Brenda apparently is in some sort of trouble again. Per TMZ, Dickson was arrested and booked for misdemeanor battery on a person on July 9 and released the same day on her own recognizance. The arrest came after cops were called to a location in Hollywood on July 8 and told Dickson allegedly assaulted someone, according to TMZ. The victim was not named.

THEN THERE’S Brenda Dickson. The California buxom-beauty has been dubbed the sex kitten of daily TV serials by the fan magazine press. And not without reason. Besides her love starved unwed mother portrayal of Jill Foster on “The Young and The Restless,"" Brenda has been squired by a string of suitors. These have ranged from a rock musician to a son of a politician. Then last spring, she announced her engagement to a Mr. Robert Rifkin. The couple set a Fourth of July wedding date and the bride to be has even been feted with a bridal shower. The wedding went up in smoke at the last minute , however, when the couple canceled. Brenda never did divulge what went sour and insisted that she was again making the dating rounds. But three months later, she married Robert at the Bel Air Hotel in an unannounced ceremony that was attended by family members only.
WHEN WE DIDN’T get married in July, I thought it was all over between us,” Brenda said. “But, I never really stopped loving him. And we were finally able to work out our differences. Everything’s lovely now and I’m so happy. What more can I say?”
A lot more. But we won't hear it from Brenda. She's more interested in crowing about life as a married woman and her budding career as a recording artist. She does, however, laugh at the memory of some advice she received early in her career.
BRENDA WAS still in her teens, had just toured Southeast Asia, entertaining the troops with Bob Hope, and was playjng Daisy Mae in a revue at a tacky dive when she was cast in her first film, a totally forgettable non-classic. Her leading man had advised her to “give up acting to marry a dentist—or someone like that." You guessed it—Mr. Rifkin is a dentist.
