That Maddie has a past is understandable, buuuuuttt , it would have made much more sense if TIIC had revealed some of it when she first came to town. How many people leave home to go live in a car unless something was terribly wrong. Henry never checked( or did he ) and no one has called to check on Maddie(or have they ). SPEAKING OF HENRY WTH IS HE!!!

Could it be that Simon/Vienna are both con artists??? We know about Simon but what about Vienna-- something she say last week about the rich people on the boat makes me think she is also a con artist. In any case I like Vienna because -- Katie is soooooooo jealous of her.

I haven't been posting in ATWT threads much lately, so I have aside from posting about today's eppy, I have a couple of general comments, too.

I hope it doesn't turn out that Dallas did something to harm Maddie. I mean, with Jessica hardly on and Ben nowhere to be seen, I'd hate for the only two Black characters regularly on the show (yeah, one's bi-racial) to be villians.

I'm surprised at how Casey has kinda grown on me. A year ago, I couldn't stand the character and thought Zach Roerig was horrible. But, he's definitely improved and Casey isn't the ass he used to be.

It looks like Jennifer is going to do something stupid and put her and her child's life in jeopardy. I don't get this obsessive worry over Craig, who's in prison. Is he supposed to be the new James Stenbeck?

I have never understood the Craig obsession either and I've chalked it up to poor writing because unless he is indeed coming back ( to much unfinished business for him not to ) what is the point. There are many actors other than Hunt Block who could do justice to the part.

At one point when watching the show, I thought Jennifer had some sort of feeling that something more was wrong with her and she wanted to spend time with Johnny; but when she started using Craig on Lucy as a way to get what she wanted, then I figured she was just going to blow off what Bob said and do what she wants.

Dusty "Dirtbag" Donovan...first he barks for Paul to go home and leave Jennifer alone; constantly telling him that she can't be put under stress....Um, did Dusty think that he too was the possible cause of Jennifer getting stressed to the point of getting sick? Nope, of course not...The first person he blamed when she collapsed was Paul...He'd blame Paul if Jennifer couldn't make the sun shine if he had the chance.

Then, when Paul does leave, Dusty barks on the phone for him to get to Bob's office in five minutes...First of all, whatever it was he had to tell Paul could have been said in the phone call he made; second, since when does he rule the hospital to the point where he can go and set up meetings in anyone's office whenever he feels like it?

Gwen better wake up when it comes to Jade...Jade doing that song and dance about how she's not there to hurt Will or Gwen; sure, but she'll dangle that one night stand over Will's head the first chance she gets.

I would have laughed if, instead of Barbara coming to the door, it would have been Carly coming back home or even Jack to see Gwen offering room and board to folks.

Finally, Katie isn't fooling anybody...She says she wants to "protect" Vienna from Simon. Hmmm...sounds to me that no matter who Simon was with, even if it was a woman that was nice, she would still have a problem with it.

I can't fault Dusty for blaming someone, that's what people do when someone they love is sick, we lash out at people.

Awww I hope Maddie wasn't sexually abused or anything WHERE IS HENRY????? He should be involved in this storyline, it is his sister after all.

I hate to complain, but can people PLEASE stop revealing spoilers on these threads? It's happened twice already on the ATWT threads here, and one of them was a pretty big spoiler. I know it's hard and I've been guilty of doing it in the past, but I stopped reading spoilers a few weeks ago, and I know that there are other ATWT viewers on the board who don't read them as well. Thanks

Anyway, I thought today's episode was pretty good. It was a good start to hopefully a better week.

--I wonder what's up w/ Maddie. I'm glad, though, that she and Casey didn't "do it" at Tom and Margo's house...just like I was relieved when they didn't do it at Lisa's place.

--Dusty is such a jerk. Couldn't he use a better place to yell at Paul, instead of Bob's office? Dr. Bob needs to lock his office.

--I liked seeing Barbara today. Will and Gwen are stupid!! Jade is totally playing those two losers, and I couldn't be happier!

--Simon and Katie were good, as always. Oh Mike...go jump off the boat please! I'm sick of him. He's dragging Katie down. But did I sense something between Mike and Vienna??

If Maddie was sexually abused, then that's just stupid because there has been no hint that the girl has such deep issues since she first came into town. She was practically begging Casey to have sex with her...

Jennifer needs to let go of her obsession and look at the bigger picture. I don't see how being with Johnny is going to help if they both are sick.

Okay, I like Simon & Katie..but I've had enough of Katie blaming Simon for hurting her..she's hurt him just as much. I don't get why Simon has to grovel..yeah, faking his death and siccing Pilar on her and Mike was pretty bad but Katie is no saint and she needs to stop acting so self-righteous. Mike can also jump off the boat and let the sharks feed off of him..I really hope they don't plan on sticking him with Vienna.

The problem that I have with Dusty is that he is no longer that mysteriously suave "older" man he was when he came back to town and during his LucyI days. He and Paul go at each other like they are lovers. It's time for them to either open another can of whup-ass on each other or kiss. However even after all of this I still like him( I think it's the way he calls Jennifer- "Jenny/Red").

Okay it's time for Barbar to find a man. Damian is available--JokeDale would go nuts with that union and Jade would still be in the picture. It's time for Jade and Damian's motives to be revealed.

Nothing's worse than reading: Jennifer looks so happy today, I can't believe she'll be mugged and viciously raped by twenty men next week. After that, she'll find out she's pregnant and Dusty will leave her to hook up with Barbara.

I couldn't believe Will felt it was ok to walk around the house shirtless with another chick there. I wonder how he would feel if casey took his shirt and walked around in front of Gwen.

Jennifer having pneumonia isn't believable to me. My kids have had it and its great big barking coughs not this dainty coughing Jennifer has been doing. And there is the fact that she is sick and she wants to be with her child that just got better. Thats putting Johnny at risk for getting sick again.

Maddie may have been abused, but does it haveto be sexually?. They could have dated and he psychologically abused her. I hate how all soaps do sexual abuse. There are so many different types of abuse out there that could be explored.

I didn't watch before when Simon(Paul) was on...but I could definitely go for a Skatie pairing!

I hope Maddie will be able to get through whatever's troubling her...and we'll see more of Henry. I love the brother/sister relationship of Henry/Maddie.
