July 16, 200619 yr Member Whatever happens, I just hope that there fans are satisified. They deserve some happiness. Money, we really don't know for sure if Matt was fired or if he left on his own. I am sure someone will ask Matt, at the fan event in Greenville. And get this all cleard up.
July 17, 200619 yr Member As long as the fans of J&J are happy with the end, it's all good. With Beth Milstein writing I really think they will get a good sendoff. She knows the characters so I look forward to it. Not them leaving but to whatever they are given when they leave. Whatever happens, I just hope that there fans are satisified. They deserve some happiness. Money, we really don't know for sure if Matt was fired or if he left on his own. I am sure someone will ask Matt, at the fan event in Greenville. And get this all cleard up. Yeah Chanel-I am hoping we get something from Matt. I know no one at Days will talk-they have barely spoken about anything of late so I hope Matt sets the record straight.
July 17, 200619 yr Author Member I'd assume there will be an interview with Matt/Missy in the magazines when Jack/Jen are about to leave Salem. BTW, the Soap Opera Central site is confirming Matt was fired, just after signing a new contract.
July 17, 200619 yr Member Well, that would certainly be lackluster and sucky. Not to mention inconsistent, sin ce Jen's already forgiven him. She knows Jack too well to mad at him over something she knows he thinks he had to do. Being cured may definitely be something more for Jennifer to deal with, but she'll be happy to have her husband back. Ride off into the sunset may be overdone, but between the abused J&J fans and the abused J&J, do they really deserve less? There should be something quirky about it (like Bree's suggestion), but there should be closure. I agree! I don't see J/J fans accepting anything less than a true happy ending, if anyone deserves and has earned it J/J fans have
July 17, 200619 yr Member Jack gets his miracle cure, and Frankie graciously steps out of the running to allow Jennifer and Jack to reunite. Jack and Jenn renew their vows as a way to sort of "invalidate" the Frankie/Jenn wedding, and decide to take a second honeymoon to Africa, to visit Laura and Bill. Jack and Jennifer arrive in Africa and end up deciding to stay to help Bill and Laura run the clinic. Abby is forced to choose between giving up her life in Salem to join her family, or remain in Salem and live with Kayla, Patch, and Stephanie. Ultimately, she decides to stay in Salem.
