August 8, 200619 yr Member This so did not feel like a JER show but it really hasn't of late. I feel as though Beth has had a hand in these shows over the last week, especially last Thursday's and today's. We had so many different character interactions that I liked like Sami/Bo, Bo/Steve, Sami/Steve, and then some great scenes with Belle/Mimi and Shawn/Philip. I just feel alot of that was Beth just like I feel alot of what we have been seeing over the last 5-8 days has been Beth. If [!@#$%^&*] did write this, she did a pretty good job. There was lotso history mentions and just a very good feel to the show. It actually was well put together and was really the first non-SLG episode that has been well put together in weeks IMO. I hope she pops up on another show. [s.W.S.N.B.N.] wrote today's episodes, not Beth Milstein. Peter and Stephen are just standing there, having a chat, and have so much chemistry. Two great actors at work. Aren't they great! I think they should show those two a lot more often.

I have missed them on-screen together. It's time for Bo's story to end, so he can help his brother-in-law and best friend find out what happened to him.
August 8, 200619 yr Member I liked how history was mentioned several times in regards to current developments. Bo & Steve rehashed Stockholm (and Greta). Carrie brought up cheating on Austin with Mike as well as her current situation of cheating on Lucas with Austin ("What's wrong with me?!"). Philip brought up Vivian's theft of Kate's egg which resulted in Philip. I also liked the character interactions (Steve/Bo, Sami/Bo). I liked how Bo/Steve are again "Bros", how Austin/Carrie (clearly the desired endcouple) are now sharing stolen moments and glances while being kept apart (not necessarily by the schemes of others) but by Carrie's sense of duty, propriety, and responsibiliy. I like the parallel of how Philip & Shawn are attempting to make the best of a bad situation while Belle & Mimi are in another room squaring off against each other (with Mimi declaring war on Belle). And I liked how characters have suddenly grown brains (Bo cleverly and accurately deduced Kate as the guilty party in the evidence theft, the most likely suspect all along; while everyone is accurately deducing that the egg switch wasn't an accident; and Sami decided to actually *do* something about the blackmailer --- even going to her Uncle Bo). This episode was logical and involving. Definitely *not* JER. I agree totally.
August 8, 200619 yr Member Peter and Stephen are just standing there, having a chat, and have so much chemistry. Two great actors at work. I'd really like to be in between that chemistry - in a number of ways!
August 8, 200619 yr Member I'd really like to be in between that chemistry - in a number of ways! Now, tell us how you REALLY feel!
August 8, 200619 yr Member I'd really like to be in between that chemistry - in a number of ways! LMAO!!!!! You need to be writing the damn show KReilly. I've said it before and I was serious.
August 8, 200619 yr Member *Toups, wearing his "JER is God" t-shirt, sits in the corner by himself as he watches everyone else party.* Toups, you really are a sweetie. You're not a fair weather fan...I admire that.
August 8, 200619 yr Member It is great to see Bo and Steve's friendship remembered, and Bo was actually allowed to figure out the obvious. Now if Kate actually faces consequences for bribing a cop, then the new writers have officially arrived!
August 8, 200619 yr Member Won't be able to watch the show tonight, but i'm so glad that Bo and Steve are getting to interact...I was a little disapointed when first came back and they only got a quick minute interaction... They have a rich history together, and i'm glad we are getting to see them helping each other..

Yes, yes, yes! Love them on screen together. I hope we get to see them work together / hang out together a lot in the future. LOVED how Steve let Bo tell his whole story then grinned and said "Yeah, I know." / "sorry, you were on a roll." Also enjoyed all the Steve-isms "put me on permanent pause," "restore the ol' hard drive," "lights are on but nobody's home." Peter was great in the scenes too. They just have so much chemistry together. As for the Austin/Carrie and Mimi/Belle stuff, I'd have liked it a lot better if I didn't feel like I'd been watching them have the same conversation for about 5 days now. Oh wait, I have.
August 8, 200619 yr Member Now, if they can just get MeMe, Philip, Shawn and Belle off the screen for awhile, and wrap up this awful A/S/L/C story, Days will really start taking shape. It has gotten better in the past week.
August 8, 200619 yr Member Actually I enjoyed Mimi giving it to Belle today. She deserves everything Mimi dishes out to her. Of course, Belle will have her day and then the shoe will be on the other foot. Both are the pits of female examples. I hope the new writers send them all off for a very long time and give us the vets and the new teens who hopefully will develop into lovable and watchable characters. I also enjoyed Mimi giving it to Belle. I also agree that Corday and Sheffer should just write this whole quad off the canvas. Shawn and Belle were a mistake from beginning to end and none of the actors are anything to write home about. The only part of today's show I really liked was Steve and Bo. I look forward to the both of them being in scenes together. I loved the nod to their past history.

That starts tomorrow.
August 8, 200619 yr Member I believe that Beth Milstein is going to get it together. She really knows this show like the back of her hand and the new outlines are 100% Beth, no JER. That starts tomorrow. That's good to hear. I like all four actors and characters, but this story just seems like it has been written from one day to the next. Now, I only want Belle to stay in the other storyline. Shawn will be recasted, and maybe Philip too. I think I know how everyone feels about Meems.
August 8, 200619 yr Member I missed the writers credits. Were they shown? I think yesterday and today had to have been written by the same person as they have a whole new feel to them. Much more together and real with feeling. If memory serves me correctly, JER's last plot was to have been played out by yesterday. He quit the middle of May leaving Days without a HW but a scramble to fill in until Hogan could come made a huge challenge for the future of the show. Also, I remember reading that [!@#$%^&*] did not do any writing that was actually aired. This is controversial as she supposedly did something but one day was supposed to have been hers and her credits would not show up until the 8th even though she was long gone and hadn't actually done anything we saw. Now, that is what I've read in different places. I would like to have given her credit for the awful mess we have been exposed to, the "whose the daddy" with Hope, etc., and everyone with the wrong person and personality changes to suit the sl, but guess not. Hopefully she wouldn't want to be associated with those black days. Yesterday and today remind me of the best of Days and I'm so looking forward to the new pathway Hogan and team will create for us. Personally, I'm loving EJ and Stephanie, the two characters he has been credited with instigating. Also, the black glove is intriguing. The mysteries will soon become evident, I'm thinking.
