The scene between Lily and Victoria at the new shadow room opening had me cracking TF up! I never usually care about Lily at all but seeing her stand up to Victoria was great. “I’m sure your mom can find something else to do.” 🤭 SO good.

Shemar's return was a welcome surprise. He did sincerely thank Cane for saving his life, but then we had to get the cliche "If you hurt Lily again, you will answer to me." I hated that.

Is there some kind of soap law that this kind of threat has to be made? I found it even worse since CANE SAVED HIS LIFE.

Onto another point, @YRfan23 @kalbir @ranger1rg @Paul Raven @Taoboi just HOW many times are we going to repeat the story of “Oh Noah Newman is opening up a nightclub” LOL this seriously has to be like the 4th or 5th time with the 4th or 5th actor. 🤣

I’m honestly surprised JG has kept the Noah/Sienna thing going and not already tried to introduce the next Eden/Hunter/Adrianna/Courtney/Marisa character. I liked Adams and Braun on Days but here on JG’s Y&R they’re low energy and out of place.

-- The line for The Shadow Room opening was "around the block"? 😄 They needed a lot more extras to pull off that line.

-- Noah's new bartenders didn't show? I guess that's more extras not needed. Believing Sierra alone could handle an overflow crowd is hilarious.

-- The best part of the show was Lily's takedown of Victoria. Chef's kiss.

-- The Shadow Room is a nice set, but the direction of the scenes there was weak. Too many close-ups, and almost nothing showing any depth.

So true about Noah's nightclub. I was also shocked to hear that The Glam Club was a success 😂

To avoid showing that there weren't enough extras. The opposite of Crimson Lights where the wide shots repeatedly show the place is MT.

I have a feeling that before long we will be heartily sick of that set.

And I have to chuckle at the 80's Danny Romalotti photo on the wall. Decades later we're still supposed to believe he was an 80's rock icon and revered today.

Noah was SORASed in 2009 and none of his storylines since then have worked.

That was un annecessary SORAS that aged up his parents too soon. And for decades Sharon and Noah played their real ages at the same time supposedly parents of a twenty something.

Lily ate Victoria up, and I loved every second of it. The Dru in her came out to play. This might've been my favorite Lily scene ever.

Happy to see the Shadow Room's opening night be a success. Happy to see Cane and Lily link up at the opening night; plus, it's also nice seeing Billy Flynn share scenes with Tamara Braun as well. The set seems like just a chill, cool place to hang out and just have a night nice out with friends, loved ones, or on a date night.

The bumpit in Christine's hair is working overtime. Truly, it must be the Mrs Danny Romalotti coming out in her. And now Danny wants to retire or take a hiatus? Sure, Danny. I believe that. Sure. So, they're about to Mac Scorpio him by having him tend bar at the local spot? 🤣

I like that Adam's attempt to make peace with Billy was genuine on his side; it shows character growth. And I am really enjoying the reunion between Adam and Chelsea. It's been overdue for some time.

Lily working overtime to upset Victoria about Chancellor is hilarious to me, but hilarious in a good way. I've always preferred Lily when she is in business mode, and right now, she is in it to the max. And her gunning to get under Victoria's skin is exciting. Goodness, Billy Flynn and Christel Khalil have such palpable chemistry. I need it to happen. Now.

The Nate flashbacks are definitely an impetus for Nate's return to medicine. I am calling it now. Plus, they show just how far Nate has been driven away from his medical career.

Well, it looks like Victor survived the tornado in Fairmont Crest. 🤣 TGVN continues to reign, ha.

I know the cast has been doing new publicity images, but part of me hopes and wishes that they shot a new opening, because I have hated the current one since its debut. It is cheap and very tawdry. At this point, bring back the white opening, which should have been easy to keep updated.
