"Getting?"

You mean, you don't buy ADA Turner (a.k.a. another 'Brenda clone') being Sonny's true love? Why not? You should! D'uh!

But no, in all seriousness, I know exiting Maurice Benard as Sonny would be a shift and likely have some kind of backlash, but it is something that is overdue. It should have happened when Sonny was in jail with Ava and Julian. That should have been the exit strategy; it's clear he won't play certain storylines and pushes back (and, IMHO, he is not one of those actors who have earned that right).

How is a South Asian Canadian a brenda bot?

She looks just like all the rest of them (Sam, Reese, Hannah, Angel, Claire Walsh, lawyer Jordan from the 2000s). Vaguely VM-esque if you squint in the dark.

There is nothing else remotely noticeable or interesting about Turner.

Fair enough. Lol.

Because the actress looks like Vanessa Marcil? She's not even a Brenda bot to be fair. She's lower tier than that.

The Willow/Chase stuff today was pretty sexy. I loved Michael and Jacinda's scheming too, although I did find something very sweet between Michael/Willow in the beginning when she allowed him to have the kids for the 4th picnic.

Always love watching LW and CW work together.

Well it doesn't look like they're going to make Lucas and Joe friends... at least not now. Joe's got a stick up his butt and I want to know what his secret is.

Oh Frenchie looked like he was going to crap his pants there at the end haha.

She’s the closest we have had to an OG Brenda Bot in a long time! And even then, as @carolineg said, she’s not even as memorable as Hannah, or Sam. Or maybe even Angel (although that one was ROUGH to sit through).

At least Turner came alive in those court scenes with the Willow trial. She not a bad actor, she’s just not fit to be paired with the unfortunately still leading man of this show. Same problem with Jacinda!

I'll just say what we all know for the umpteenth time: They are not going to risk their numbers firing Mo until he is ready to retire or becomes impossible to handle BTS, which I doubt would happen at this late date (and even then look at the Kirsten Storms employment program). And I don't blame them for not risking it. I do think the Mo problem can be contained and perhaps improved upon with a) better writing which is not coming, and b) Vanessa Marcil to shoulder his load of story and major airtime for the two of them as a unit, and maybe engage/excite him a bit as he takes the secondary role he is already in.

But Frank doesn't want to do that, so here we are with Sidwell's wife. It's a test pattern.

Mo is capable of waking up a bit BTW. Lynn Herring keeps him jumping these days, they are legitimately enjoyable to watch. I'd play on that old friendship as much as possible in the meantime lol.

Oh I think she's pretty bad, lol. At least at this kind of material. Maybe in another genre, who knows. She was very good cross-examining Willow but that's an outlier for me vs. what we endure with NC/Turner most days. If they kept her in that barracuda role on recurring and then phased her out I'd be fine with that. But I would most likely dump her so fast it would look like time travel. Claire Walsh would've gotten a more graceful exit than I'd give Justine.

Maybe Willow could stick Sonny with the same needle she stuck Drew with?

Chase 😍😍😍😍

But yeah, I think it's time for Jacinda to go. She was being all judgy with Michael today, yet helping him every step of the way. What? I just don't get the character. It's too bad that they're not gonna go there with her and Kristina.

Btw, are we getting a Lucas/Joe heated rivalry, or a Red, White & Royal Blue-like situation? 😊😊😍

Fully agree. They'd be CRAZY to get rid of Mo. That would be a self-inflicted nightmare.

I mean, DAYUM. He looks so good. Keep him in swim trunks and shirtless all day long.

-- I love Dark Michael. Sexy af. And did anyone notice how tight his pants were?

-- Lucas and Joe are interesting. Jonathan Bennett can play straight, which makes them more interesting together. I'd like a storyline where Joe is closeted and/or fighting his sexuality.

-- I feel like Callum gets a different toupee every day.

There are definitely ways to use Mo in a capacity that works for him and the show. I don't think he should be fired. Before I get boos he did help lead the show right or wrong for a long time. I am not putting the entire onus on the writing staff, but there are stories you could create for Sonny that would work even without bringing a Brinks truck to Vanessa Marcil's house. Although I would volunteer to drive it lol.

As far as Turner, I don't know. She isn't the worst actress in the history of GH. She is just like a tepid cup of tea. She's there and I don't want it. I am not even sure if she is a Brendabot just because she looks like Vanessa Marcil. The show used to be clear it was Sonny's kink to seek out women that looked like Brenda, but Idk if that's what the angle is here.

I would put him in a silly little secret fling with Alexis for awhile (if NLG could stand it). Or bring back Tea Delgado, as I've said! But the endgame plan would still be what I've always said: Bring back Brenda, on contract if possible, marry them off and let her take the lead in her own story while Mo sits back and plays with the dog. His role would not have to change much from what it is now tbqh. Though Sonny would get out of the mob and into white collar mischief.

Yes. I am not sure NLG would be down, but I'd allow it of course.

Mo has always sparked with Vanessa even if her last return wasn't top tier. I could see him and Brenda bickering about some exasperating plan Brenda has or something Carly, the kids, Ava, or whoever have done and you could keep it rolling with that. Sonny's out of the mob but they'd have interpersonal conflicts and Sonny plays with the dog while Bren takes over Deception. With a strong female lead you could mask a lot of Sonny/Mo's diminishing performances.

Hell to the no for Sonny/Alexis.

Does Vanessa Marcel come from money? Or have a business?

Because she hasn't worked in the industry for 7 years and her partner, MC Martin, is a CA Deputy Sheriff.
