August 9, 200619 yr Member Hi Toups, I promise to try and not say anything else about her. I honestly don't know what my fascination is. I know it seems to some like that's all I talk about. I've just been so amused every since I heard her name alone. She's just so different I guess. But I never have understood the hatred some people have for this woman we don't even know. I think it's a sign of greatness myself. Meaning= a sign of greatness that people feel so PASSIONATE about this lady by just the mention of her name. It's like a new soap character who's really interesting. I feel the same way...it is the uniqueness of her situation, the mystery that surrounds her, but mostly the fact that she COULD have done alot with the cardboard cut-outs that have become the DAYS characters. Who knows. There is so much speculation, it just gets dragged out. Sufice it to say, she's gone, and Days has moved on. No need to kill you. Welcome aboard. Thanks Roman :-) Question - whose house is shown in your reply?
August 9, 200619 yr Member Thank you Toups. I appreciate the support on my first day of posting :-) Me too....I love her bitchy side. Go Team Mimi! She put Ms.Belle on notice.
August 9, 200619 yr Member [s.W.S.N.B.N.] wrote this episode and I thought E.J. had some really great lines for a change. What was that about getting out of Sami's way? Um, screw that, what was that about "I'm a leper?" THAT SHOCKED THE HELL OUT OF ME!!! What did EJ mean by that? CERTAINLY it wasn't just a throwaway line. I'm DYING in suspense to find out what's going on there?! How is EJ a leper?!!! If this WAS indeed JER's last show, it sure didn't feel like one. Character interaction between Bo and Patch. Wow. Novel concept, Days, you ought to think about doing this more. Maybe the character interaction was good but, damn, how f'ing STUIPID is Bo? I mean, Kate is one of the richest people in Salem, right? So if I were Bo, and knew Kate has been playing God with her children's lives forever, and that billie is 'good' and that Kate sees Chelsea as the daughter she never had because she's good and 'bad', and again she has all this money, then I would FIRST think of that !@#$%^&*]. I just can't believe how stupid Bo is. "Thanks for the lead." Um, are you even a detective Bo Brady? Did you really need an amnesiac Steve to toss you that MINISCULE clue? You IDIOT!!! Just as long as he is writing Passions. By Friday, it will be Beth's show, and then by next month, HS will be on-board. Oh, believe me, he's definitely WRITING "Passions" again! (Can't wait to see JER UN-tamed again; I will always believe his largest failures this tenure were NOT his fault.)
August 9, 200619 yr Member Something that has gotten on my nerves is people refraining from talking about the actual episode in certain posts. This isn't a [s.W.S.N.B.N.] thread, is it? I know I'm not a moderator, but it's still grating my nerves. We had month sof speculation about her. I'm sick of hearing about her. I don't care if she wrote the script today. She's gone. Wah. Life goes on. Aside from Steve/Bo, nothing really happened today until the end. There were some nice interactions, but it was just so transition. So Mr. or Mrs. Gloved Hand is standing right near Shawn and Phil. They probably didn't see him, but seeing as he was so close, if they were to recognize him, that'd be it. I think it's a minion. I still say Vic. I loved Steve/Bo. I loved Sami/Bo. [!@#$%^&*], I just loved Bo today. It's been a long time since I've been able to say that. The truloveforever crap is getting on my nerves. Carrie, I loved today, while she fought--not so valiantly--for what she supposedly believes in. I was gagging until she brought up Mike and breaking her wedding vows once before, and feeling disgusted for doing it again. Mimi and Belle was mildly entertaining, but filler. I could tell Reilly didn't write it. Belle didn't get anymore cramps after all that stressin'. I liked Philip/Shawn. They were actually just having a conversation. They weren't at each other's throats. Ah, non-couple relationships. I have missed you! It seems the term Salem Brain may have to go to bed. Philip, Bo, and Steve were all in possession today.
August 9, 200619 yr Member It seems the term Salem Brain may have to go to bed. Philip, Bo, and Steve were all in possession today. I'm sorry, BO was in possession of the brain? Um, no. I disagree. Again, if I were Bo, I would have IMMEDIATELY looked at Kate in that courtroom, the SECOND that screen turned snowy. I mean, how could you not? After all she's done in the name of her children? And now this INCREDIBLE scandal and setup that especially rips Bo and Hope apart? I mean, come ON! I've said it once and I'll say it again: Bo is an IDIOT.
