Perhaps instead of a new head writer Sony will just add another "executive in charge" to decide long term story and then have just have writers churn out scripts.

Tuned in for just a few minutes, and of course, it was a scene with people talking about merging random companies...AGAIN. Turned it off.

Who at the network, Sony, CBS thinks these endless stories about random corporations, takeovers, mergers is something their audience cares about in in the least? I honestly don't understand the logic, and these "stories" have dominated the show for YEARS now.

In my opinion, the show has never been worse.

Weirdly, the awfulness does not translate in the ratings - would hate for Griffith’s successor to be told to keep this type of crap up. 😤

I think it is for Succession viewers who have lost access to any other network and are also severely depressed.

Frankly, they are not even stories -- not like traditional soap opera plots or storylines -- all this corporate stuff is just fodder for conversation, and nothing more. Characters just sit around talking about takeovers and mergers, but none of it matters and there are no consequences. All of it just gives the characters something to talk about.

Only interesting thing today was seeing Chelsea's new hair color.

That's it.

Unless it's in the morgue she can keep it!

Genuinely was so crazy to me how they broomed Chelsea and I think Chloe off the show after years of being deadweight when JG was gone only for him to bring 'em right on back! He did do that with Chloe too for awhile, didn't he? Oy.

Which is why I am going to laugh if one of the first things the new HW does is get rid of Chelesa. Proving the point that the only person who cared for the character was JG.

Not happy about the Kyle/Victoria scenes. Please not another Newman /Abbott hookup created so Victor can vow revenge.

So the Tack House turned up randomly for one episode while we are given daily doses of Society, GCAC etc.

The Matt story is ridiculous and Phyllis/Matt is beyond creepy. Shows what a lowlife Phyllis is that she will sleep with a rapist.

Still not understanding what sort of surgery Nikki had. Were both eyes treated? Wasn't it brain surgery? But there are no signs of that.

Honestly Josh must whip up these outlines on the fly.

I hope Nikki's storyline doesn't lead to some mess where she fakes going blind again just so Victor will behave himself or some [!@#$%^&*]. We've been down that road before, Josh.

-- If those are chem tests between Kyle and Victoria, it's a fail. I don't see anything there.

-- Tack house one day, and the previews show Lily back in her penthouse that we haven't seen for months. Isn't this show amazing!

-- Redeeming Matt Clark is one of the worst redemption arcs ever on soaps. Howarth is not worth it.

-- Nikki's entire blindness story is a laugh riot to me. She's spent so little time talking to doctors and professionals it's hilarious, and watching her count steps is hysterical. MTS is never getting that Emmy nom.

-- At least Nikki is still picking out nice outfits to wear while most of us would be in sweatshirts and track suits. Hair and makeup are still in business, too 😂
