Today's episode was solid. Some great dialogue between characters, which I always appreciate. I only wish Paulina's exit were permanent; Jackée Harry should have been let go years ago. And then Lani's parentage restored to its original story: Abe and Tamara.

Javi's new boyfriend is cute. Michael Ocampo is a naturally charismatic actor who definitely suits the role, and his immediate chemistry with Al Calderon is noticeable. Hoping, come June, that chemistry still exists and that Ocampo's stay is not a short one.

I like how the relationship between Gabi and Ari is developing; this was missing when Marissa Reyes was in the role of Ari. Again, family is a cornerstone of Days of Our Lives, and while you may not like or even love the families featured in today's episode, it is nice seeing that core theme of family being represented in today's episode. More of this is needed. Some easy watching, with some good character-centric dialogues happening.