August 9, 200619 yr Member Ugh! All this is so confusing so for me. Do I start watching today since apparently [!@#$%^&*] Boofs script was great? Do I want until Hogan arrives? I just don't want to tune in for the interim headwriter and it's the same ole crap. I tuned in when everyone was saying how great Days is getting...didn't see it. I'll check out todays episode and see. What I really can't wait for is HOGAN!

The wondeful Southfork Ranch form the classic tv show Dallas. I love that house. My grandmother went there, and said she was so surprised by how small the pool was. Did anyone else notice Sami saying "Hi Uncle Steve" when she walked by him? BTW, isn't that the first time she ever saw him?
August 9, 200619 yr Member Did anyone else notice Sami saying "Hi Uncle Steve" when she walked by him? BTW, osn't that the first time she ever saw him? She saw him one morning in the Brady Pub when he and Kayla were eating breakfast. We only saw her speaking to Kayla as she walked away from the table, but the implication was that she'd been talking to both of them.

He had no chance of having the intelligence to think of her then. And that besides, despair can be blinding. Often, something is right in front of your face, and you can't find it, because you're searching too hard. So, yes, he definitely had a portion of the Salem Brain today, because he certainly used it, and he hasn't for a long, long time - since B&C wrote the Larry Welch story.
August 9, 200619 yr Member Finally got to watch..and it was a very entertaining episode...Austin and Carrie were great today..I loved their dialouge..it was great hearing austin say that love sucks, and admit that Lucas is the love of Sami's life, so why she should be stuck with someone who doesn't really love her...i also enjoyed Carrie getting upset over having cheated again...Christie and Austin have really impressed me this week..I"m finally enjoying this storyline.. Sami and EJ were okay...Sami had one line i loved.."I'm Sami Brady, no one blackmails me and gets away with it"...awesome...Her scenes with Bo were very good..Its always nice to see Ali enteract with other actors, because she's got great chemistry with everyone... Mimi and Belle---wow, i haven't enjoyed these two so much in so long..Awesome dialouge...there were so many moments were i was just smiling... Phillip suspecting foul play was great, glad he's considering that after what happened with Vivian.. Bo and Steve-- what a treat...loved bo talking about the past...and the handshake was great..This is the most i enjoyed Bo in a longtime..Oh and i was happy when Bo demanded that Kate come in for question...Bring the !@#$%^&*] down Bo... on a personal note, even after editing. i said the word great way too many times..Sorry guys..
August 9, 200619 yr Member I wouldn't hire her, because she may sabotage AMC to help out DAYS. That would be so amazing and hilarious. LOL. AMC doesn't need sabotaging though. It is so bad. Watching it now gives me motion sickness. Their cameramen and directors should be shot. I totally agree. Thier dialogue was amazing. Peck and Clark are really taking me back to 11 years ago when their magic was at its peak. I feel like I am 12 again!
August 9, 200619 yr Member I'm STILL miffed why I'm the only one who's mentioned the MOST Intriguing line from Tuesday's show. After Sami went on her tirade of how she would have to live in a leper colony if everyone learned the truth of her Caustin sabotage... EJ said to himself, "I'm a leper..." Couldn't you DIE? How intriguing was that line? WTF?!!
August 9, 200619 yr Member Then you missed a VERY significant moment in "Days of Our Lives" history, KR! That was a clue! And you missed it!! And I'm DYING to find out what the hell it meant. It obviously wasn't a throway line. So why did he say it? Why is EJ a leper? Are the rumors true and he's really Benji and he feels he is a leper because he WAS deaf and now he's not? It's IMPOSSIBLY intriguing! And the possibilities are LIMITLESS!!!
August 9, 200619 yr Member I too finally watched 8/8 episode late last night but I had one bone to pick with the episode and it involved Steve and Bo. It really made my skin crawl regarding the "brothers" dialogue when it SHOULD be Matt Ashford's Jack helping Steve discover his past. I understand and appreciate the writers' history that was involved with the Steve/Bo scene but would have preferred this scene (and many others) to be Jack/Steve.
