I'll have to check Trader Joes the next time I am there.Correct about Dante/Lulu. Without Maxie, this would have been a good opportunity to put Dante in the triangle with Fathan/Lulu. Dante getting jealous, causing strain with his friendship with Nathan, slowly realizing he still in love with Lulu, etc. You could have easily replaced Maxie with Dante in this. Like @Vee and @titan1978 said the optics aren't great, but I still think the show plain hates Lulu lol.And you let me know as well. :) I saw the scenes from last week where Liz and Lulu had scenes alone and went hmmm. I had mentioned before that if they are testing Liz/Dante, I'm not against it, but Dante/Lulu was one of the major couples. Liz and Lulu have their own history (since they never did the better idea of Sam/Dante/Lulu) so it could work. I liked the idea of a Liz/Dante/Lulu triangle as well, but like you, CVE and Korte and Frank don't seem to want to use Lulu anymore except the same way they use Liz...to prop someone I don't like usually. I can't even get behind Ric/Liz/Dante/Lulu cuz the potential IS there, but I don't see the writers doing much with it.

6 hours ago6 hr Member Another slow day... not sure we needed a full episode of Gio/Emma babysitting... on the same day as Hallmark couple's book launch party planning. I like both couples, but they're too similar in their wholesome cuteness, and having both on the same day is a little repetitive.Chase is a little b!tch. Good to see Lulu/Cassius meet and soften again. I do wonder what the end game is. I also wonder if both Jason and Maxie's sudden exits really threw the writers for a loop and had to do the whole Britt/Rocco thing which is diverting Lulu/Cassius.
5 hours ago5 hr Member I’m loving the Quartermaine cousins having a common enemy and neither of them even realizing they’re both scheming against Willow.
5 hours ago5 hr Member Now that I'm in June (and slightly bedridden)...let me say WOW.Just like I mentioned over in the B&B Thread, I do like that GH has pivoted after a beginning of May where they went off a cliff into writing tics. But somewhere along the way, they altered course. And thank God!! They pulled themselves back and it's back to flowing, momentum, and...dare I say it...stories (if not couples) that interest me. THINGS I'VE BEEN LIKING...A NOTE SO SHALLOW. And by that, I'm not even going to lie...the eye candy has been eye candying. And we haven't even gotten to the annual return of the pool set yet. lol. Nathan Dean in all the form fitting clothes (special shoutout to his scenes with Alexis in her office)...or...just shirtless. Gio. THREE DAYS worth of Chase in swim trunks. Michael in the tank tops. That brief scene of Cody before the MUTE. I'm swimming (pun unintended) in pretty scenes. Oh, and as of late, the ladies' hair has really been standing out more to me and look really, really good. Shallow yes, but sometimes it is the little things. Speaking of Nathan Dean and Ethan...ANOTHER UGH BABY TALE, BUT A TANGLED WEB WEAVING... Like the rest of you, I am very much baby outed on this show. And I didn't at all like the start of the Delilah tale. And Ethan being the dad was seen from a mile away. But what has been interesting. Has been the different parts from it. The Alexis/Ava team-up. Alexis figuring it out. Ethan's (very well-acted when I could focus ND scene) reasons for saying nothing to Chase and BLQ. How the tale is bleeding a bit into Michael and his scheming against Willow. By going so slow, I do feel stakes coming. MICHAEL VS CHASE. I'll give Macquinta this much. I liked her brief stint as a henchwoman to Michael to work on getting Chase and Willow to fall into an affair. And while it has been too brief up to now...I do like that BLQ's claws are finally out and she's been rightfully calling Chase out again. Because Michael HAS been right. I think it's why I've been finding it so fascinating to watch (and so glad RG and Kate Mc are back in story rotation). It has been long established on this show that Chase has a hero complex to a very dangerous fault. And so many people INCLUDING HIS WIFE have called him out on it. It's the perfect storm for an affair to happen. So I am worrying that the writers are going to screw up something that is happening organically (and messily I mind add) to try to find some silly reason for it to happen (like BLQ being in the wrong or Tracy as a external plot fallperson) rather than let the tale happen organically out of character beats, NOT plot beats. So far, though, so dramatically good.SOMETHING BREWING. And by brewing, I mean Nina and Brennan. It sounds like Frank has found a way to keep Chris McKenna on the canvas (and the dead bullseye previously on Ava and Drew that aimed at him has moved on again) because there's chemistry there. And Chris's ability to play Brennan's hurt and longing for Carly...not to mention the history between all the characters...is shaping up to be something to watch between Val/Carly/Brennan/Nina. And I like they are all in the know about Brennan faking it which is so soapy. They just need to kill Random WSB Guy already. ROCCO'S EXIT. Was very well done. Jury is out for whether I feel the tension is still there of the canvas caring. JOSS. Okay, I like she has pieced together a lot of the past plots though it does put her in the position to know too much. And she is being quite the underdog. Also love her read of Pascal.THE FALL OF PASCAL. LIVING....FOR...IT. You all know I loathe that side character. All that was missing was Lucas giving him a good gay bitcaslap. But I loved how his fall came together. I love the surprisingly good team-up of Lucas, Laura, and Sonny. I even giggled at Sonny with the car wires at Pascal. THIS is the Sonny who put AJ on that meat hook. And I finally was going GET HIM, SONNY!!! And now Laura is free. I hope that means Sonny will continue to do something re: take care of Sidwell.OH, WE REMEMBER THE DECEPTION PLOT. With KS's recent troubles (and Maxie being onto Sidwell thus her coma in the first place), I was wondering what was going on. So Tracy calling that meeting to get him out...along with Sonny finally making moves...are we about to be rid of Sidwell finally?RIC/LIZ/DANTE. And Lulu makes four. I'm not against it. And I'm enjoying it quite a lot. It's just nice to see Liz with someone AND busy.THINGS I DON'T LIKE...WHAT DO YOU MEAN SINGING? One of things that I loved about Trina in spite of the writing was that I felt the audience knew Trina. That she still had agency about her. But...SINGING? The idea screams left field. And it stays looking it, too. These writers really hate her character, huh? I don't care about it.ANNA OFF-SCREEN. Is this GH or Josh Griffith's Y&R with most of Anna's story being off-screen? I love we are still getting Emma's POV, but for a show that does love to put all their action on-screen...it sticks out like a sore thumb.COUPLES. We know how I feel about the current couples. What makes it frustrating has been that there have been some honestly good moments within scenes with the couples I mute where they have an honest and ADULT conversation...then the writers snatch the moment away to go for wacka wacka humor and it's back on MUTE. It's been two years. WRITE RELATIONSHIPS/ROMANCE BETTER.THE MESSIEST DRAMA CRASHED AND BURNED. It's funny that at one point Isaiah/Portia/Curtis/Jordan were the messiest storyline on the show. Now? Curtis is insufferable. They appear to be dropping the intrigues to Jordan's current situation. BK is spinning crap into gold, but going nowhere. And Isaiah has been turned into Nate Hastings on Y&R with the destroyed hand. Which makes their story bubble that more apparent sadly. I don't even care now about who else was in any of the other cars. Flop.DREW. Now that Brennan has his storyline, I guess Cam has fallen from favor with Frank, huh? Part of my interest in the show again started with Drew's near-miss. So it's funny to see him as basically background furniture. Overall...a nice return to form.

