I don't think it needs to do a quick about face - that has been way too much of the problem is the quick rewrites of stories the fans don't like.

Days is doing relatively okay overall. It went up .2 this week and just a few weeks ago it was at 2.8 - a mark I am sure it will hit again in June and may even surpass. And it will do it without a quick undo of things.

Shoot if all the Jack fans who say they have quit watching because of no Jack will tune back in to see him as they have promised then it will rise again soon when he returns. Of course we will have to wait and see if he makes that much difference.

The show is up in viewers from last year and is right in there in the midst of the middle soaps every week - going up and down like all of them.

Agreed Steve. Enough with the changes that have done nothing but watered down the show in the last few years. Let the summer play out with the returns and all and then talk to mev about changes. Whatever Days does the fans won't be happy. Whether its a writing change, couples reuniting, or whatever the fans will still find something to complain about and then we are back to square one again.

I am very interested in seeing how many people come out for Jack's return but it should also be noted that the week he returns is also the week of John/Alex's climax. The week of May 15 should rock for Days.

No you didn't-I have been saying for months that Y&R would have a drop because every soaps that moved to Soapnet had one and ever since they have not had the same ratings they did before the move. I wish they would find a way to count Soapnet in the ratings-I think all 5 shows would have better numbers, it might not be much but it would be noticeable and let's face it every number means something nowadays.

They won't be there long KR. The week of May 15 will be the beginning of Days' big ratings push with Jack returning and John/Alex. From that point on I expect to see Days higher and then in June the numbers will explode.

If I didn't know anything good was going to happen I would be worried so I am not. Also, Days' numbers are down but look at everyone above them. One little surge and Days is 3rd so its nothing to worry about. In September if they are still where they are then start worrying.

As for Y&R, they are gonna start declining a bit mark my words. They are a great show but every show on Soapnet experienced a drop of some sort and they still can't get the numbers they had prior to being aired on Soapnet. Y&R is already getting low dailies on some days so the theory seems to be true.

With the exception of PASS, which isn't even on the radar screen as far as ratings are concerned, every show had its least viewed day as last Friday. Don't think this means anything re: ATWT and GL. I wish we could get SoapNet ratings. They used to report them on, at least, a quarterly basis.

Amen! I think Soily has worsened the ratings, as well as the fan fare. It used to be that anyone who Sonny paired up with (or had the potential of pairing up with) became an instant hit. I remember on the polls, at one time Sonny and Carly, Sonny and Brenda, and Sonny and Alexis were all in the top 10 AT THE SAME EFFING TIME! It was pathetic!
