I’m on an island alone of having no problem with Joss or Eden 😂. Tbf I missed probably all of the problematic years you guys all hate her for. She’s always just been perfect mini LW Carly to me. The exact daughter I feel LW’s Carly would have.

I also really enjoy RP as Cassius now that he doesn’t have to keep up the Nathan mask with everyone.

I don't think Eden is a bad actress in the general sense and I actually feel for her after the loss of her mother so young. I just don't find her leading lady material. She's not very charismatic, has little chemistry with her leading men, has had story after story that have failed and is pushed like she is the next LW's Carly. Unfortunately she lacks LW's more engaging screen presence and star power.

The writing hasn't worked for her, nor does it play to Eden's stronger suits. There also is a lot of fan resentment

on my part because every time Joss screws up she's still painted in the right. Sort of similar to Brook Lynn's writing.

In a so-called perfect world, I could see Frank and his team taking up @Vee on his suggestion to turn Eden's Joss into a modern-day Carole Lombard: the screwball heiress who just needs William Powell to come along and toss her spoiled behind in the shower with all her clothes still on. Maybe Eden doesn't have the late Lombard's knack for physical comedy, but it couldn't be any worse than watching her play "Josslyn Jacks in 'Live and Let Blonde'."

Yeah I think this is where different strokes for different folks comes in. I literally have zero issue with Eden as Joss 😂

Yeah, the fan resentment for Joss as heroine and squeeze into every story even if she does not fit is very and truly real.

That said...since Joss did start off as trouble, I could see Eden playing Joss as a bad girl if allowed. I did like the rivalry energy she had with Lexi's Kristina for example. The catfights that could have been.

Well, I do like Sonny, so what do I know? 😂

I think Eden could play a bad girl, socialite, even a slightly ditzy character with some humor. The romantic heroine and leader of the young adult scene doesn't work for her. BB as Emma is a much better fit for that since we all know Trina will never be allowed to.

Yeah at this point, I can definitely see her playing all of those as well...and I do feel it would play to Eden's strength as an actress.

In terms of her place/position on the canvas, yeah such a miscast. BB's Emma totally should be and could do (heroine...just look at her as current tether for the Anna story while still being romanced...and leader of the YA scene...well everyone pops up together more when she's around than Joss herself) both easily. And just with what little she and Gio are given, she has proven that. No question.

Sad, but true. re: Trina.

You liking Sonny is why I’m fine with liking Joss 😂😂😂