I neeed to know what he will do now that he knows the woman he was obsessed with hates his guts and has been keeping him this way after being the one who shot him in the first place. I’m not asking for him to be redeemed, I need to see his revenge plot.
3 hours ago3 hr Member -- I like Gio and Emma, but this babysitting stuff was all too much and way overdone. Spare me. These kids are young, right? Don't write them as boring, settled adults who do nothing BUT Netflix & Chill.-- The Ric, Alexis, Molly, Cody, etc. party planning stuff was torture.-- The other stuff was actually decent, but the points I mentioned above kind of made the entire episode a "Shoulda Skipped It" for me.

Don't write them as boring, settled adults who do nothing BUT Netflix & Chill.Yeah, they don't write for this couple beyond this. They know by now Gio and Emma are popular, more popular than Joss, so they give them these lovey dovey interludes as a sop to the audience while not actually driving any major story. It is insanely frustrating, even if they've wisely begun stripping Gio's clothes off more often.I am more convinced by the day that Stella really did switch the damn paternity results hoping Curtis and Portia would reunite, and now it's imploded. We all called this months ago but I live in terror that that will be the next time wasting development IMO, just like everything else with these four is always about filling time so Frank can claim he writes for Black people. "Ah just wanted you to find your way back to each other! What have ah done?!" Followed by someone claiming the law is 'railroading Stella' again. Edited 2 hours ago2 hr by Vee

Uh....since WHEN? It makes me think that if Frank ever lets Drew out of that chair, if he would do anything or will it be a repeat of the Ric hostage situation where instead of going after Alexis, Ava, and Kristina, Ric just...let bygones be bygones. The potential conflict/messy drama evaporating into thin air. Then again...Cam has always played Drew as more obsessed. And he most definitely has been reacting to Willow and Chase's growing closeness. 50 minutes ago, CrazySexyQ said:GH has fallen off a creative cliff for me.
