BTG: November 2026 Discussion Thread

Here is to a great November on BTG.

Look at TT getting it started 💙💙

I don't think any other soap cast loves to dance as much as this one.

SMH.

And as a dancer, God bless them for it. Love seeing a happy set.

In that video. Ms. Tunie is dancing at an Emmys afterparty. That party must've been so much fun.

Ignore them. They likely are still pissed Michele Val Jean and the NAACP ignored their horrible "comic", and still considers them bootlickers.

I never watch those little award shows, but I sure was happy to hear this morning that Miss Tamara won. (And Ambyr Michelle)

Writers:
Natalie Minardi Slater
G. Fulton Ponder

Director:
Steven Williford

I usually like the dialogue on this show, except when the Duprees start patting themselves on the back on how perfect they are. Nobody speaks the way Martin just spoke about Vernon and Anita. It's so unnatural.

Thoughts:

• Well, at least Dani is being honest with Andre about going to see Bill. A big step. Doughnuts? Give me some of those. Especially chocolate-glazed ones. Yummy in my tummy.

• 36 hours? That is a lot but also not enough! And yay! Tyrell is home!

• Oo-wee, the chemistry between Anita and Vernon continues to spark and be palpable. I adore them together. So much.

• Bradley and Martin's reaction to finding out that Hayley is pregnant was brilliant. Their immediate-shock shared look was very on point.

• Hayley, what the hell are you shooting Shanice, who is doing her job, such majorly unnceccesary attitude. Calm your ass down.

• Dr Mehta just walked into the lion's den with Bill and Hayley, but I am glad that Bill had laid out conditions and boundaries with Hayley. I can only hope that she maintains them.

• Chelsea always sees the glass as half-empty, while Naomi definitely sees it half-full. Opposites. Wish Chelsea could embody a bit more of Naomi and her perspective. It would do her a world of good.

• An unexpected gift? Hayley, girl, who are you trying to fool other than yourself? Bill, do not fall in love with this baby. Do not do it. It is not going to end well. I know it will not.

• Good job. Run the paternity test. Run it.

• What is wrong with shakes for breakfast? I have had macaroni and cheese for breakfast. Have whatever you want, and it makes you feel good.

• Glad to see Tyrell playing the big brother role and checking in on Samantha and how she is doing. so sweet of him.

• The poor staff of Garland Memorial having to deal with the drama caused by Hayley. And you do not want to con him? HA! That was a laugh I never knew I needed today.

• Martin is taking all of this on the chin in the best way possible. I like his outlook about this election and I know that come win or lose, I know that he is going to accept his fate with the best mentality. And you can tell how much both Anita and Vernon mean to him.

• Damn. Even the hospital elevator is renewing feelings for Bill. I do not blame him. But he has got to be honest with himself. It is time.

• I like seeing Samantha boost up Tyrell's confidence, especially after all he went through last year. Good for him thriving in college like this.

• So sweet seeing Chelsea and Naomi rally and support Bill during his hour of need. Those are his baby girls.

Notes:

• Woo-hoo! A Slater and Ponder day! Brilliantly paired. And Williford? Their eye is on point.

• Loving the alternate angle of Dani's set. We do not see the full view of it that often, so it is nice seeing it today. This soap continues to be brilliant.

• Jeresa Featherstone and her team are on point today. Both Timon Kyle Durrett (Bill) and Keith D. Robinson (Ted) looked wonderful in their suits today. Both were amazing colours, as well.
