A few years ago, AMC was so great. What moment for you changed it? From what i have read and seen most people have taken a dislike to it. What was the moment that made it change for you?

For me, it was all the stories surronding babies. I loved the Bianca/Babe story. After that it became too much. So I guess the moment that Greg Madden came on and was shoved into the Greenlee/Kendall storyline, the unabortion, and the Erica/Dixie storyline changed it for me. It has just dropped the story way downhill which sucks because I love Ian Bucananan and think they wasted him.

DAYS started being ruined the second Marlena died after the serial killings. It was like a football game. They gave her the ball, she ran with it (to quote Corday) and they won the first period. Then Marlena dies and they lose the game.

Kelly Monaco coming on as Sam killed GH for me as if ALW being on wasn't bad enough.

Lizzie sleeping with Jon on GL and getting pregnant is a real turn off, I can barely watch the show now.

I stopped watching Days when Reilly came back - can't stand his brand of writing

The breakdown and scene writing on Days. Mainly the breakdown writing. It can be excruciating to watch an episode when this is what happens every 5 minutes:

Character A: "I can't let Character B ever find out what I've done!"

Character B (appearing in doorway): "It's too late -- I know!"

[commercial break]

Character B: "You didn't want me to know that you talk to yourself because you were worried I'd think you were crazy! Teehee! LOL!"

Repeat repeat repeat.

ATWT-- They let Emily off scott free for all she has done. I knew she would never go to prison, but mental help should have been manditory. I can't even bear to watch her walking around free.

I guess the real issue is that the writers take the characters too far over the edge. It makes for a good storyline, but it does long term damage to the character. As far as I'm concerned, Emily is ruined. I'll never like her as a character again.

Let's see....

OLTL:

- The misuse of Lindsay, Nora, RJ, Vikki, Marcie, and Michael

- The "Spencer" show

- The death of Margaret Cochran <---- that's the one that really did it for me I want to punch Dena Higley everytime I think about it.

GH:

- The misuse of Tracy, Edward, Allen, Monica, Luke, Helena, and other vets.

- Making everything about Carly, Jason, Sonny, and Sam. I know that they've done that for a few years now, but these past few months have just been ridiculous with Sonny overload.

AMC - Making the Carey Whores the show's moral compass. Everything has to be approved by these two sluts, and if not, then we're supposed to think it's baaaaad!

I'm sorry, but JR holding KWAK at gunpoint, and wanting to kill Babe in a pile of cynder blocks... kinda made me giddy!

Same goes for me, I hate the Carey hobags, and they've ruined Adam and JR.

Now Dixie is runing the show for me like Ryan did last year as well.

Focus on only the Lavery's and Carey's and having them not only take over the show but using some of my beloved vets to constantly redeem them

This entire Josh the almost aborted fetus story. I hate every minute of it

AMC-I've barely watched since they had Dani sleeping with Erica's abortion instead of Reggie. Most teen couples are so annoying and I thought they were kind of cute.

One Life-too many newbies, too many isolated stories, too much propping of the writers' favorite characters. No love scene for the one married couple on the show.

ATWT: Emily/Paul/Meg has completely stalled and has done a lot of damage to all three characters. Which is truly unfortunate, because what they were doing at the beginning of the year -- Emily's descent into madness, shooting Paul in the back, Meg and Paul fighting their attraction in the cabin -- was fabulous and fascinating, and now it has turned into a sodden mess. I thought Meg never wanted to be a farmgirl, she wanted "city life". So all the cheesy Snyder Farm scenes ring false for both characters. Emily breezed right through almost no therapy and then got off the hook, her obsession with Paul intact. And Paul is...ugh. I have no idea who he is or what he wants, because I never believe anything he says to either Meg or Emily or anyone.

AMC the character propping of Babe, Krystal, Jonathan, and Dixie is turning me off the show, especially since that propping is coming at the expense of more popular characters

The brutal, special episode rape and subsequent impregnation, cruel mental torture of Bianca Montgomery Daytime's first major core family lesbian character. And THAT gem was her first swing in the batter's box of her most recent tenure and somehow things managed over time to only get worse. [!@#$%^&*] you, Megan McTavish.
