in advance of the airdate so she wrote it before she was fired.

Darn! Sounds like I missed a REALLY good episode. Too bad [!@#$%^&*] couldn't stay as a script-writer, sounds like she really did her homework and added backbones and layers to characters that have lacked it.

Well over on WOST, [!@#$%^&*] is accepting congratulations right now about the fact that she wrote today's episode. She even talked about writing it, and yes, today JER and Boof were BOTH on the credits.
