[S.W.S.N.B.N.] wrote today's episodes, not Beth Milstein.

Aren't they great!

I think they should show those two a lot more often.

I know that but I was just saying I feel Beth's presence in the writing the last week or os. Things have just felt different, especially yesterday and today. Kold did do a great job today though.

I am so excited about what is ahead!! :D

I also enjoyed Mimi giving it to Belle.

I also agree that Corday and Sheffer should just write this whole quad off the canvas. Shawn and Belle were a mistake from beginning to end and none of the actors are anything to write home about.

I totally agree. The last two years have been completely awful with two awful characters. Belle was written very poorly which aggravated the heck out of me as she is John and Marlena's daughter who should have been given a real princess life, college, career smart marriage and kids, with trauma to keep us interested instead of this pitiful sl. Shawn's character was assassinated, too, which is dreadful because he is the son of Bo and Hope. It would have been better for the history of the characters to have written them off to college and off screen instead of what we have to remember.....in my personal opinion.

JER is still credited in the Canadian Day Ahead eppy for tomorrow.

Maybe he's not credited in the U.S. tomorrow. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

On another note, today's episode was brilliant. Just brilliant. I loved all the history nods about Philip and Bo/Steve and even Carrie/Austin/Mike. You can just tell JER is GONE!

But, I do have to give him credit. When he started writing in August or September '03, he pretty much started off with the SSK storyline. That was fantastic! I will always praise him for raising the show's ratings and making it incredibly exciting and intriguing from Sept. till Marlena "died" on the roof of the Salem Jail.

I just know he will make Passions into the way it used to be. Hell, he's already started that! B)

Just as long as he is writing Passions. By Friday, it will be Beth's show, and then by next month, HS will be on-board.

Is Belle leaving too? I heard that somewhere.

LMAO!!!!!

You need to be writing the damn show KReilly. I've said it before and I was serious.

Hehe! Thanks!

I love Peter Reckell to death, but I have to say the six episode break from his story was A-MAZ-ING.

I was told that episode #10374 (August 9th) would mark as Beth's first episode as interim head writer, but I guess it seems like she won't be listed as IHW at all? Do soaps even list IHWs? Was Gordon Rayfield listed first during his interim run before being named co-HW for AMC? Any other examples of IHWs? Anyone know?

Was Beth is the credits though....in the breakdowns?

Exactly. It was nice to see his story have a break. He's pretty much been busy since at least January... Zack's death.

Now that Bo's storyline is back into focus, maybe we can have a break from some other storylines. Dare I say the Austin/Carrie/Sami/Lucas storyline? LOL. They've been on for at least 2-3 straight weeks! Enough.

I agree. It's time a for a break from them. I think they've needed these past four weeks though. It helped get people caring about the story - one way or another. People really want to see A/C exposed now - for one reason or another.

Yes, he was listed first.

Thanks, Jackie.

Well, whether JER is credited or not, we know this isn't his material.

Welcome back to DAYS, Beth Milstein!

As for Boof, I thought it was a good script.

I agree. I've been hard on Boof, but I give credit where it's due. I think today's script really gave Austin signs of having a backbone. "You have no business being with my brother!" Reow!

I also loved fierce Mimi going off on Belle. I thought Mimi had good dialogue today too.

They need to end the never ending quads. Let A/S hook up move S/L together into a triangle with EJ.

Let S/B move into a domestic house with all their children. Have Mimi pay for what she's done.
