I guess that when you don't know how to write any interesting organic conflicts for your main characters, "Psycho from the past comes back to terrorize them" is just about the only way to generate some temporary excitement.

I was just saying yesterday that I try to pretend Patty's returns never happened. No matter how much some in the soap press tried to hype the umpteenth Sheffer/MAB histrionics, I thought it was unwatchable. So now here we are again - and somehow, she is the last representation of the Williams family on Y&R. How sad.

The only thing that would interest me is a redemption story, but she's more likely to just terrorize Jack and Diane and whoever else. I don't give a damn.

Sigh…please don’t have her be used as a revenge plot of Victors or something stupid like that…

What TIIC at the time did to Patty is a travesty. Bill Bell must be rolling over in his grave. (Or perhaps "spinning" is more like it.)

As the last remaining Williams on the show, giving her a redemption arc would be nice, but probably impossible at this point. What a mess this show is.

Just what the show needs. More scenery chewing.
